My apologies a deadly shooting attack, not a bus attack as terrorists have used over the years against Israel

I was criticised in another thread for saying pro-Palestinians highlight the very worst of humanity. I have to say, I've not seen anything in this thread that's changed my mind

And you don’t think justifying a genocide is the worst of humanity? I pointed out the irony that the same posters who derail every thread about atrocities in Palestine by saying that the civilian deaths are just war, that it’s inevitable and it’s due to Hamas, are now wringing their hands on this thread. Funny how it’s okay to say it about Palestinian people, but not Israelis?

BTW, settlers in the West Bank have burned a children’s nursery to the ground overnight. A nursery. There isn’t Hamas in the West Bank. Yet there’s no condemnation of that? The fact that Palestinian lives are seen as so disposable is what’s the worst of humanity.

Of course Hamas is in the West Bank. Along with various other terrorist groups.

It's already been highlighted a few times the difference between war and a terrorist attack. You may want to read back the previous posts

And as for genocide, it's a pretty piss poor one if Israel are as powerful and evil as Hamas supporters would have us believe they are. That's why it hasn't been proven, it's not happening. Yet, during all previous genocides I am sure the victims would have done everything they could to stop it and save themselves. There were amazing acts of bravery during the Holocaust. Gazans could stop this so called genocide today, why aren't they?

How do you think yesterday's events are going help Palestinians? Have they furthered their cause at all? If Israel is so terrible, isn't this just going to make them worse? If you care about Palestinians so much, you must realise they've only made things worse for themselves. Not least in showing the world they're not the innocent, peace loving, vulnerable civilians they and their supporters would have us believe. Thousands of Palestinian civilians poured into Israel on 7/10 after Hamas brought down the border defences, raping, looting, murdering, kidnapping. All the thousands of Gazan workers who used to travel into Israel every day to work, that's all stopped now obviously, and definitely for the long term future. They can't be trusted. Gazan employees spied on their Israeli employees and mapped out their villages for Hamas. They asked for their wages early on 6/10, they knew what was going to happen, who did they warn?!

Of course all compassionate people are wringing their hands on this thread, what happened in Jerusalem was atrocious, but it's just the latest in a long line of Palestinian atrocities which their supporters either try to justify or turn a blind eye to

To be honest I don’t even know where to begin with your comment seeing as you are continuing to attempt to justify a genocide. How does setting a nursery on fire help the cause of Israel?

Unless, what you’re saying is that Israel can act as they want, and Palestinians are expected to just accept it? Which comes back to my point of you seeing some lives as disposable.

That sounds an awful lot like victim blaming to me.

I'm sure you're well placed to know. Pro-Palestinians have done nothing but that since 7/10

DenizenOfAisleOfShame · 09/09/2025 07:41

The motives of anyone who uses “genocide” about military action by Israel, the Jewish homeland established in the wake of the Holocaust, should be regarded with a very great deal of suspicion.

You do realise that this started before 7/10?

Military action is one thing.

Enforcing a famine, destroying infrastructure across a nation and having high ranking members of your military openly speaking about wanting to destroy the state of Gaza, is quite another.

IGaveSoManySigns · 09/09/2025 07:42

You're absolutely right. There were centuries of dhimmitude where Jews were oppressed, exploited, massacred and enslaved by Muslims

Your refusal to acknowledge the evils that Israel is carrying out is terrifying. You seem to believe that Muslim
lives are worth less.

No? On what planet have I done that? This is why I can’t take some of your seriously. It’s absolutely insane to say I’m justifying it because I said it started before 7/10?!

Anyway, as someone who has accused others of derailing threads, I'm sure you'll agree we should get back to talking about the terrorist attack carried out by Palestinians in Jerusalem.

How do you think they have furthered their cause? What have they achieved?

I do not believe they have furthered their cause, but Israel haven't furthered their case by burning down a nursery. Interesting that you cannot condemn that.

The irony is that you were criticising other people for derailing threads and now you're doing the same with your whataboutery

Do you have anything constructive to say about the Palestinian terrorist attack or shall we leave this here?

allusernamesaretakennow · 09/09/2025 08:11

Dangermoos · 08/09/2025 21:58

This is the pattern, with those who jumped on the moral pro Pal crusade. I've said before, if they can't or won't grasp the evolution of the region, it's pointless trying to reason with them. According to most, history is irrelevant, unless it depicts displacement/illegal settlements/zionist thirst for blood etc.

This.

Your post I was responding to didn't say anything of the sort so that's clearly not what I'm doing. But you just carry on derailing the thread with the usual hyperbole and distorted personal accusations if you feel it achieves anything. Just make sure no-one mentions the Palestinian terrorists who shot up a bus full of innocent Israeli civilians today, killing six people and injuring twelve.

This.

Deflect from terrorism.

Look there's literally hundreds of threads talking about all the things that people think Israel has done wrong. This particular thread is about a terrorist attack in Jerusalem. Sadly, this wont help with peace for everyone.
