It’s a really difficult watch.

Heartbreaking. Listening to the testimony anonymously of an Israeli doctor who’s speaking about the horrendous mistreatment of Palestinians held without charge. He says it was common practice for Palestinians held to have procedures without anaesthetic. He talks about how he was complicit and it’s scary how he’d normalised this behaviour .
an IDF soldier also gives testimony anonymously of how he witnessed detainees being abused and raped and that this behaviour wasn’t not only tolerated but encouraged .
an absolutely heart breaking watch. The brave brave doctors who are targeted and detained to only be abused and murdered

I actually don’t even know what to say. Even though I have seen so much on insta, the depths plunged get lower and lower.
Wondering what excuses will be to make this acceptable. Despicable.
When the clip of the doctor whose son was killed said “everything we have built, they have burnt” heartbreaking

just when you think it can’t get any worse . Completely in awe at the bravery of the doctors who time and time again put their lives at risk for the lives of their patients .
watching the Israeli politicians discuss whether it’s acceptable to rape Palestinians held captive beyond horrific .
only time will reveal the true horrors of what Israel has subjected the Palestinians too and one day everyone will have been against it .

I watched it, with some justified scepticism and as it's impartiality was called into question by the BBC, so given that the BBC has pretty low standards I took trouble I fact checked as I went along. There was so much demonstrable untruth and misleading information included that it sadly made it impossible to engage with any sense of faith. I have no question there is terrible hardship and suffering going on, but I feel it's sadly unlikely that we are hearing from the true victims yet.

Part of this terrible war is being fought with guns, and a larger part of it is being fought around the world with words. Hamas' greatest weapon isn't a gun, but their well-honed skill at demonising Israel whilst taking no responsibility themselves for any part in the violence and destruction, even as hostages languish in their basements.

Of course, this is very effective. It has always been. And there always has been activists in all shapes and forms looking to play out their own ideals in an imaginary battle between good and evil. But unfortunately this efficiency perpetuates a war the Palestinians can never and will never win.

I wish all of them lives of safety, prosperity and security. I wish that a time will come where their government keeps them safe, and puts this above all other things. What completely senseless loss of life.

Please feel free to provide evidence of all this 'demonstrable untruth and misleading information' rather than just making sweeping statements.

I watched the documentary and was horrified at the actions of the Israelis. As a healthcare worker myself in the UK, I find it shocking and sad how the palestinian healthcare workers have been treated.

I'm impressed at channel 4 though for making a stand and showing the documentary and disappointed the bbc fell under zionist pressure to try and prevent this being shown.

Lets hope they and their followers feel the shame they rightly should.

I have come to expect nothing from Israel except abject denial.

It was heartbreaking and truthful and that Guardian review has it spot on. Only the very dregs of humanity, as seen on this thread, will deny it.

And here lies the problem . We’re talking about the systematic targeting of Gazas hospitals to break down the health system. Health workers being tortured , raped and murdered and you’re equating that to someone’s feelings being hurt. Could you dehumanise the Palestinians any more 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Why are we talking about healthcare workers being detained, tortured and sexually abused and hospital infrastructure destroyed and patients and children left to die?
