Currently showing now on Channel 4 . A must watch for everyone. A forensic investigation into the Israeli attacks on hospitals in Gaza examining Israel’s targeting of the healthcare system and workers in Gaza

It didn’t demonstrate genocide either but you are still convinced the ‘ethnic cleansing’ is a one way street

Have over 56,000 Israelis been killed in this war as well? Looking pretty on way at the moment I’m afraid.

I'm only 10mins into this but what has struck me is how vibrant and busy Gaza was. Cars, homes, streets, hustle and bustle. It's such a stark contrast to what we see now which is sand and tents and hungry people walking for miles to either be shot or fed. I didn't notice the difference because I suppose it happened gradually that the videos we were seeing changed but seeing it again, what Gaza was like less than 2 years ago is really shocking.

I guess the poster should have qualified it by saying it's a must watch for anyone who takes a healthy interest in the world in general and thinks that knowledge is important.

Watching our very selective UK news channels is not 'knowledge' there's wars and atrocities in other countries that never get a mention, ever.

samlett · 03/07/2025 15:02

Nobody said you should only watch this program and that's all the knowledge you need 😐Not that it needs spelling out, but there's nothing to stop you from going to different sources or learning about other things in life.

I watched it, with some justified scepticism and as it's impartiality was called into question by the BBC, so given that the BBC has pretty low standards I took trouble I fact checked as I went along. There was so much demonstrable untruth and misleading information included that it sadly made it impossible to engage with any sense of faith. I have no question there is terrible hardship and suffering going on, but I feel it's sadly unlikely that we are hearing from the true victims yet.

Part of this terrible war is being fought with guns, and a larger part of it is being fought around the world with words. Hamas' greatest weapon isn't a gun, but their well-honed skill at demonising Israel whilst taking no responsibility themselves for any part in the violence and destruction, even as hostages languish in their basements.

Of course, this is very effective. It has always been. And there always has been activists in all shapes and forms looking to play out their own ideals in an imaginary battle between good and evil. But unfortunately this efficiency perpetuates a war the Palestinians can never and will never win.

I wish all of them lives of safety, prosperity and security. I wish that a time will come where their government keeps them safe, and puts this above all other things. What completely senseless loss of life.

Yep, 100% agree.

In the words of David Collier, “Channel 4 believe any old crap”.

The BBC should be ashamed that they have completely intimidated by the Israeli government's lobbyists and friends. How anyone can defend Israel's behaviour is beyond me.

Well according to threads on here about Glastonbury, so do the BBC.

And there we have it. Always have someone who can’t stand to hear a differing viewpoint.
I suppose you agree with Brent becoming twinned with Palestine too? Let’s not worry about how local Jewish groups feel 🤷‍♀️

Not differing viewpoint that post was bordering on complete denial and excuses. Perhaps a Brent thread might get more interest. This is about people in Gaza.

I watched the documentary and I was horrified by it. It’s rare to see footage from Gaza at all and I thought they did a fantastic investigation- which must be extremely difficult given the circumstances.

I was shocked that so many medics ‘disappeared’. Getting snatched from a Gaza hospital and ending up dead in an Israeli prison, WTF. And the allegations about Sde Teiman are widespread, and not unique to this programme.

Amongst the saddest bits was an Israeli whistleblower saying essentially that there wasn’t even the need for a cover up any more since Israeli society seemed to have so dehumanised Gazans.
