Trump issues "last warning" to Hamas

US President Donald Trump has issued what he called a "last warning" to Hamas to release the hostages being held in Gaza.

"I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don't do as I say," Trump said in a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform.

In his social media post, Trump said there would be "hell to pay" if the hostages were not released, while not specifying the nature of the support he was sending Israel.
"Release all of the hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you," he added.
"For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance."

He also appeared to threaten civilians: "Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD!"

Someone isn’t happy that it’s been revealed they were talking to Hamas about releasing the American hostages…

He also stated that “Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted!””

does someone know how many Palestinian bodies does Israel hold ? Are they sick and twisted too?

Hamas has rejected the threat and said hostages will only be returned via ceasefire and talks .

I actually agree with him that it's sick and twisted to keep bodies - on both sides.

Social media has been eye-opening in response to Trumps "announcement". Ironically he has succeeded in getting people to openly admit their desire for the total destruction of Palestinians in Gaza (not just Hamas) a war crime.

the reality is it’s the terrorists and politicians that are to blame but the civilians get caught up in the mess and hated just because of where they are from.

They have held the bodies of Palestinian minors. Israel have held on to bodies of Palestinian to use as bargaining chips since the 1967 war.

I hate this idea that we need to pick a side. If I criticise IDF then some accuse me of being antisemitic, or that the destruction of Gaza is somehow justified.

To be honest there have been atrocities from both sides.

I think Trump's statement is just mad, he is threatening civilians, I sense he was very pissed off when he wrote it. My first thought was, here comes another war on terror and I expect to see USA flags burning on the news tonight.

Trump does tend to get things done... not a fan, but if he can bring this sickening hostage debacle to an end then credit to him. Almost impossible to negotiate with terrorist organisations and Hamas are cold blooded murdering terrorists who don't care about anyone apart from the destruction of Jews and looking after themselves.

Goodness I wonder if he will have to get really involved I expect he won’t have a problem with US troops on the ground there 🤔 then he will be able to realise his dream of a Trump Gaza version of Dubai

Even worst the first article is from 2009 and it charges Israel with illegally harvesting organs (and skin) from dead Palestinians. The Dr interviewed claims it no longer happens.

there were talks for the 2nd phase where we would see all this … why not continue with those talks and get the hostages that are alive back … rather than threatening to bomb Gaza … hostages that are alive will be killed this way along many innocent Palestinians

There was one hospital team which didn't get consent from a number patients, 30 years ago. It wasn't only Palestinians: it came to light when parents of dead IDF soldiers complained.

When I first read it on Apple News I thought it might be a spoof due to the hyperbolic language used but No, he really said it.

Personally, I’m not a Trump fan but I wonder if this is the sort of language Hamas understand. Maybe it takes a bully to get terrorists to listen as they speak the same language. Being a bully & unpredictable makes it seem possible Trump could carry his threats through.

Don’t agree with him threatening civilians though. Some may be appearing to side with Hamas through fear of repercussions so he should stick to threatening terrorists.

Genocide is defined in § 1091 and includes violent attacks with the specific intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.

This is according to the US Dept of Justice. By threatening death on not only Hamas but also Palestinian civilians Trump is inciting genocide under international law which is a crime (just to add to his felonies) he needs to be impeached.

The argument often here is that Hamas wants the death of all Jews . By allying themselves with Trump the Israeli government has also shown that they also desire for the massacre of a people (not just evict them from the area)

The issue with this statement also is seeing Hamas as the only problem . There was a proposal by the Arab countries rejected by Israel and America. Israel have changed the terms of the ceasefire and broken it by refusing to allow aid in.

So expel Jews? Thought everyone was anti ethnic cleansing- oh wait Jews don’t matter!
