This thread is about support & compassion on the anniversary of 7 October, not anything else.

I think this is very good advice. The people of Gaza, of course, need to be thought of, but this isn't the thread for that, start your own. I would suggest not today though.
This thread is to think of the Israelis and others murdered, raped and held hostage by Hamas from October 7th and the affect that has had on Jewish people around the world.

This is a specific thread created in remembrance, and to mark this anniversary.

Please could posters let this one thread just be respected as such? There is a whole board and many other threads existing, or could be started, if anyone wishes to debate the wider situation. It's disrespectful as well as distasteful to attempt to derail, hijack and practice whataboutery on a thread specifically created to provide a space for the mourning of the Jewish people.

I have been thinking about Jewish people in Israel, in the UK, & around the world today.
I hope you can feel the love & support...
