Sad 4th thread and hostages still held by Hamas and others.

We found out he was murdered in Feb 2024. He hasn’t just been killed today.

The second hostage recovered from Gaza last week has been identified as Aviv Atzili,49
“Atzili, a warrant officer in reserves and a member of Kibbutz Nir Oz’s civil defense squad, was killed battling Hamas-led terrorists in the Gaza border community on October 7, 2023. He was 49.
According to the IDF, after being killed in battle, Atzili’s body was abducted by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad to Gaza”

The body of slain hostage Jonathan Samerano was recovered from the Gaza Strip, his father Kobi announces.
“Yesterday was Yonati’s Hebrew birthday. On his 23rd birthday, on the very day he was born, our Yonati was rescued in a heroic operation by the brave soldiers of the IDF and the Shin Bet,” Kobi Samerano says on Instagram.
The IDF has not yet commented on the operation.
Samerano, 21, fled from the Nova music festival when Hamas terrorists attacked on October 7, 2023, to Kibbutz Be’eri with two friends, where they were murdered, and his body was abducted
