The footage of Arbel being released is horrific to watch. She looks utterly terrified.

Said much better than I ever could....

I've only just caught up with the news, those terrorists are sub human. No consideration at all for her. I understand she was held alone and has had no contact with other hostages the entire time and didn't know what had happened at her home.

Hamas rotten to the core, parading around being cheered as if hero's. Vile.

herecomesautumn · 30/01/2025 22:19

I've just watched the news

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. I can't say more. Vile

Those poor hostages

And the prisoners released in exchange carried as if they've "won" something

The 80 year old man surrounded by terrorists scum. Hamas and the other terrorists cannot continue 'in charge'. Disgraceful.

Praying Palestinians hostage doctor Hussam and Ahmad Manasra are being released!

Why are they being held, are they Hamas?

GentleScroller · 30/01/2025 23:01

Liv999 · 30/01/2025 22:50

Why are they being held, are they Hamas?

This thread is about Israeli hostages being held, released and confirmed dead. Can you please direct your question to a different thread. That would be appreciated.

Liv999 · 30/01/2025 23:06

It's a genuine question, somebody mentioned they hoped these people would be released also?

stomachamelon · 31/01/2025 07:36

The question itself is self explanatory and this is not the right thread @Liv999

It's abundantly clear what this thread is about so there is just no need.

Thank you.

Ps I believe Google is still up and running.

Yarden Bibas, Ofer Calderon, and Kieth Siegel to be released tomorrow.

Yarden is coming home without his wife and kids. Just sickening

quantumbutterfly · 31/01/2025 11:45

💔his family are in all our hearts. I was going to write how relieved I am that he's alive but that information is part of the terrorist weaponry.

As before. We wait. 🎗️🇮🇱

I fear the very worst has happened to them. Hamas are playing with people's emotions but what can you expect from terrorists who put their own people in harms way. 💔

Scirocco · 31/01/2025 12:36

The BBC is also reporting Yarden Bibas is named as one of the next men to be released. He and his family are in so many hearts, today and every day.

Realistically, Shiri, Kfir and Ariel were dead even before the first hostage release back in November 2023.

There is no reason they wouldn’t have been included in that release if they were still alive at that point. Why else release all the kids bar two?

blackcherryconserve · 31/01/2025 12:44

I tend to agree with you LolaPeony

israelilefty · 31/01/2025 14:15

@LolaPeony I think that the worst case scenario playing out in many minds is that we will never know what happened to them. I understand that they are not believed by either Hamas or Israel to be alive; if they were believed to be alive, there would have been hell to pay at this point - the hostages are released by status, and the previous release was brought forward just because female soldiers had been released ahead of the female civilian Arbel Yehud. I fervently hope that their fate is known and is not being shared publicly while Yarden is still in captivity (we know that some - though not all - of the hostages have some limited access to radio and Arab TV). Every Israeli I saw today just reacted with a hugely painful sigh to the announcement he's being released. At least he will be able to receive support to begin healing, if healing is even possible.

At least Yarden will be surrounded by people who love him and love his family .

And that love stretches wider than he can possibly know

stomachamelon · 31/01/2025 18:43

It's utterly heartbreaking and j suppose I just hoped until I saw the news.
Tears again. I feel heartbroken.

Lindos1 · 31/01/2025 19:47

Just to say that I'm so, so sorry to see that things are not looking good re: the Bibas family.
There are just no words really are there?
The evil behind this you just can't believe.
On top of all the horror, I just can't imagine the psychological distress for Israelis.
I'm so sorry...

Tears again. I feel heartbroken.

We all hoped to see those beautiful children again.
And their dear dear mother whose only thought would have been about how to keep her beloved ones safe.
Eternal rest grant unto them o lord and let perpetual light shine upon them.

I hope my prayer ( a Christian prayer) is understood in the spirit in which it was given -one God who hears all our different prayers and doesn’t discriminate. Religion is meaningless if we cant unite over theBibas family (and little Hind. )
