I've just seen on social media graphic videos of 5 dead aid workers from Australia, Austrian and British. The WCK are the people responsible for the ships coming into Gaza at the Jetty to distribute food. This was the second ship that departed from Cyprus a few days ago. Once arriving at the jetty they had to distribute the food. They were targeted in an armoured vehicle in Deir el Balah by the IDF. Its now being pick up by the press.Very sad.

And yet there’s no evidence of orders for hits on innocent civilians. Either there are secret orders and the IDF has watertight communication, there are public or secret orders and the normal amount of leakiness of a massive organisation but reporters aren’t doing their jobs or there aren’t any orders. One of those options seems much, much more plausible than then others…

IDF soldiers have spoken about orders and suggestions and tacit approval of multiple acts against unconfirmed targets (ie not confirmed to be legitimate targets). People have received kill orders for children, bulldozed civilians, etc.

I’ve not seen evidence of that. Can you share? I’ve seen lots of anonymous quotes which are claimed to have been from soldiers without any evidence they’re real though. And there was that conscript who was quoted as saying he hadn’t seen any evidence to justify targeting a specific person, but that was resoundingly criticised for being taken out of context because low level soldiers never get intelligence briefs, they just get orders.

If this man was a terrorist and If the IDF knew he was a terrorist, then why didn’t the IDF just walk into his kitchen and arrest him. He wasn’t surrounded by armed guards or booby traps- he was driving in a car loaded with onions and potatoes. The agency had background checked him and the IDF haven’t produced their evidence. If their intelligence was so sound, was there really a need to kill everyone in the car? And when they did kill him, was there really a reason to blow up another car load of people after they killed him? If their intelligence was sound they could have walked into the kitchen and taken him. There are drones everywhere in Gaza.

This was probably just a killing ruthless propaganda because the death of yet 2 more hostages was announced.

So two more hostages dead and 8 rescued- nice work Mr Netanyahu we can see your priorities- 78 exchanged by negotiation but don’t let that bother you
