I cannot fathom looking at the rape, torture, murder, sadism, abduction and carnage that happened on 7th October and decide that it was important to say "wait, that bit that they did, that tiny bit, that was legal"

I mean, I like an argument as much as the next person (probably way more in fact), but even I would hesitate to argue the side of Hamas who did all that even if I thought I was right, because winning a technical argument isn't a good enough reason to go simping for terrorists.

It still doesn’t make it right that people are conspiring behind other peoples backs however, or copying posts to another forum. All sounds a bit sinister to me, we should be aware of people who are reporting others to give the right of reply, otherwise you could twist it to any old crap. If you can’t say something up front to the person you have a problem with, you should not say it at all. We are not in school, we are not bullies. I wonder how many people are keeping files of deleted posts, is that not a data protection issue ? This is extremely sinister and vile.

I didn’t start the quibble on hostages vs POWs on this thread. I was similarly dismayed in seeing it when I arrived.

My aim was to finish it and quickly because I agree with you 100%, by posting the legal facts of the situation.

It is unfortunate that certain posters cannot move on to the war crime aspects of this which would be the obvious ill treatment of the POWs. The photos alone show they have been physically beaten and deprived of basic essentials and their rights to human dignity.

Some users have screenshot the worst examples of antisemitic posts on mumsnet before they were deleted or some that were never deleted. These screenshots have not been shared on any threads

The screenshots may be given to the CST so they can see the problem the moderation team are having. Hopefully they can then talk to mumsnet office about more training and help them in anyway they can.
