I haven’t read the whole thread so apologies if I’m repeating things …. But the problem with the term POW is that it legitimises the abduction of these girls and suggests it is within the rules of international law regarding conflict.
There was no conflict until their abduction.
The hostages were not engaged in aggressive acts they were going about their lawful peaceful business.
The hostage takers were terrorists - not a legitimate force engaged in combat.
The poster is distorting language and truth in the use of the term POW

Making excuses or twisting and turning to make what hamas did appear as resistance, as ok, as legitimate seems to be the aim of some apologists.

We already know some people here comphension problems in general. I can't imagine they will understand the difference between a joke and something being real at this point.

To be honest even with joke or sarcasm in brackets some people will still go all conspiracy theories anyway. Luckily the majority of posters with conflicting views do have a sense of humour. However sadly we should probably remember some believe alsorts and our humour is perhaps beyond them

If Hamas are going to talk about "only 4% of Gazens civilians being killed" and Iran are going to say there project is underway. Then frankly even most nutjobs out there can see Gazens have been used as collateral damage by Hamas and Iran
