Documenting Israeli army racism and torture

Desertrose2023 · 15/11/2023 04:25

this thread is to document the racist, criminal and dehumanizing behaviour by the most “moral army in the world” both during its most recent bombardment of Gaza and across decades of military occupation in the West Bank.

to start, here is a video of Israeli soldiers chanting they will turn Gazans into Kebabs.

It's no wonder so many people are questioning the portrayal of hamas (rightly or wrongly) when first and accounts are likely this one

You have got to be fucking kidding me. Some of those hostage children are now being told that their parents and family were murdered that day. One hostage was left with a bullet in their leg for 50 days. Another hostage is now seriously ill in hospital after being denied medication. Some of the hostages are dead.

Right fucking humanitarians those shits are.

whatswrongwiththeworldddd · 27/11/2023 14:19

@Itsaharddlife exactly and when all you're doing is pointing out the difference between the two, you get accused of being pro Hamas

I agree that it’s very upsetting to hear about the children who were released only to be told their parents were dead and missing.

treeees · 27/11/2023 14:41

So sad for any hostage and their family.

In light of this please also remember Palestinian children who are now orphaned, or disabled, having lost arms or legs due to bombing. These figures must be in the thousands already.

Yes of course, and we don’t get to hear their names.

Where did I call them humanitarians??
Just commenting on the difference between hamas and Israel. Or perhaps theres little difference between the two groups.

There's some idiot woman (who may or may not be the sock puppet of a different guy) going viral right now for pretending to be a "body language expert" saying that Mia Regev is actually secretly grateful to her captors and that she would actually be better off staying with Hamas than her father in Israel.

The length people will go to to defend terrorist scum is fucked up.

There is actually a list of names of those killed in Gaza.
Though I don't think Israel has managed to complete complete list of all those killed in the October 7th attack? But then again they're not sure how many there were

The difference is Hamas are a proscribed terrorist group and supporting them is illegal.

Exactly.
Yet Israel can commit atrocities for decades without anyone so much as raising an eye brow.

Fairtobefairohhhhhc · 27/11/2023 11:11

Just awful. I agree that I don't see things improving for Palestinians after this ceasefire.

Take all the time you need, I have been taking breaks too. The constant accusations and derailing are genuinely tiring, it's not worth anyone's mental health to wade through every day. Adding to what is already a deeply distressing situation regardless.

treeees · 27/11/2023 15:56

@Itsaharddlife there is a list of Palestinians killed (many thousands), however, due to press not being allowed in Gaza, we don't see individual news stories on them in the mainstream press, don't see their photos with their names plastered on front pages. We may see references to the odd one on social media, or as a small portion of a report, but the vast majority are still just a name on a list, we don't have a video interview or full report on them. So to see a name on a page in a list of thousands is comparatively anonymous.

They all deserve a front page story. Israeli and Palestinians alike.

Yes, they do.

Yet the leaders of the UK and US are supporting a government which is terrorising Gaza.
Neither deserve support (Hamas and Israeli government that is, all civilians absolutely do).

Yet Israeli is given free rein by us and the US to terrorise the Palestinians, deprive them of basic needs to live - even denying them rain water.

He says hamas gave then medicine, not always successful but tried.

Yet Israel deprives all the people of gaza food fuel and medicine.

It must have been terrifying for the hostages walking down those tunnels not knowing what awaits and whether they'd be killed.

whatswrongwiththeworldddd · 27/11/2023 16:30

I agree it must have been a terrifying experience for them to be kidnapped. Of course no one should be at all. But at least they were treated like humans and taken cared of. I imagine food was scarce and medicine due to the lack of humanitarian aid reaching Gaza. I saw a post from a journalist who said aid isn't reaching the North sadly and it's just in the south.

Yeah, what lovely stand-up kidnapping murderers.

whatswrongwiththeworldddd · 27/11/2023 17:41

Happy to hear the truce has been extended by two days. Let's hope it carries on extending and a ceasefire is agreed upon

noblegiraffe · 27/11/2023 17:48

Treated like humans by being ripped from their parents, or worse, having their parents murdered in front of them then being kidnapped, stuck in a tunnel for 50 days with no contact with their families? Some of them released while their parents are not? Can you see how calling that 'being treated like humans' is just offensive bollocks?

feralunderclass · 27/11/2023 17:54

One of the tragic things about this is that hostage children were safer with terrorists than Palestinian children were in supposedly protected humanitarian zones like hospitals and schools 💔
