Shocked by the racist signs at marches

Maybe I’m just severely naive but I’m honestly just shocked at the levels of racism of some of the signs at these marches. It’s just caught me really, really off guard.

Depends if they still think it is a fun day out, like two ladies where I work. One said her husband was having so much fun he stayed until 9pm. She came home on the underground herself so he could continue.

I am professional so I overheard this a couple of weeks ago but have kept my mouth shut. It is difficult though.

So much easier to deny the truth of the atrocities that are happening daily. Children being burned alive. But let’s keep making frivolous statements and comments so we don’t have to accept the truth

No one has said it's ok that children have been killed. It's horrific however it happens. Why can't we focus on next steps though rather than the needless recycling of emotive 'rubbishagain'

What is happening is that children and adults are used by Hamas as shields. Each casualty is excellent propaganda for Hamas.
Anyhow, what kind of people hide hostages in a hospital and a military headquarters inside and beneath the hospital? Hamas people. They are the ones committing the atrocities. You are denying the truth behind the perpetrators of the atrocities.

Israeli army bombs have been used daily on schools and hospitals and now in the south where Palestinians were told to go. West Bank Palestinians are being killed daily by illegal settlers who are just thieves stealing land and homes. The tunnels were built by Israel in 1983. They know exactly where the tunnels are they are just killing because they want the land.

I suggest that we ignore the derail attempts, they're deliberate. Some people get very uncomfortable indeed with the discussion around anti-Semitism in the UK, which is what this thread is about.

Just been talking on another threadabout protests by British Jewish people at the start of the war. They protested to ask the government to help and to allow Jewish refugees because the government had blocked them

These signs and the behaviour of the protesters is an excellent example of how to stage a protest without hate speech, racism, inciting violence or antisocial behaviour. Some of the protesters currently could learn a thing or too

Protests if not antisocial or threatening outside their offices is fine as far as I am concerned. However their outside their homes is going to far, especially if vandalism or threatening etc.
