Of the 50 journalists on the ground in Gaza (residents) 35 have been killed.

Is this the journalist in northern gaza who was shot in the thigh fracturing his femur but couldn't get to a functioning hospital with surgeons?

I thought the ICJ decision was deeply disappointing but one positive thing is that it’s emboldened others to consider legal action against Israel for its war crimes.

Oh, no. I had been off Instagram for a couple of days and didn't know about this. I am absolutely devastated by this

I believe the petition has gained traction and his abduction has started to get some media attention in Canada where he’s a citizen. Hopefully the pressure will be applied on the government to demand some answers and his safe return.

I really hope so as knowing the horrible disregard they have for journalists is very disturbing. I hope the Canadian government actually does something to try to gain his release... he has risked everything to bring us the truth.

Im not sure where to put this but this seems the more appropriate place to.

It's a news interview about how access into Gaza is restricted and controlled by Israel. It's an interesting watch. I'm not sure if it's been posted on this board before or not but I thought it might be worth a watch.
