Waves at Zinnia I am intrigued by the mollusc/caramel situation... chuck one this way please!

I seem to be skilled at making these naughty snacks in RL too Loopy! Must add it to my CV when I get a moment, in between where it says 'can drink own body weight in wine' and 'makes the best quiche in the world... ever'.

Cazzr · 19/07/2010 21:27

Ok, so the *iatch arrived and dashed my hopes so sulking at the back of the bus.
Got day 2 bloods tomorrow (and will have day 22 ones done on well... day 22). Will at least see if something is wrong in that area..
Was hoping not to have to have them done but hey ho.

Added Zinnia and MrsWill (aswell as me...).

Ah, Cazzr, sorry about that. Hope you're ok.

zinnia, I have a lovely image of you on an open-top Routemaster (even though I don't know what you look like ) grinning like a Cheshire Cat. You get to be the conductor on his days off.

Loopy, I stopped doing legs in the air a while ago. Perhaps I should start again.

When moving round to put legs against the wall, how does one avoid, ahem, a wet patch in the region of the pillow? Am I doing something wrong.

Can't believe I just asked that.

zinnia · 19/07/2010 22:47

Fancy chocolates and pink wine all round ladies, thanks for making me feel so welcome on first day.

Ding ding!

ravenlocks · 19/07/2010 22:58

((Sheepishly puts hand up from indistinct middle area of bus and wonders if she will regret asking this....))

What is preseed?

PrincessBoo · 19/07/2010 23:32

Hello everyone - crazy symptom spotting woman here.

So far - periody type pains and occasional nausea which could also be attributed to being overtired.

Been feeling magnanimous and sleepy in the day. I have a 2 1/2 year old who exhausts me and it's summer.

So all can be explained away.

Prinpo put an (old but clean) towel under your bum before you move? Get your DH to pass it to you when he goes for his post sex ablutions...

PrincessBoo · 19/07/2010 23:37

or is it only my DH who always needs a wee straight after?

ljg72 · 20/07/2010 05:20

Morning all, another symptom...can't sleep!!!!.

Ravenlocks preseed is a sperm freindly lube, supposed to nourish those little swimmers, and help them along?? thought it was worth a shot...tmi- didn't need for the "lube" side of things, but I was sold on the "helping with swimmers" bumpf .

Resisting the urge to test, as almost out of cheapie ebay ones (convinced they are all duff anyway!!!).

Good luck to all, and especially the front passengers who are POAS sooooon ...x

Prinpo · 20/07/2010 07:50

Thanks, Loopy and PrincessBoo, I think I may hold off putting legs in the air for a while longer. I did used to do it and DH found it most unnerving. It's quite a visual reminder of where your mind is at following SWI .

at Princess and the Frog analogy.

Morning all. 9dpo here and getting a bit impatient. Expecting to start feeling a bit premenstrual soon - as soon as I lose my rag for no good reason then I'll know AF will follow in a few days .

Karstan · 20/07/2010 08:32

Right now I'd quite like to suffer from pms, it'd be a nice early warning sign. Normally get absolutely nada. It's the only reason I know cycle length. Af discovered, accompanied by a bit of swearing and thinking it can't possibly be 4 weeks since the last one so I always get the calendar out to check! Sure enough, it's always 4 weeks, time just disappears when you get older.

Lib76 · 20/07/2010 09:05

Morning girls! [waves] Sorry been quiet at back of bus for the past wk but had my in-laws staying so thought me sitting on mumsnet chatting about ttc might give the game away!

Had a great weekend with them which invovled lots of wine and food, which hopefully = a BFP!

can someone add me to the list and i promise i won't hide again!

Mylittlebubble · 20/07/2010 09:39

Morning All.
Just realised Dh is away whilst I will be Ov'ing So must get a couple of SWI in tonight and tomorrow then keep my fingers crossed I suppose.

I haven't even ov'd yet (I think) and already sympton spotting! Funny taste in month and tired and ratty in the morning! Get a grip woman! I tell myself I am casual about the whole thing and won't do it.

Good tip PrincessBoo I haven't done the legs in the air this time around but will get to it now.

delilahbelle · 20/07/2010 10:37

prinpo I totally agree with the pmt thing. When dh breathing fills me with rage I know af is on the way. And on a sadder note, it was the first thing that happened, even before spotting, on my two chem pregs.
Still very even tempered here, and now only have one week left to wait. Although I will prob end up testing way sooner.
Hi to every one else, updating from my phone so no personals.

zinnia · 20/07/2010 10:39

I did legs in the air in fancy hotel this weekend - but only after DH had gone into the bathroom, didn't want to freak him out too much!

Was v comfy though, nice big padded headboard.

saffronbun · 20/07/2010 10:59

I did legs in the air last time round and also had to save it for when DH had gone to the bathroom as I thought he might think I was nuts.

Am currently doing highly-secretive POAS with the ovulation stick thingies in the hope that I can then jump him on the correct days - without making it look too much like it's all planned with military precision!

It's so romantic. NOT. Loopy that's sound advice on the pillow vs towel, I shall bear it in mind

Prinpo · 20/07/2010 11:58

delilah, . I know lots of us have had them and we just get on with it but mcs are so very sad. (God, does that get an award for most obvious statement on a Tuesday?)

zinnia, legs in the air in a fancy hotel - what a girl .

Out of interest, how long do all you keep them up for? (And how long do your dps stay in the bathroom for???)

zinnia · 20/07/2010 12:14

Believe me, two nights in fancy hotel sans dd was total grown up heaven. Only 2nd weekend away without her, and she's 2 next week!

On a more basic note, got bored with legs in the air after a few minutes, padded headboard notwithstanding, so gave up long before DH came out of the shower (this was in the morning, which I feel I can share as there's clearly no such thing as TMI on the bus).

Zidonie · 20/07/2010 12:58

Hi,
I'm going to squeeze ,myself in the middle of the bus. Just decided that I wanted to TTC this months. I'm on cycle #10 and am starting to feel blasée about the highs and mostly lows of TTC so sitting on the the bus with you all will be much needed fun.

Lib76 · 20/07/2010 14:03

Hi zidonie thanks for adding me, looking like a busy bus! I am still going to SWI for a couple of more days to give it our best shot!

stuffedmk · 20/07/2010 14:50

Am feeling like AF is on her way....me thinks this is a short cycle and she will be here by the weekend. Am trying to tell myself the heavy womb feeling could be implantation or something but I am not optimistic this month.

Will be charting again next month so I now where I am!

delilahbelle · 20/07/2010 15:10

Don't give up stuffedmk It's not over until AF arrives...

As for me - still minor tummy niggles, but I am half convinced they are pyschosomatic. Funny taste in my mouth has gone - it was the end of my cold. Boobs sore and veiny though.
7 days to go...
