Hello ladies, after a mammoth 47 day cycle hoping for a December baby, today is once again CD1 for me.

If all goes to plan this month my EDD would be Jan 30th so I thought I'd start the February bus as a positive step forward.

Am fully expecting to be on my own for a while but do come and sit beside me for the journey if you feel the need......

Not sure if i'm eligible for this thread, as i still have the Mirena coil in.. so might be too late?
I am very very broody... and would love to be 'ttc', but a part of me wonders if its because all 3 of my best friends are pregnant, the other 2 are ttc and both my sister and sister-in-law are both pregnant.
I have a DS 34 months & DD 15 months - so my husband says we have a nice balance and will have a better quality of life and more time/energy/money for the 2 we've got. But I love being a mummy and don't feel like our family is complete - what shall i do? Sorry if this should be on a number 3 thread?

Rockbird · 09/05/2010 22:33

I think that I'd be more likely to regret the child I didn't have, than the child I did IYSWIM. But there are so many things that go into the mix. I'd be honest with DH and tell him how I felt. It needs discussion if you still feel like you're not finished.

pinefarmpooperscooper · 09/05/2010 22:51

Thanks Rockbird.. i would never regret! As for DH he just does what he's told... which is a bit annoying because when i asked him this weekend, he said, just go and get it taken out? When i try and make him think about it, he says, he thinks i will always want another, and when will i stop?
I just can't believe what a hard decision it is, and so many other things that are affected by it.. - It was easy to decide on DS & DD, because we wanted a baby and we wanted him to have a brother sister.. this time seems such a bigger decision?

pinefarmpooperscooper · 09/05/2010 22:52

Not a hope of getting on the feb bus anyway :-(

Bensmum76 · 10/05/2010 06:58

Hi all, I am just hopping over from the January bus as AF got me this weekend. was hoping it was Implantation bleeding but not looking so good now. I do have a question, if thats ok. My cycle last month was 8 weeks and around 7 - 10 days before I got what I believe to be ovulation pain; pain low in my abdomen, pain when sitting down, and felt exhausted. I had it again this month and my cycle has gone to 6 weeks now. I was wondering if this is ovulation pain and I am getting my AF only a week later is this not good for getting pregnant?

oiseau · 10/05/2010 11:04

pinefarm - start another thread about number 3 and I'll come and talk to you there. I have just had my mirena out to have number 3 and it has taken me a good 18mths to make my mind up and wish I had taken the plunge earlier - the broodiness and indecision just wouldn't go away. Still think I might be mad though!!

decafgirl · 10/05/2010 13:33

Hi - just dashing in TMI warning...just been to look and noticed pink, blood streaked mucus...is this good news? My temp dipped this morning. I can't work out if I should be panicking that it's a v early period or secretly excited as it's implantation!!

What would you do??????

OP posts:
Rockbird · 10/05/2010 13:50

I would secretly do a little cartwheel if I'm honest...although I would try not to get my hopes up. What have you, another week before testing? Tricky...

decafgirl · 10/05/2010 13:59

Oh..... xxxx

OP posts:
Rockbird · 10/05/2010 14:09

Only a very tiny cartwheel, and in a dark corner where no one could see me But if you have a cycle of up to 34 days and this is day 22 or whatever then it's unlikely to be AF?

But then what do I know?

Orchid12 · 10/05/2010 14:37

Decaf: temp dip is a good sign!!! How many DPO are you?

I have to admit to being bored at the mo. Not got anything happening TTC wise until next week so feels like I'm just wishing the week (and my life) away! DH just phoned to say he is now working away next Wed which is technically the start of the SWI - grrr. Something always seems to crop up at the crucial times . Roll on next week!

decafgirl · 10/05/2010 14:38

I do have a cycle of 34 days and today is CD22 and I've never ever ever had a cycle shorter than 33 days.....

OP posts:
banana87 · 10/05/2010 14:41

What is UCL? If its usual cycle length I am 28-29 days.

CD 10 today.

I dont usually do ov predictor tests but I was in Tesco earlier so decided to try. Came home and took it and there is a line, but its lighter than the control line. It says in the instructions this is a negative result. Would it however mean that I could be getting ready to ov? Would there be no line if I was no where near?

We are bd'ing tonight, Wed night, Fri night, Sat am (I am so romantic, huh?) although I havent told DH this info as I know it can put men off. Off on hols Sat pm so fingers crossed I ov either on or before Sat!!!

Congrats to all the BFP's and babydust to everyone getting ready to ovulate! And fingers crossed to those of you getting ready to test!

milanomum · 10/05/2010 16:59

oh and to decaf!

milanomum · 10/05/2010 17:01

Actually, I just clicked that I'm on day 8... I suppose that means I've only got a few boring days left after all!

pinefarmpooperscooper · 10/05/2010 19:34

oiseau - haven't ever started a thread before! Bit new to all this.. so i will be back in a bit (kids still not in bed!) to chat, thanks!

decafgirl · 10/05/2010 20:31

Making a real effort not to tell DH about today's findings....I don't want to get his hopes up but it's definately not AF (so far, touch wood!!) and I've had a little cramping on and off all day.

I didn't get an implantation bleed with DS so if that's what it is, it's all new to me. I kind of wish I had someone in RL to obsess with chat to. I'm not due to test until the 20th or 21st - that's ages away!

Oh God, I hope I'm pg Am going to be crushed if AF arrives! I am officially RIDICULOUS!!

OP posts:
debka · 10/05/2010 21:21

Ooo good luck decafgirl. I'm just hanging about waiting to SWI, it's boring all this waiting, isn't it, milanomum. I'm on Day 7 so not too much longer now!

debka · 10/05/2010 21:22

when will you start SWIing milanomum? (is that too personal a question???!!!???)

smallblackflowers · 11/05/2010 08:12

Debka - I'm on CD9 today, generally ovulate round about CD18, so will start the SWI about CD13 - will also start my ov sticks on that day, ~I guess you'll start sooner though as your cycle is shorter than mine

sunchild77 · 11/05/2010 10:08

Hello all, just popping in to say hi, and that Im on day 10 today and usually Ovulate early so will SWIing very soon
Exciting, hope everyone is getting on well!

debka · 11/05/2010 11:08

Not sure this month, milanomum, as AF was a week late last time, so a bit confused. Will be looking out for EWCM (yuk!) Unfortunately DH is a miserable git and never wants to SWI or without I!

boba82 · 11/05/2010 11:14

Hello

Could someone add me to your bus please? Finally got AF today after nightmare 64 day cycle . .
