Hello ladies, after a mammoth 47 day cycle hoping for a December baby, today is once again CD1 for me.

If all goes to plan this month my EDD would be Jan 30th so I thought I'd start the February bus as a positive step forward.

Am fully expecting to be on my own for a while but do come and sit beside me for the journey if you feel the need......

Purplefan as someone else said on MN recently, very possibly on this thread, it aint over til the fat lady sings. Presuming that fat lady is called Flo I think you should keep hoping til AF arrives... you never know, your HCG levels may not have been high enough on Tuesday to show up as a BFP...

delilahbelle · 20/05/2010 16:56

Purplefan testing again sounds like a good idea.. but I am a POAS addict.

CD25 today, another BFN, then an evap line to tease me when I pulled it out the bin for another look. Dammit, unsanitary and stupid, must this behaviour.

No doubt I'll be testing again tomorrow.

patienceplease · 20/05/2010 17:13

Another giving in to POAS here - did yesterday - BFN
but my UCL has been more like 32 recently, (am 30 now) so might try agin tomorrow. It was a tescos cheapie - are they less likely to tell you early?
Trying not to give into POAS today. but realllly want a BFP....
Haven't been charting this at all - think if not PG this month then might try starting that.
And random symptom spotting - I've been having really vivid (sometimes erotic ) dreams the last few days...???
And am quite weepy - but that could be PMT.

Rockbird · 20/05/2010 18:14

Oh it's getting really frustrating now Yesterday I was convinced I was, now I'm not. Today is the first day that I POAS and thought I might get a result but nada. And I wasted a digital test.

percy1979 · 20/05/2010 18:24

I've done just my first pregnancy test and got the magic two lines!! Due date is 29th Jan, but realistically Feb 2011!! [grin}

Hi all - congrats to Moulefrites and Percy, wow im only away a few days and there are two already!

Nothing exciting happening here at the moment, might have a little test tomorrow as will be 9/10 dpo (thaats if i actually ov'ed) Fingers crossed i suppose, was really feeling confident this month as i have had the odd niggly AF type pain but today i dont know why i am thinking that i probably am not pg - will be glad to get the weekend over with testing-wise as if i dont test postive by Sunday then i dont think that this is my lucky month.

Tested again this am & got another BFN - bum diddy bum bum bum!!! Will wait until AF is due before I do it again.

Rockbird · 21/05/2010 08:38

Same here. One month in and I'm totally obsessed by POAS No more tests for me till Monday now . Feel really yucky though and having work done in the house and going on holiday in a week. So I'll be glad when I know for sure one way or another as it'll clear a bit of space in my head!

GinaFB · 21/05/2010 10:22

Huge Congrats Percy!!! What great news!

When should I start testing? I am only 7 DPO and I'm itching to POAS!!

Purplefan · 21/05/2010 11:49

Hi all,
Well I used a CB digital this morning and it clearly stated "Not Pregnant!" so thats me told
Still no AF, however this is not the first time that my she has gone AWOL! So body is now playing tricks on me again
Hope the rest of you are ok.

8rubberduckies · 21/05/2010 12:57

Sorry to hear that Purplefan, it's very frustrating... when do you think you ovulated?

I am, still doing my temps, even though I've been getting disheartened because of all the info about it not being reliable if you have PCOS, and when I entered this morning's temp it's now told me that I definitely ovulated on Tuesday, just after my 2-day cramping episode. We SWI'd on Monday night, so fingers crossed... It's just depressing that the time I should test keeps getting pushed back.

I will echo GinaFB's question of when is the earliest you should POAS and expect a true result? I used to just do it when my period was due when I had regular cycles, but that is not an option for me anymore.

debka · 21/05/2010 13:29

8rubberduckies you said you USED to have regular cycles- do you know why they are so irregular now? Have you only recently developed PCOS?

GinaFB · 21/05/2010 13:45

OK so I caved even though I knew it was too early I POAS and surprise surprise BFN....

8rubberduckies I think 7 DPO is too early...... According to the CB tests I bought they can be used up to 6 days before AF so I am going to have another go on Monday....

bzzbee · 21/05/2010 14:35

Hello can I join the bus please?

ttc#2 cycle 1 UCL 28 CD27

I'm fairly new to all this (#1 was neither planned nor prevented if you know what I mean) but have already found this thread & forum invaluable.

8rubberduckies · 21/05/2010 15:22

bzbee hello! Wishing you lots of luck on the bus!

debka with PCOS, the symptoms, such as not ovulating all the time / irregular cycles, can come and go, depending on the direction of the wind it seems sometimes . It is caused by hormonal changes, so after I stopped breastfeeding ds my AF was pretty regular for a few months, but went wonky pretty much as soon as we started SWI . Also, the symptoms can be helped by losing weight / other lifestyle changes, so I have had periods on and off where I have had regular cycles, sadly not now though [another sad face emoticon].

I was officially diagnosed in 2007, and had two AFs a couple of months after I was diagnosed, which is when I luckily conceived my wonderful son, who I treasure; he was so unexpected after being told 4 months before I conceived him I may never have children!!! Looking back though, I think I have suffered from PCOS for a lot longer, as I have had irregular AFs since I was a teenager on and off, and started exhibiting other side effects, such as piling on the pounds very easily and developing facial hair, in my early twenties.

(Gosh, I'm really painting myself as being very attractive there aren't I ? ). Hope that answers some of your questions

decafgirl · 21/05/2010 15:40

Ooh, ooh, ooh!!! Had a positive OPK yesterday and have finally (so sick of rumaging! ) got some EWCM today so back to SWI for me - not sure I can keep up the facarde of it being SFF!!

DH not in till late tonight but I'm still in with a chance this month aren't I? AREN'T I??!!

Rockbird · 21/05/2010 16:31

If you're quick! Cut to the chase, no messing

delilahbelle · 21/05/2010 17:03

decafgirl get SWI! we donn't want to see you on here again tonight

Am having a stress here... CD26, tested with admitted quite weak pee (TMI, sorry)
and got a line at 9 and half bloody minutes. Test invalid at ten minutes.

Is it an evap line? I had the test in bright sun, so things would prob have dried off faster. Is it a BFP? Doubtful, I feel nothing like I did when pregnant before, although that ended very early.

One more cheap test to do tomorrow AM, and if that looks even the slightest bit positive I will be going out and buying a CBD.

Would appreciate any advice... or a slap to tell me to pull myself together
