Hi, I am 29, been trying on and off for last 6 mnths or so for number 3, I have a dd, nearly 9, and a ds aged 3, who is disabled, I also have suffered 3 mc's, anyone else wanna join me in my journey???

Period started 14th April and curently on CD 5 and BD'd today, so the rollercoaster begins

I seem to have been taking them for about a year

Aw, I was like tht too when trying for Jack...6 mnths of taking folic acid xx

so has anyone been symptom spotting yet i have.

I'm not quite at the symptom spotting stage yet, not sure if I've even ovulated yet even though I'm on CD18.

This has been my first month charting and I'm so-o-o-o confused

I am normally VERY regular (28 day cycle), so DH & I have been SWIing since last Tuesday. Got a positive OPK on Friday but temps havent done anything distinctive. Don't know if we should call it a day for this month or keep going. Kept using the OPKs which kept giving a positive result until this morning (negative this afternoon).

Had some bad news on Friday which has stressed me out over the weekend, and I know stress can delay OV, but can it so late in the day (ie after +OPK)?

I'm with you there ifatfirst my first month charting, im usually at 27 day girl but my last period was 31 from a early MC the month before.

So i thought i would try the OPK and finished my period saturday and got a positive Tuesday straight after till Thursday then it went negative, so we done the deed all week and stopped on Sunday.

I do know that you coulnt the 1st day you got a postive and do the deed that day and 3 days after as the "surge" means the egg is comming and usually does 12-32 hours after you get your first positive (hope that makes sense)

So if im right in thinking i got my surge tuesday so assuming mine was wednesday has i had pain in side etc so i should be 7dpo, cd17.

But im all confussed my slef as i have (sorry tmi) lots of white discharge and cramps , am i now ovulating or what ahhhh, if i am ive missed it as im def not in any mood to be making babies libido has all of a sudden gone!!

Stress can def delay ov, but if you have had a positive go with that just take it from the first day you got a positive and few days after.

peaonastick.com is brilliant have a look online there, they explain all about surges etc.

We sound like we are roughly die af same time? mine is 15th may hope it doesnt come.

Had a look at that POAS site which really helped Apparently it is possible to get a +OPK and then something like stress can put off the egg release. It seems as though I just have to be patient.

Roll on 15th of May eh? (That's when I should be due too - providing I havent been delayed too much).

I am due on actually 12th may girls, did a test ths morning ( too early right?!) Couldn't help it!! BFN, n I too dunno if av ovulated either...., we have only bd'd like 4 times, so maybe not holding out much hope...xx

ifatfirst yep im so crazy lol symptom sptting loads, lots of low shooting pains, lots of discharge, and very slight sore boobs

yes roll on 15th, i doubt ill wait till then i already did one this morning to caija oop's. i have bought a load of cheapies of ebay so they are asking ti be used lol.

Also caija it only takes once and sperm lives for 5 days so fingers crossed.

I've had some really weird symptoms, AF due Mon 10th so not long to go now. I had some implantation bleeding ??? (I hope) last week and have been feeling nauseous and dizzy since last weekend.
I have been taking folic acid for 5 months now in preparation - I did have some lightheaded when I first started on these, has anyone else had any side effects from Folic Acid? X

Do you usually have a slight bleed inbetween periods? if not i would say that is one big sign

Hey girls! Hw are u all? Ok, it's 6 days til AF due and a have POAS, eBay cheap one, think maybe a VERY VERY faint pos, pls no one congratulate me cos av bn wrong so many times in the past... Maybe ma eyes are deceiving me, am so scared to think anything, cos av thot it before with these tests, ths is torture xxxx

Did another 2 tests, nthn on them, so am just gonna wait....ths is SHIT xx

Hi xkatyx - no I don't normally have bleeds between my periods, so I'm so desperately hopeing this is it.

caija - I just can't stand the waiting either, it is driving me insane, I have decided that I am going to test on Wednesday morning as AF is due on Monday...that is assuming AF doesn't arrive Monday. XXX

Thought i would post as i'm having a down day where i think i'm not pregnant and it's really getting me down.. 1 and half a day to go it's dragging.

What happens in one & a half days, AF due?

I have been kindly told by fertility friend that I did actually ovulate. I am now apparenly 5DPO - symptom spotting, here we come!

Any more symptoms xkatyx ?

Oh brilliant, i wish someone would tell me when i ovulated im sure it was early this month. let the symptoms commence

Ermmmm i have a headache? and have been non stop eating? also a bit of a runny nose lol prob just a cold comming or something.

how many days are you past ovulation? any symptoms?

Don't want to add to your carried-awayness, but I belive a runny or stuffy nose is an actual symptom.

I'm aparently 5 days post Ov, so a bit behind you now. No symptoms yet, although nips have been a bit tender , and I'm sat here getting cramping sensations - could just be a dodgy tummy!

I'll start getting cramps in my fingers too if I keep on crossing them!

Oh how exciting, that sounds promising.

No i dont have a clue about charting as its my first month trying just thought we would try the ov sticks for now.

If you temp slightly rises is that good, i heard it could be so i took it the other day and it was 35.1 and today it was 36.3 so im not sure about that as i have never done it.

Oh me too fingers well and truely crossed for everyone.

Nope i feelm grumpy and a tad close to tears because i dont think i am

everyone i speak to say they had sore boobs when early pregnant .. mine arent hurting well unless you count proding them so much to see if they hurt [confussed]

ohhhhh deppressing.

It's still early days - you never know.

If it makes you feel any better, I got PG in Feb/March and I didnt get sore or swollen boobs at all but I still got a BFP!

I've had a bit of heartburn yesterday which I also got first time round, but I'm more inclined to think it was due to the amount of chillies DH put in Thursday night's tea.

I've had wierd cramping off and on yesterday & today - that too may be the effects of Thursday's meal though haha!
