Anyone wanna join my TTC thread???!!!

Hi, I am 29, been trying on and off for last 6 mnths or so for number 3, I have a dd, nearly 9, and a ds aged 3, who is disabled, I also have suffered 3 mc's, anyone else wanna join me in my journey???

Period started 14th April and curently on CD 5 and BD'd today, so the rollercoaster begins

I uesd those internet ones, and so did my sister i never got a bfp on them at all, i really dont like them.

The tesco ones and asda ones are brilliant give the best lines.

Thank you, fingers and toes are crossed for you, i too thought i was out this month, to be honest did not think at all i was pregnany if it wasnt for my poas addiction i wouldnt of tested at all.

hmmpph... not going to bother testing, am 100% convinced that this isnt my month, so am just waiting for AF to show.

28 days will be on Friday (which is average for me), however fertility friend reckoned I should have been due on today?!?!?

If AF doesnt show by the weekend then I may be swayed into thinking that there is a very small chance!

Have any symtoms developed now that you are officially preggers?

well i still dont feel preggars at all, and still woundering if i saw lines that wernt there, so got hubby to buy me another test and yep its dark and there.

im calm in the fact that last time my lines didnt get darker but pooping myself cause i have little aches.

omg well done for the self restraint i tested every day 1. because for some reason un like some i wanted to know if i was going to have a chemical pregnany I.E if there was a faint line then went (like last time) as if i kept happening i would want to know why.

Which alot of people didn understand why i wanted to know that, but i suppose everyone is diffrent.

and 2. im a poas addict!!

Good luck i'll be on everyday routing for you and waiting to see your happy news.

xkatyx so glad you are going to stay with us, it has given me some hope that it can really happen.

I am due to start testing with some internet OPK today, although I wouldn't really be surprised if I don't get any +ves as I didn't get anything on a predictor kit I bought last month.

Just started temping, I am getting 35.8 and 36.2 for the last 5 days, and I think my temp should go up by half a degree post ovulation, so we'll see.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed I have my fingers crossed for you.

Caija are you close to testing?

I didnt have a clue about temp's or anything but started just taking my temp every morning same time and noticed it was going up from 36.5 to 37.0 which i am now. that was a week ago i started.

Yes it can happen and it will.

I used the inbternet cheapie opk's there brilliant.

Well, I am really confused now, and need some advice:

AF was due Tuesday according to fertility friend, and due today (28 days which used to be normal for me). NO SIGN!!!

I've written off all previous symptoms as sure they were all in my head, but I've been really tired & grumpy for the last 2 weeks and today I've been getting a really dry mouth & throat which I did when I got pg in Feb.

Here's the problem - DH is away until Sunday so really really want to stay away from the tests (don't fancy telling him over the phone if it's a positive). AAARRRGGGGHHHHH

I'm so close to running upstairs and destroy the two tests I have just so I'm not tempted!

Further prob - If I avoid testing and am pg, I'm supposed to be going out for drinks with my Mother on Saturday. Do I drink, Don't I????? If I don't she'll ask why, and I really want to tell DH first!!

I would test, if you are think of a special way to tell him, hold off till fathers day? or put in a box and say u have a present for him. or if he wants to be there just make out you havent tested.

I don't want to test cos if it's + I will have to explain to my Mam why I'm not knocking back 10 gallons of wine as I normally do, and I really want DH to be the first to know.

I'm just going to have to play ignorant, wait for AF to show and test on Sunday when DH gets home!

AF was due yesterday, no sign and I'm NEVER late, symptoms have really taken off - queasy feeling, starving, knackered, thirsty, headache, emotional, I cried at the world cup opening ceremony

Temps have also started going back up, and a feeling of "I just know"

Have spoken to DH and he's made me promise not to test until he gets back on Sunday, much to the annoyance of my mate, who's been screaming down the phone at me. She even asked me if I would test, and give it to her to look at, just so she can know before Sunday

I'm at my Mam & Dad's now, with no tests in the house (well I hope not anyway hahaha) so there's no temptation!

Keep everything crossed for me.........

Well,no need for the test tomoz, AF got me this morning.

I am absolutely gutted, more so than any other month as I was so sure.

Havent been able to speak to DH yet to tell him, shouldnt have said anything to get his hopes up.

Oh well[sigh]

No, deff AF - really bad cramps, heavy red bleeding.

Might do a test anyway to see if it was a CP as I certainly didnt imagine those symptoms!

At least I can enjoy a nice glass of wine now

Oh im sorry, i really thought that this was your month!!!

No you cant imagine all those symptoms , do a test asap.

For what it's worth i have heard of loads of people have bleeds like that and be pregnant, infact i was just watching on the health programe a programe called"pregnant and didnt know it" and they all had periods etc, i also had perios with my son and didnt find out till i was about 8-9 weeks.

really gutted for you IfAtFirstUDontSucceed
I am getting really frustrated with the ovulation strips, they just don't seem to be working for me...ahhh.
I have decided that if I don't get a positive result on them this month then I'm going to the GP to see if I can convince her to do a hormone test on me, I can't stand the thought of keep trying for a year only for them to find something out later down the line.

How's everything going xkatyx ? have you told many people

I would suggest going to the docs ASAP. How long have you been trying? How ever long it is, double it - LIE!!

My doc told me not to go back for a YEAR after my MC in March - no chance! There is obviously something wrong as we've been TTC for 3 years. Time to stand up for myself and not be fobbed off!

Hi IfAtFirstUDontSucceed, glad you are feeling better, , how long do you think you are going to wait until going back?

I'm am definately going to book my appointment after this cycle is over. It is just getting me so frustrated that nothing seems to be happening. I just have this awful image of the doc's saying oh yeah, you couldn't possibly get pg as your hormones aren't right, after a year of trying. just seems like a waste of time.

We have been trying since last December, so I know it is no where near long enough, but I do have acne which is normally controlled by the pill, so obviously I have stopped taking the pill (about 9 months ago) and all my spots have come back and this is getting me down too...OMG sorry for going on so much.
