Hi, I am 29, been trying on and off for last 6 mnths or so for number 3, I have a dd, nearly 9, and a ds aged 3, who is disabled, I also have suffered 3 mc's, anyone else wanna join me in my journey???

Period started 14th April and curently on CD 5 and BD'd today, so the rollercoaster begins

how strange IAFUDS, you were early like me too. i dont know where too count tuesday ad day 1 or today as my flow is heavier?.
If i type my cycle in on the ovulation predictor that means im ovulating tommrow? but im still on AF

Im not taking any notice of DH i will carry on with what im doing if he wants to stop then we will have to discuss it more, but for now i'll continue as I was.

We BD'd everyday too just dont know what went wrong

Aw Katy am soo sorry, am still gettin BFN!, and not unusual for my AF to be late unfortunately, I am now 2 days late, and 12 days since last time we bd'd, which was on the 2nd...keep telling myself "Oh maybe it's just not showing up yet" but I know in my heart my AF will be here prob tmrw, defo I think by Sunday..., so shit hey? xx

Aw Katy seen yr previous post bout yr dh, don't worry too much, me and my dp sometimes have tht talk, as he worries about hw I will cope etc after a baby comes, because Jack is ill, and I have suffered severe PND with both kids, but my broodiness and desire for one more bubba overtakes it all, and I think my kids would benefit from another, my nearly 9 yr old dd always asks when we are having another lol, and Jack would maybe be brought on with a baby learning new things and stuff, plus there wouldn't be a big age gap between a new baby and Jack, but obv with my dd there would be quite a gap...plus I am 30 in Jan and still wanna b a young mummyxx

My DH has said the same thing too, I'm 31 next month and he's 37 and we're trying for our FIRST. I can tell it gets to him, he's paranoid that he's going to be an old dad, and I'm getting paranoid that my fertility is dwindling

It's so difficult to think about how many kids we'd want as it's such hard work trying to have one!

xkatyx have you tried fertilityfriend.com, even if you don't temp you can still log all your other signs (OPK, CM etc) and it'll tell u your fertile days. You will also be able to tell it your symptoms in your 2WW.
It should tell you when your first cycle day was this month too.

I'm just so cofussed ifatfirst i am usually a 28 regular girl, but i had a early mc then my cycle was 32 days then this month 22 days, and apparently i should be ovulating today but im on a heavy period flow now .. i honestly could just cry

I will give the fertility friend a go now i think see how it works etc.

DH seams to be all appologectic this morning, even took his vitamin so i dont know, im just so hormonal and upset just dont know what to do with myself today.

Are we all feeling a bit more positive today?

Yep alot more positive, hubby said that he only said what he did because he didnt want me to feel under pressure, so thats made me feel more happier.

Hubby has started vitamins, we have looked at all sorts on the internet, postions, times etc, so ready and waiting for next round.

Does anyone know if it's possible to ovulate whilst being on your period? on my chart it said i would ovulate yesterday but im on my af?

TBH I can't help with your OV Q. What makes you think that you ov'd yesterday? Do youtake your temps?

when i typed in my cycle on the online caculator it said yesterday, also got a pain in my side hmmmmm, i dont have a clue about temps etc, can u use an ear thermometer?

Hmmmmm, I probably wouldnt trust that . Didnt you say yourself that AF was early this month?
Are you normally very regular?
Do you do anything else to predict ov? (OPK, checking CM etc?)

I'm usualy a 28 exact girl always have been, but i had a very early MC back in march and since then last month i was 32 and this month 22 days.

Im going to use the opk sticks, i did them last month so i dont understand how we missed it

I had an early MC in March. I'm normally 28 days, but was 27 last month, with a late ov day!

I was convinced that last month was THE month as we tried really hard - if you know what I mean!

We went for the everyday approach this month cant believe it didnt work, we have been so luck that with both dc we fell first time, also with the early mc forst time, so im a little worried to why, sounds so daft i know.

did it take you long to concieve before?

I'm really confused over the online ov. calculators, it said that I would be ovulating between Sunday and Tuesday, but I'm using OPK and still no :-) perhaps this is just going to be a random month where I don't ovulate. XX

xkatyx we've been trying for about 3 years (about a year and a half just no using contraception and a years & a half activley trying)

GP referred us to a fertility specialist in February who lined up a load of tests, unbeknown to me while we were sat in his office I was actually PG!!
Spoke to him after the MC and he said that there were no need for the tests now as the pregnancy proved that we both worked, and to come back in a YEAR if theres still no bambino!
A WHOLE FLIPPIN YEAR!!!! We are back to square one!

Have you had all the usual blood test's etc, i ask as my friend has been trying for her baby for 10 months and gp did blood tests and she had a thyroid prob, got it sorted and she got her BFP last month

ijceb, i wouldn't worry to much about the stick's it could be you ovulated in the afternoon and the sticks didn't pick it up as you tested a diffrent time, i would follow your own body or i have been given the advice of try every other day , that way partners sperm is in full supply healthy and there is bound to be some sperm about when the egg comes.

Yep, had thyroid & 21 day blood test done (checking progesterone levels) and they were both fine.
DH had tests done, he was fine too.

Was due to have a further blood test, and then a swab (can't remember what for) and then he was going to put us on track for IVF which would have happend later this year.

Now, have to wait until at least Feb next year, before we can start all that again

We did the deed in the afternoon AND the evning for two days before I got a positive OPK and then once the day after, other than that, a pretty normal month.

I think it may have been the "bum in the air" action afterwards that did it - I didn't bother with that last month!!!

oh yes the butt in the air got me pregnant all 3 times on the first months.

i also read a small glass of pineapple juice aday whilst trying NOT on 2ww wait, is supposed to be good, that and grean tea im drinking the lot

me and my dh have 3 ds and want 2 try for a dd. we started tryin last month my af was due friday and hasnt shown up. took 3 hpt got bfn on all. im so confused

yh regular as clockwork. i duno wen i ovulated its normally cd 14. well i feel sick have done 4 the last 5 days and my breasts r really tender and i fell bloated

Thanks for the advice xkatyx I have decided to give up on the OPK's and just go back to BD every couple of days.

OMG - IfAtFirstUDontSucceed what you've been through seems so unfair. I don't know how you have managed to wait as long as you have.
