OV calc says due date would be 31st Dec but didn't want to be on my own at the bottom of the Dec bus. Am on cycle 3 of proper trying as dp not been as willing to DTD knowing he HAS to impregnate me .

i have just got my 1st positive ovulation test on cd 18 have been swi since last thurs so am hoping 2 catch this egg, & after last month hope its a sticky egg if i do manage 2 catch it (grin)

Specialsmasher, I'm on a mac too and had to experiment. Try alt 3 - worked on mine.

ImpatientHove Im on a 28 - 30 day cycle but i count two days from my positve OPK. I got the positive on Weds 14th so i assumed i oved last Thurs 15th making Friday 1dpo, You got your first positive opk on the same day as me so if i were you id assume you either oved on Thursday or Friday making you either 4/5 dpo

Last month i tested and got a postive 7dpo - 9 days after my positive opk, perhaps i oved on the day of the positive opk but i still got a positive on a very very concentrated urine sample (held across the day for nearly 8 hours) on 7/8 dpo (although i suspect it was day 8) I dont want to find out this early this month so will be doing a test on Sunday which means i will be 10/11 dpo and not too far away from AF if it comes.

I wish i wasnt counting every day but i am - cant wait to know either way like everyone else i suppose, there is a February thread already for those ladies with longer cycles - if i get my AF on time my lo will be due on DS 2nd birthday (although because of my diabetes it would be two weeks earlier so in January) it seems like such a long way away.

Rosie I think you are probably right re. my ov dates. Time is dragging! I have been debating whetehr to test today which is obviously ridiculous but I can't help thinking about it! Like you, cannot wait to find out... but we MUST be patient!!

We've been trying for our elusive third for over two years now (on cycle 4 after 2nd mc) so I've given up testing every month - I just wait until AF turns up. Perhaps I should tot up how much I'm saving on tests and go shopping...

Sorry AF got you aideesmum. I am now on CD 32 and still no symptoms of anything - getting a bit frustrated! Will test again at weekend if no AF shows up.

CD32 sounds good, crumblequeen. Fingers crossed.

Does anyone else have painful ovulation? I thought I'd got away lightly this month but I must have ovulated late as yesterday afternoon the pain kicked in and was bad enough to wake me up about 5 times in the night. It's still really uncomfortable this morning. It's worse than any period pain I've ever had and happens most months, although this month has been particularly bad. Just wondered if others had the same.

Hope everyone's well this morning. Any news from those due to POAS?

Hoping this s my month but the monitor says no and cd 14 for me. Thinking of buying some normal opk's to double check. This is my 5th cycle so it's not panic time but I am frustrated I am not even going to test this mont and just going to see if as comes which she did 3 days early last month
