Hi All

Queen - glad you're feeling better, and well done with the self-restraint!

Welcome FourofFour- virtual slap winging your way,

Lou - glad you're feeling nice and positive. When do you get the results of your tests?

GLB - lol at the four pee sticks - can sympathise!

Well, no AF and I have been mightily restrained and NOT POAS since the weekend. I am testing tomorrow morning with my clearblue as there is no way it woldn't show up by then. Still sore boobs, still smelling things, still sicky. Just wish I could either get BFP or AF!

liahgen66 · 10/03/2010 20:10

well I am officially pissed off now. STILL no bloody period, 41 days post erpc. Aggggahhhh

Went to docs and have had blood dome for some clotting disorder, he thinks 4 mc is too many so cos of my geraitric older status he is doing referrals sooner rather than later which is good.

Have to go get progesterone asap if I get preggers and if not then back 3 wks for results of this blood.

queen glad you're feeling better, do you know what the test was he ordered? somthing beginning with H? (durr)

Back to more bloody sex tonight, Whe I finally get pregnant, I am never having sex again, it's boring boring boring!!!

LittleSilver · 10/03/2010 20:17

Liah you fo officially get a year off you know. It' official (my MiL told me so!!!)

Wholelotta, good luck for tomorrow (you are very restrained and very Grown Up to be so restrained!)

yes that's it, thrombo something, tried to remember it but obviously failed

How are you doing?

queenoftheslatterns · 10/03/2010 20:52

ah, not too bad. period is due on saturday so playing the waiting game now. but ds has been moved up into top group for both maths and reading at school, which is FAB!! especially given that a month ago teacher was worried that he was really behind!

Wholelottalove · 10/03/2010 22:02

Thanks for good wishes everyone, but AF has just arrived Oh well, at least I know and don't go through the horrible seeing BFN tomorrow morning. And I was being all Grown Up too - boo! Well that means there's a pack of 2 clearblue waiting in the cupboard for me to go through the same shenanigans next month - I so haven't learnt my lesson.

What is with the pseudo-pg symptoms though? Or is it because I haven't had proper periods in so long I've forgotten what PMS is like - DH did point out I used to get sore boobs before. And been under a lot of pressure at work, which is probably the sicky feelings - anxiety. Or I'm just a loon!

Ah well, at least I can have a giant glass of guilt free wine

Queen - will be keeping everything crossed for you. That is great about your DS.

queenoftheslatterns · 11/03/2010 07:15

oh pants the wholepg/period symptom thing is frustrating isn't it?

i had my first clearblue craving this morning, woke up thinking "could i be up the pole?"

queen Saturday at the earliest. I have everything crossed for you.

I came on today so am really pleased about that, was a very long 42 bloody days.

so... few days off the straight back on the wagon for a Christmas baby.

Loujalou · 11/03/2010 17:58

Lia you are not the person to tell people to stop POAS but I am impressed how you are getting in the spirit of the thread.

Do you think if we have Xmas babies they will come out with some tinsel? Okay so that acupuncture has messed with me brain.

LilRedWG · 11/03/2010 18:02

QOS - just seen this! I didn't know you were at it again.

We're now trying too although I have to say we've been pretty half-hearted about it. GP and I think I may have had a very early loss last month but she said that that is the the last she'll say of it as I don't need any more loss in my life atm. Bless her, she does know me well.

liahgen66 · 11/03/2010 19:29

lou i'll have you know I am a reformed character. I was so impressed with your cupboard full of unpeed on sticks that i decided to turn over a new leaf.

NO MORE EARLY TESTING FOR ME

(ask me again in 24 days!!)

And yes definately to tinsel. If i was to get preggers this month, I would be due 14th Dec which is when I found out I was pregnant last time.

lil for your loss, even if doc won't speak of it again, still worth aknowledging I think.

queenoftheslatterns · 11/03/2010 21:52

red, heres to a Xmas baby though

we are back on the horse, i have managed to steer clear of the family planning aisle and had a bit of spotting today followed by wehat can only be described as cervical cramps so period is on its way. however, bought some lovely undies today so hoping to make good use of them next month

Thanks liahgen66 and QOS. My GP is right though - I can't start wondering what if, I'd never cope after the year I've just had. So, we're not dwelling, just continuing - it's all you can do isn't it.

Unbuffy · 12/03/2010 15:17

ooooh, me me me please can I join? Am frantically symptom spotting, only 18 days into cycle. Sore boobies, indigestion, feeling sick, needing to pee, dreadful cold - hang on, that's no a symptom. Must keep telling myself it's a probable CAUSE. Please back me up here, MUST NOT TEST for AT LEAST 10 DAYS... Moral support required please ladies...

ps think i have met some of you before? (Waves to Lia, Lucyb, Lou, redandyellow if still lurking, anyone and everyone else!!) And pleased to meet the rest!

sakura28 · 12/03/2010 15:45

Hello all,

I think it may be a good idea for me to join too, af is due next thursday so am going to need steely resolve not to purchase a first response when I have a perfectly good boots normal test waiting upstairs!

Also have symptoms which could be complete coincidence or what we are all wishing for, needing the toilet often, feeling a bit sick, funny stomach pains....

Anyway, hi everyone (and thanks unbuffy!)oh and good luck too ;)

Hi Lucy me too! Only break I get from dd some days... it's good to 'talk' to 'grownups' (not sure about either of those terms...

Cycle is a total mess - basically (ahem...) On pill for years (prescribed as teenager for 2weeks on/2 weeks off cycle. Urgh.). Off pill. Fell at once. bf dd, period arrived many many moons later. four very messy and confused cycles, ranging from 3 weeks to 6 weeks. Fell. mc at 14 weeks. Last cycle: 27 (or was it 28) days. Currently day 18.

Have been swi since about day 7 every/every other day (dh thinks that his birthdays have all come together and is not complaining ). No idea when ov'd. I presume I have done so. Ooooh, feel sick. Bring on the Guinness.

Since having a section, and then a mc, there is no such thing as tmi. Although the rest of the world seems less understanding about this!!! Why is not a lot always too much in rl?

Don't want to test yet. But y'know.
That's why I'm here - so you can keep me in line!

Did I mention that my tummy hurts (Down There) and I'm not enjoying my glass of wine?? And the symptom-spotting continues...
