Bicnod - noooo! Don't do it! I am solemnly promising to not POAS until AF is late this cycle. Did you manage to restrain yourself yesterday?

Yep, managed to restrain myself somehow. Am allowed to POAS on Friday, but if I can wait until Saturday so much the better (likely story).

I feel very pre-menstrual however, so don't think it's my month sadly

When are you allowed to crack open the pg tests WLL?

I am a total twat. I just poas. Not due until Friday and did it while DS was asleep at lunchtime (spur of the moment thing - I really shouldn't keep the pg tests in the cupboard next to the loo) - so not even first morning wee. And I'd drunk a pint of water at lunchtime. It was, of course, BFN. Why am I such a nob? Please someone kick me. Hard.

Bicnod...you are not a knob! at least you waited that long! I am a total Knob! not due on till Tuesday, but was reading reviews on early testing, and totally convinced myself it would be a good idea to go and spend 11 quid!...suprise, suprise...it was negative!!! (like I didn't really know)...and now feel like I'm going to come on any minute.
Funny as of an hour ago I was sure I was defo pregnant...My mind is very good at playing tricks on me, or maybe I'm just losing it??? Oh well :-)

Can you get pregnant by having unprotected sex in week 3 of your 4 weekly cycle, not sure when to test!

Hi sav210...i think it really depends when you ov...I ov late in cycle, so yes you could be...? ;-)

well I think mines the usual 4 weeks but is the egg still able to be fertilised in this time?

Bicnod - aww, don't worry, we've all done it! I'm not due on until 9th April (going by my last cycle, although they're quite erratic) so will try and wait until AF is def late before POAS as I hate seeing BFN.

Sav - I guess wait til AF overdue (which is what we all 'know' we should be doing but don't!)

Hi Ljg - ok acronyms, as far as I know are:

DS/DD = dear son/daughter
AF = auntie flo - i.e. period
BFN = big fat negative (pregnancy test) and of course BFP = big fat positivie!

It's so easy to convince yourself you're pg - sometimes I'm with my Mum when she says it was all a lot simpler in her day...

Hi all, how's everyone getting on?

Bicnod and ljg - did you restest/did AF arrive? Fingers crossed it was a positive Easter weekend for you both.

I am now somewhere in the region of 8 dpo - not really sure when ov. Had said I would be really good this month but already feeling tempted to test, duh. Don't really have any pg symptoms other than sore boobs which could easily be PMS. Have noticed slightly stronger smells, but not massively so. And I'm knackered...but then I'm always knackered!

Did early test yesterday(couln't resist)...and got a BFN!!! AF is due tomorrow (Eeeeyuck).
Hope everybody has better luck???...Roll on next month lol!.

Hiya ljg - sorry for your BFN, it's a bit depressing to see isn't it? Although obviously until AF arrives, you never know - especially as you tested early. This is the evilness of early tests. Good luck for next month if AF does arrive tomorrow.

Hey ljg - no AF for me yet either. A little early to test as not due til Friday going by my longest cycle so far. Have to say, all I seem to be having is PMS type symptoms so not too hopeful this month.

Hi ladies - not my month, the witch got me on Easter Saturday (got all excited when AF didn't turn up on Friday). Ah well - fingers crossed for a New Year baby this month

Hello WLL and BICOD...well hopefully WLL will be luckier than us this month, fingers crossed!...I still haven't got AF!!!! I'm never late! typical...spent a fortune on tests too.

Sorry AF showed up Bicnod, it's so unfair when you're late as well. Ljg - hope yours arrives soon or you get your bfp. I'll let you know how I get on this week, I'm going to wait until the weekend to test as af due Fri.
