Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

mornin ladies, bought a twin pack of clearblue and a twinpack of digital - did one of each last night, faint positive on the normal one and 1-2 weeks pregnant on the digital!!!
spoke to the early preg unit and they said not to worry too much about the light bleeding, and i'm off to see the gp this morning to get my bloods done so fingers crossed this one's in the right place this time!! DP has been very protective since i did the first test, and doesn't like it when my DS (who is 12 and big for his age) goes near me in case he knocks me bless him...it has taken us 6 years to get to this point.

Graduate Lucygrip BFP 08.03.10

rosieposey · 08/03/2010 12:13

congrats Lucygrip Your our first graduate - yey!

Well coming up to SWI time again, DH is not complaining at all but i have to say after a few days i am ready for a rest so to speak. Does anyone else 'indulge' every day? I read that every other day is sufficient but we usually do it every day more or less just to make sure - not sure if thats right though?

Well time to start using the opks again soon too, i didnt get one that registered a surge last month so i am hoping that i will have more luck this month.

LittleB · 08/03/2010 12:48

Congrats Lucy, great the we have a grduate already.
Hi Rosie, we try to SWI most days, but not every day, I'm currently on day 10 and SWI on day 7&8, so will be again today. Hard to tell when I'm ov as CM isn't reliable yet (had LLETZ treatment on my cervix in Nov, and although have the all clear from gp to TTC, cm is not yet back to normal). So no idea when I ov, although given that I tend to have 26/27 day cycles I'm asssuming its probably any time from around day 8 to day 16, but most likely days 10-14, but hard to tell so will just have to SWI as much as DH can cope with!

rosieposey · 08/03/2010 14:54

Hi littleB - i think thats the answer isnt it - just get in as much SWI as you (and he) can manage!

I went to town and bought some ovulation sticks and pre-seed this month as youve got to have some fun whilst trying havent you?

I dont mind this bit coming up its the 2ww i hate and im a terrible poas addict and always get testing too early - i need to buy more reliable hpts this month though and have heard there are a few bogof's around generally - will have a mooch in town later on in the week.

mumatron · 08/03/2010 15:12

congrats lucy hope things work out for you.

good luck to everyone swi,

im on the 2ww now. testing around the 19th.

have an appt on wed with a private fertility consultant, just to get a 2nd opinion really.

boba82 · 08/03/2010 15:32

rosieposey let me know of any good BOGOFs as I too am a POAS addict!

rosieposey · 08/03/2010 15:45

Ok well Lucy said earlier up the thread that her hpts were from Boots on a bogof and i know that Superdrug are doing a bogof on First Response double packs so you can get 4 for £10 - bargain if you have no self control like me, i found out i was pg with DS 3 days early but i was only prompted to test because of sore boobs.

rosieposey · 08/03/2010 15:46

Oh and good luck on the 2WW mumatron

mumofzac · 08/03/2010 20:27

Hi folks. My sixth bus now, always join with great enthusiasm thinking it could be the lucky bus! Took me a few days to mop up my tears from the October bus, but am here now thinking this could be the one. I had an email psyhic reading recently and the lady correctly guessed my employment type, an argument with my boss, the temprament of my first child and then said I would either get pregnant or give birth next December! So we will see if she is right! Please can someone add my stats. Good luck to all the December hopefuls x

mumatron · 09/03/2010 14:31

pinkie i was tested after my 1st mc. i dont have it though. i had cysts on my ovaries after the mc and they took a long time to go, but all scans/tests since have bben clear.

hello to newcomers

dinky i;m testing around the 19th too. if i can wait that long. 5dpo and the days are dragging by sooo slooowwly.....

lucygrif · 09/03/2010 16:15

hi guys, just to let you know i went to the GP and their test was NEGATIVE, so I waited until this morning (3am actually because i was bursting, my first of around 20 wees today) and did my remaining 2 clearblues - again the digital one was 1-2 pregnant, and the other one was a much stronger line... so I went back to the GP today and they tested the same pot of urine - NEGATIVE!!! I am totally confused and hoping that it's not another ectopic. They did my bloods and I should find out in an hour or so or tomorrow morning, and may get an early scan at 6-8 weeks. I will keep you posted....

mumatron · 09/03/2010 16:35

sorry your having such a confusing time lucy

could it just be that you are using more sensitive tests? are you using different brands? dont see how you could be getting so many false positives.

hope things work out for you x

Icedlemonmuffin · 09/03/2010 16:36

God how frustrating Lucy hope you get good news very soon.

lucygrif · 09/03/2010 16:37

yes, it looks as though hPTs are more sensitive as I have used 3 different types...x

mumatron · 09/03/2010 16:42

well dont assume the worst, positive thinking and all that (defo no pun intended there)

x
