Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

nickymorris TTC#2; Cycle 5; UCL 32-37; CD1

Good morning ladies, this bus is fairly quiet at the moment...not a very interesting time of the month for most of us is it?!

Morning Tea, I think you are right it is a boring time of the month, just getting ready to SWI again.
Vodka much needed!

lucygrif · 03/03/2010 10:22

hey guys thought i'd join in!! not been on here for months, to be honest I got sick of getting my hopes up
back to it now though, as i'm a week late and got a BFN on saturday... been TTC for 6 years and nobody can explain why it's not working.
one friend is telling me to retest and another is saying nooooooooo!! what do you guys think?

Loujalou · 03/03/2010 11:13

It might be worth POAS as it was 5 days ago - or go to your doctors if you are concerned. People do miss periods with no pregnancy or have longer annovulatory cycles.

lucygrif · 03/03/2010 11:20

i have only ever missed one period in my life and that was due to severe stress years ago. my cycle is usually 28-32 days with the odd one going to 35.
been to fertility clinic twice who say they can't find anything wrong with either of us. it would be sooooooooooo fab to get a BFP but i'm scared of getting my hopes up.
think i might test tomorrow morning....

lucygrif · 03/03/2010 11:21

just to add, I have had very sore boobs for 10 days ish and cramps for at least a week... keep thinking AF is coming

Loujalou · 03/03/2010 11:23

If it is bothering you that much it might be worth testing today.

Would also follow up with fertility clinic as unexplained infertility is not really a diagnosis. They need to run more tests.

lucygrif · 03/03/2010 11:27

they won't - they said that's all they can offer us.
not very happy about it but can't seem to get any further - they simply referred us to IVF clinic which we have to pay for coz I have a DC from prev relationship...
yeah, will buy one today and see if I can resist until morning...

Loujalou · 03/03/2010 11:31

That is awful. Fingers crossed its the news you want.

lucygrif · 03/03/2010 11:33

thanks xx

TeaFan · 03/03/2010 16:38

Good luck lucygrif let us know how you get on

mumatron · 03/03/2010 17:57

hi lucy sorry to hear you have hit a dead end with testing. are you going to self fund any further tests or treatments?

cd 15 here, swi started properly yesterday. quick question tho...

if af last longer than normal will that make ov later? i usually only bleed 5 days, 7 at the very most last month i bled for almost 12 days. only heavy for 3-4 days. just wondering if i might ov late because of this. any ideas??

how is everyone else?

Caracarolina · 03/03/2010 22:59

Hi all, lucy so sorry to hear what a difficult time you've been having - wishing you LOTS of luck with this cycle.

Nothing exciting going on here - just waiting for AF to depart, currently have horrible cold and also coming to terms with some sad family news too (my dad's not very well at all) - didn't help that my mum told me that we'd better get on with it so that "your father will have a chance to meet his grandchild" . So no pressure there then!! Going away with DH for the weekend though, so will be so lovely just to chill out for a bit and get myself together. Alas weekend will be too far from ov to be meaningfully SWI but hey ho

mumatron at 12 day period, poor you. Not sure about how that affects OV but I would guess it won't delay it as your body starts producing the hormones on day 1 of your cycle.

caracolina, i'm sorry to hear about your Dad, sounds like you really deserve your weekend away with DH, hope you enjoy it

Welcome Boba I see you are on CD35, are you going to POAS? I too am TTC#1, just going into cycle 7 and have turned into a nutjob, would have POAS many, many times by now!

Hi everyone. My baby is 15 yrs old today. This time 15 yrs ago, the sun was indeed shining and i was walking the corridors.

mumatron · 04/03/2010 15:07

will be testing around the 19th? what about everyone else?

sorry about the bfn liah know exactly what you mean about a 2011 baby. i have been ttc this one since 2008. just not fair isit??

x

boba82 · 04/03/2010 17:12

Have been POAS since CD26! Was getting my POAS obsession under control but came back with a vengeance this month, was convinced I was going to get a BFP but this has happened quite regularly to me, have had to accept all the cramps are just AF on the way.

Just wish it would hurry up so I can get back to SWI.

All the obsessing can't help though just can't bloody help it!

decafgirl · 04/03/2010 21:36

Hi ladies, can I jump aboard please? AF got me today after a very confusing 24 hours . Onwards and upwards as they say...!
