Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

To echo everyone else, that must be very frustrating Lucy. Hope all's ok.

To those talking about daily SWI, I'd heard that weakens the little swimmers and that they're stronger if you indulge every two days or even three instead. I feel exhausted at the mere thought of daily bonking and I know it wouldn't be long before I was weeing every 2 minutes and quaffing cranberry juice!

rosieposey · 09/03/2010 17:07

Lucygrif sorry you are having such a confusing time, what a pita - i think that the tests that the doctors use are probably weaker as i cant see that you are getting postitives off shop bought tests if you are not pg. Last month i got some ebay cheapy hpts which claimed to be super sensitive and that they supplied the nhs - i got two false postives (the dye was all over the place) out of a batch of 20 so i think that the shop bought ones are more reliable personally and will be using them to test myself later on in the month (as there are a few bogofs around )

Im not sure if i should change my cycle day on this threads stats, i put myself down as a week ago this sunday being cycle day one but i actually got AF on the Saturday night it was just so late in the evening (10 o clock) that i thought i may as well put my cycle day 1 as Sunday - wwyd? shall i assume that today is actually day 11 instead of day 10 or shall i just assume that actually it was just about Sunday and these stats are correct - just a bit worried that i will start testing with opks and swi'ing a day later than i should (not that it should make much difference).

boba82 · 09/03/2010 18:43

lucy hope everything works out ok for you, sounds like your tests are right though.

AF arrived this afternoon so my microscope turned out to be a load of crap. I have purchased a CBFM this afternoon in the hope it will help us conceive.

New stats are TTC#1 Cycle 11 UCL 35 CD1

rosieposey don't think it should make much difference as only really a matter of 12 hours but maybe you should make it day 11 then you can start POAS a day earlier!

rosieposey · 09/03/2010 18:59

Boba82 sorry to hear that the microscope was rubbish - bloody hate wasting money on stuff that doesnt work. Did look at the CBFM but i just cant afford to part with that much probably till next month or the month after. Although i suppose once you add up all of the hpts and opks it might have worked out about the same.

My usual cycle length is 38 days but this time was 30/31 - not sure given the ambiguity of the arrival of AF so not really sure when to start opks either. Sod it, tomorrow is either day 11 or day 12 so will start testing twice a day as of tomorrow for 10 days i am knacked and soooo not in the mood tonight so hopefully it wont matter if i start SWI tomorrow instead of tonight, i think every two days will be enough for me though as last months every day put me off a bit - you can have too much of a good thing!

boba82 · 09/03/2010 19:10

rosieposey I couldn't really afford either so put it on credit card, it's the last thing I'm going to buy, giving it two cycles then will go to docs for tests if no success.

Totally agree about SWI every night, we did that last month and ruined it completely, got to have some fun!

Think I'm only just ovulating again (or attempting to) so am still swi and on the 2ww later this week. So period should be here around cd45-47

bfn this morning when I tested to rule out early ovulation. But have lots of ewcm now so think we're back in swi business.

Hi Ladies, just showing my face to pack up my stuff and vacate the bus My body is playing tricks on me this month, have been really bloted and crabby then had cramps & bleeding on CD13 Hadn't SWI as had no signs of OV and haven't a clue what's going on now so we're giving it a miss for this month until I have been to GP and had a smear test. Good luck to you all

Teafan sorry to hear that. Without wanting to get your hopes up have you poas to rule it out?

TeaFan · 10/03/2010 20:33

It has crossed my mind digitalgirl but my period was normal, if a little lighter than usual. Have stopped using cheapies so it would mean wasting a lovely Sainsburys one and they look so pretty all wrapped up in their box ...

Wholelottalove · 10/03/2010 22:27

hope things work out for you teafan

hi wll i wont add you to the list as i will make a mess of it!

so had my appt last night. what a fab doctor. i took a look through all the tests i have had, looks like i havent had all the basic blood tests. he also said that the previous diagnosis of dp's sperm morphology being the reason for my mc is rubbish.

it's a big relief, he has also put a plan together for next pg. fingers crossed i wont have to wait too long!!

x

PinkiePoo · 11/03/2010 07:35

mumatron - That is good news, its great when things start to look positive.

I had blood tests to see if i had PCOS, rung the doc yesterday and they said my throid was normal but the doc needs to speak to me about my other results. which of course made me panic, spent all afternoon in floods of tears, my doc rung me later and said my blood results were all normal!!

Phew.....can't believe they made me panic!

Right back to SWI again!!!

mumatron · 11/03/2010 07:42

glad things were normal for you pinkie

boba82 · 11/03/2010 08:06

Ok have just been so knackered and DH late home every night that we havent really got into swi at all. Its either day 12 or 13 today so we'd better get cracking today otherwise i dont think this month is going to be a goer.

Hello to all who have recently joined and good luck

Goodluckbear · 11/03/2010 11:53

Hi guys, can I jump onboard or do I have to buy a ticket? This is the first bus I've joined, I've brought snacks for the journey.

I am:
Goodluckbear TTC#1 cycle 2 (post mc)UCL28 CD2

Hoping this is a really lucky bus for everyone, I'd love a December baby (or any baby of course!!)

xxxxxxxxxx

digitalgirl · 11/03/2010 12:07

Welcome goodluckbear teafan I guess you'll know what's going on soon enough when you get down to the gp's. No need to waste your own tests. Good luck.

Am 2dpo according to my cervix. Only another potential 14 days to go. crazy symptom spotting can commence in 8 days time. That's Friday next week. Any symptoms before then are purely progesterone induced and are in no way indicative of being pregnant because egg won't have implanted therefore no hcg hormones will be playing havoc with my body. Please everyone REMIND me of this when I mention tingly nips, achy back, nausea, hurty finger, big hair or whatever else that I think is clear confirmation that I am pregnant.

I do have tingly nips right now though...
