Hiya,

Thanks for everyone's comments. I haven't got a pg test in the house so will just leave it and wait and see what happens. When I fell pg with DD my test was done on CD25 and it was a defo positive. Just now I'm not wanting to get my hopes up.

Has anyone else suffered with cramping pains for most of the 2ww? And my lower back in killing me2. However, I remember when I had DD I had the cramps for a while, I just can't remember if they felt different to normal AF ones.

Oh well, here I go, keeping myself occupied tonight. Now starting on the men's favours for my wedding. Doing a scroll with a nice verse and they will all have a lottery ticket in them. Nice to have something else to focus on.

Have a gr8 weekend folks - might pop back later.....

sticky, sticky dust***

Clure · 26/02/2010 21:13

just popped on while DH finishes off his cycling. (he's a nutter too, he's been out in the freeeezing lean-to on his turbo trainer for last 90 mins)

Deb - tell me to mind my sticky beak but why don't you test, you sound like you are tying yourself in knots. I know what its like not wanting to worry DH I just got on a tested (knew most of mine were to be bfp's) anyway hon, you do what's right. I think I was just trying to ignore the testing, for me the time between periods was (and is) SO long that I can't follow what others generally do. Sorry waffle going on here.....

stac - thanks you always seem to say the right things x

right off now to cheese infront of the winter olympics xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

stac14 · 26/02/2010 22:02

hope your ok emmy deb think clure is right, at least if you test you will know one way or another. Think its great you don't want to upset dh but think you need his support just now. I know clomid is bad for messing with cycles but at least you would know were you are.

Wow shev that was early to find out you were preggers, i thought i knew early lol. Dont think i had lower back pain on 2ww but cant remember. What you up to this weekend? Lots of lovely wedding stuff?

fairy hows the wine? I would love a glass, but never would while pg. Will be back on it after bump arrives (yeah right, as if i could handle a drink after the baby gets here lol)

clure that was a lovely thing to say thanks. Enjoy the olympics, i woke up at 2.30 am this morning and ended up watching figure skating lol x

Ladybird10 · 26/02/2010 22:10

Hi Ladies

Stac i have loads of girls names i like but hardly any boys names...I like different names that aren't to common.

Deb i'm so excited for you, i would definately have tested by now especially as your last few cycles have been 32 33 days and the brown discharge sounds like a good sign. I do understand why you don't want to test as when its bfn it is heartbreaking. But by testing you will know either way and then you wont have to have all these horrible feelings of am i/aren't i...

We could really do with another BFP to keep our spirits up.

Hope all you lovely ladies have a great weekend

xxxx

Debicemmy2 · 26/02/2010 22:18

clure i think its because i dont want to see that BFN that im not teasting hun. Now I have had a chat to you lovely peeps think i might do one before Monday eh.....thats if AF not her
Shev hope your ok hun.....keep ing xxx
fairy my bod also very good at that too......drives me crazy................think that too is why im not wanting to test. Ill just do one eh,get it over and done with.....that way ill know and stop all this

Shev40 · 26/02/2010 22:18

Back Again

Clure that was fab, talk about chilled.

stac yeah, it was early but it was a bad thing. Every little twinge had me kacking it and phoning dr's. Probably because I'd had the m/c previously though. My back's been sore since not long after when I think I ov, same with the cramps. Might just be AF rearing her ugly mug but thought it was a bit early to have the symptoms of her. And, yes, busy making favours and looking at seating plan. Do you think it's possible to put witch of a MIL outside to eat

x

stac14 · 26/02/2010 22:24

probs not shev hun but worth a try lol

good luck with testing debs try not to freak out

lady i am really stumped, do you have boys? (sorry preggo brain is crap) when pregnant with ds i had loads of girls names and only one boys name as i was sure it was a girl, so he got the name i had lol but he suits being Jack, pity it became overly popular but hey ho

Hi Deb i've been lurking around, you must have missed me or maybe you have preggo brain like Stac, really hope you get your well deserved bfp this weekend, keep us updated

CD7 for me, better start thinking about some BD'ing soon.

xx

stac14 · 26/02/2010 23:08

soz lady i was sure there was someone on here who had 3 boys and i thought it was you, sorry hun. Charlie is my uncles name and he is a fab man. George is jacks middle name after his grandpa x

Fairygodmother1 · 27/02/2010 08:23

Hi ladies - the great name debate...

It's hard being a teacher & having to choose names.

Stac is your Jack hyperactive???? Every Jack I know is and like you say thats quite a few.
I like Charlie but they don't tend to be top of the class.
I love George for a boy or girl but my friend's son is George so it's a no-no here.

We easily chose girls names but had to change our fave when my bro called his son Kai & we wanted Kiah for a girl. So we've changed it & keeping it underwraps. My sister hates the middle name we've chose but it's our child & means something to us.
Both the girls names we've chose are very unusual so there won't be another one in her class.

Boys names were well easy. Our fave is my choice with middle name of DH's dad who died & the 2nd boys name is what DH chose & I love. If we get a 2nd boy then his middle name is named after my fave character from a book (actually so's the 2nd girls middle name - I have a lit degree to books are my passion!)

Hope I aint confused anyone with that explanation! Just trying not to give away names.

Kiah is now up for grabs it means beatiful place in aborigine (hope I spelt that right). I also have a passion for Australia Not the name the country).

fairy our jack must be the exception to the rule, he is very laid back and always been a great child unfortunately he is hormonal just now so can be moany lol. I love kiah but dp works with cars so it reminds him of that, also the dogs down the street ase called kiah and kia, totally infuriates me when people use perfectly good names for animals. X

Fairygodmother1 · 27/02/2010 09:36

Must be southern Jacks lol! Yeah don't say it Kee-ah, it's Kai-ah lol. Thats what my sister said as she has a Kia lol. Yeah someone at school called thneir daughter Ella & I piped up (mouth in gear before brain) my friend's dog is called that, oops! xxx

stac14 · 27/02/2010 09:45

lol, my friend liked molly but next doors dog was molly. It really is maddening when that happens lol. How was your night? What you up to today? Think i'm going shopping x

Confuzzled09 · 27/02/2010 09:50

HI girls,

WOuld be really useful to get some advice & tips on what to ask the GP.

I've just been for my scan for PCOS & had bloods done. THe chap at the hospital suspects that one of my ovaries is PC. I've not had a regular cycle since coming off the pill in June so hard to pin point day 21 for the blood test but according to the scan I was day 10 so just went for blood test 11 days later......
.. Anyway what I'm really after is info on what happens now & anything I should go armed with to my GP??? THanks

Fairygodmother1 · 27/02/2010 09:50

It was lovely with the wine & Indian - but I fell asleep before he made it to bed so BDing has got to happen at some point today. Know he's gagging for it lol.

Popping to mum's in a bit to see how the new puppy is doing (called Ben but that's cos my niece & nephew named him)& then shopping. Our house is bare!

Hi Cofuzzled I have PCOS too. It was my fertility cons that confirmed my PCOS as GP suspected it after 12 months of not conc & erratic AFs. I'm convinced the pill covered up the symptoms but also made me quite ill in the end!

When the cons got my results back he put me on 6 months clomid. Others have had metformin too but I don't think that my cons likes metformin! So I'd say they were your two choices of drugs as far as I know.

Sadly, this thread doesn't have too much success on the clomid! This will be my first month without again while I wait for IVF. But we do have two who conc after clomid! i'm sure they'll share their experiences!

Hope thats helped

Confuzzled09 · 27/02/2010 10:00

THanks FGM,

DId the GP refer you to your fertility cons?

I think the pill has done the same for me too - wish they'd warn you of that

Fingers crossed for everyone else on here

stac14 · 27/02/2010 10:06

welcome to the thread confuzzled09 your gp will probs refer you to a consultant, if not ask. The gp can prescribe clomid but will only be able to monitor if your ovulating using blood tests but the cons would maybe scan on cd 14 to check follicles and bloods. My gp gave me provera to induce my period so i could take clomid. Unfortunately there is no way of getting rid of pcos just ways of treating some of the symptoms. If theres anything else just ask us.

fairy your evening sounds lovely, you off the clomid this month? X
