Lia step away from the piss sticks.... Here, have this lovely Dirty Girl Scout.. that will set you up right for the day.

I have the opposite problem - I'm only day 18, but I have achey boobs. Which I get pretty much every month...grrr!

ILoveGregoryHouse · 17/02/2010 13:51

Did a First Response this morning..

Ta da! Two lines. Not holding my breath though after last positive pg test ended in emc at 4+4. I'll hang around for a bit longer if it's okay with you guys - I can still have a cocktail til the placenta starts forming right? [sceptical].

Lia, only a few more days, only a few more days. You can still drink with a clear conscience. Make the most of it.

beckylou85 · 17/02/2010 13:57

ILGH BFP 16 Feb 2010

PHEW, that was a big job

SilverBoots · 17/02/2010 14:53

Congratulations ILGH! Here's a non-alcoholic cocktail to celebrate!

I think I ov'd early this month - day 13 or 14 rather than the usual 16 or 17. Took me by surprise, ooops ... Shettles Shmettles.

I'm now 4dpo far far tooo early for symptoms, but ... I feel really strange (stranger than I usually do) like I'm drunk/hungover but without all the fun (obviously I have never been drunk or hungover in my life no, no ... I'm just going from what other people tell me). Have the usual post ov sore boobs & feeling sick.

So I MUST be pg, or mad.

Fingers crossed for more BFPs

Boots x

LadyBee · 17/02/2010 15:25

Hoorah! ILGH, what great news, congrats! I really hope everything works out and that you can relax and enjoy these early days without worrying about what will be too much

Well I'm on day 15 and I reckon I might have laid an egg, had very tenderish feelings yesterday and early this morning and just had that cloudy CM so I think we're done but will try to persuade DH to give it one more (ahem) shot tonight - we're both recovered and you never know...

Ohh, I'm very jealous of (and happy for) you ILGH , I want a +ve this month too please. If anyone is listening...

decafgirl · 17/02/2010 16:09

Yay! Congratulations ILGH let's hope your BFP is the first of many!

My temp went up this morning as I thought it would (it's such a novelty having predictable cycles!) so having had lots (and lots ) of SWI I'm hoping at least one of the buggers found that egg! Sperm are really quite stupid though aren't they?!
Think we'll have to give it one last 'go' before I give my poor DH a rest just to be on the safe side.

Here's hoping the 2ww passes quickly for us all. I have VOWED not to symptom spot this time so please shoot me tell me to be rational if I start posting about boobs and cramping!

sunshineandstrawberries · 17/02/2010 16:31

Hi, can i hop on board please?

I'm usually a lurker, but I have now become way too obsessed and need help restraining as I've done absolutely no work today. All day has been spent on MN and googling symptoms (of which I am now imagining having all of). I'm currently CD20 5dpo UCL27-28 which means I'll be due on 24th Feb. How I can manage not to conjure up a phantom pregnancy before then I'm not sure.

You're all amazing and hope there are lots of BFP's this month.

I also bring chocs, muffins, pastries, wine, creme eggs and pistachio nuts (one of my 'cravings'.

Gregory has set the prescedent, who's gonna be next?

Loujalou · 17/02/2010 18:07

Lia even you the queen of POAS addicts knows that day 20 is too early. Even I know that.

Not even in the SWI yet so no mentalness from me just yet.

Congrats ILGH fingers crossed on this one being a sticky!

Icedlemonmuffin · 17/02/2010 18:47

Yeah our first limo graduate ! Congrats ILGH hope this is a super sticky bean or two !

I'm going to sit a the back of the limo eating creme eggs (thanks strawberries] because I have no symptoms at all

LittleSilver · 17/02/2010 19:12

ILGH congratulations first graduate!

Who's testing next?

Maclaren · 17/02/2010 20:03

ohh ILGH congrates! lets hope it brings the rest of us some luck

I am testing again tomorrow morning so fingers cross although I am now thinking my symptoms may be due to a water infection hayho!

bunnygirl80 · 17/02/2010 23:26

Hello all

I've been sitting quietly at the back of the limo for the last few days waiting for AF to depart.

Congrats ILGH Hope this one's a sticky one for you.

I'm now entering the SWI phase. DH rather romantically turned to me last night and asked if it was time to start loading me up with spunk Needless to say I was overcome with lust after that statement and succumbed to his advances

Maclaren · 18/02/2010 08:29

tested again this morning and another BFN so I am not going to test now until AF is due so Sunday! I am away at my mums unti then so it will be easier not to test lol!

Got quite upset this morning I am sure if I was PG this month then it would show by now! Hayho DH has said we can try again next year when things are a tad more settled with the economy

Loujalou · 18/02/2010 10:27

OK rant warning.

I am not sure who I can tell so here goes... My not so DH is supposed to be making an appointment to go to the doctors to discuss why we haven't been able to conceive. I have had my doubts that he has actually made appointments as he keeps making them when I can't be there and they keep being cancelled etc. Anyway he apparently had arranged one for this morning at 9. So I rush out the house in the freezing cold. I then get told the doctor he apparently arranged it with was not there today. I had tried to get hold of him and I couldn't. I have had enough. There wasn't even an appointment in his name. I can't stand lies and have spoken to him since and told him, I can't be with him any more. He keeps telling me he wants another baby as much as me but doesn't seem to act in that way. There have been a few other things as well.

Sorry rant over.

rosieposey · 18/02/2010 10:27

ILGH congrats thats great news!

Liahgen66 your on the same cycle as me so when are you going to start testing? I dont know when i ovulated as the opks didnt show one so not sure if the SWI worked or not. If i knew when i ov'ed (if indeed i ov'ed ) i would know when to start testing - help!

Who's testing next - we need more BFP's

TeaFan · 18/02/2010 11:11

Oh Lou for your H and for you but please don't do anything rash. I know it feels impossible but take a deep breath and speak to him when you are calm. The last thing you want to do is damage your relationship... Maybe he has a valid reason for his weird behaviour, maybe he is embarrassed or worried what the results would be. They're sensitive creatures these menfolk.

HTH, sorry you're feeling upset.

Tea x

Loujalou · 18/02/2010 11:19

Thanks Tea

He has told me in the past he is a bit worried its something to do with him and that is why he was delaying things in the first place. But he said he had got over that and just wanted to find out if anything was wrong... I have had enough. He knows how upset I am about TTC now that you would think he would want to do something about it. I have had enough. Valentines day he behaved like an a*hole. This is the final straw. Not sure there is a relationship to save.

Oh Lou I'm so sorry your H is being an arsehole. TG and I went through similar ishooes - I felt like it was me ttc on my own and he was the unwilling participant. He finally manned up and did the test last month. I'm afraid most men, although they might want another child, just don't get the whole longing that we do - they just can get their heads around it.

A friend who is also ttc sent me this link and it perfectly summed up how we are feeling... You need to look at the second bit (and then page 2) - ignore the bit about gay teens!

www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/10/AR2010021003479.html

I really hope you can talk to him - he needs to understand how this is making you feel and if he has a problem with having another child he needs to fess up and get it out in the open. It is so annoying that as women, we get subjected to barrage of tests re: fertility, and they get to wank in a pot. And they moan about that! And lets be honest, even if the results are not great, they can usually be improved with diet and supplements etc.

Chin up darlin', big hugs.

TeaFan · 18/02/2010 11:45

Bunny lol at your DH

Maclaren I really hope you get the result you want at the weekend

lemon well done on not symptom spotting, I wish I was having as much success, I have convinced myself that my usual sore boobs feel different to usual and I have been feeling a bit nauseous the last couple of days

Sorry for being such a misery. I have just been looking forward to speaking to a doctor and getting the ball moving. If he doesn't want to make an appointment I can but he promised he would. I did make an appointment before Xmas but had D&V so couldn't leave my bed.

Thanks for the link Polly. Men are crap its official. And I am obsessed with having another baby. Do you think if I want one badly enough I can win one on the lottery.
