Awwww bettymum that is sad sad news!

I was also on the Feb bus and remember you from there.

Sorry to hear about your mc, but I'm glad to know both you and your DH are keen to start trying again.

T

TakeLovingChances · 22/06/2009 10:13

I tested this morning what a stupid thing to do.

I'm 10dpo, but according to Fertility Friend, that only gives around a 70% chance of a pregnant woman getting a positive test result. I'm holding on to the hope that if I wait until I'm 14 dpo then I'll get a positive .

If it's not this month for us, then DH and I will have to wait until Aug to try again cuz I'm going away in July and DH won't be there.

Bettymum · 22/06/2009 10:28

Fingers crossed for you TakeLovingChances didn't think I'd be back on the bus quite so soon but nice to "see" you again.

Summer2008 · 22/06/2009 10:43

Hi All,

Feeling that this will be a positive bus for lots of us. :-) fingers crossed for you TLC.

I am updating as my stats are incorrect. Officially in the 2WW now.

Bettymum, sorry for your loss and hope you're doing OK. I also mc earlier this month so I can imagine how you might be feeling. Hopefully the March bus will be just the ticket for you...

trigger sorry for your loss last month. How are you today? Has the spotting stopped? Fingers crossed that it's implantation bleeding...

TLC don't forget the all important stats:

HPT Accuracy Results Percentages:
(Based on a 25mIU sensitive test)
10 dpo : 35%
11 dpo : 51%
12 dpo : 62%
13 dpo : 68%
14 dpo : 74%
15 dpo : 80%
16 dpo : 88%
17 dpo : 92%
18 dpo : 99%

There is still a 2 in 3 chance that you could get a BFP this cycle!

More luck to this week's testers...

TakeLovingChances · 22/06/2009 12:02

nancypreg I didn't know those percentages, that's making me feel a good deal better. I will have to just wait until AF starts, or test later on in the week.

I think the worst thing is having tests in the bathroom cabinet.... if they weren't in the house I wouldn't be nearly so tempted! I must suggest to DH that he locks them up somewhere!

sweetkitty · 22/06/2009 12:12

hi ladies just signing in, nothing happening here still stuck at the foot of the table

c'mon where's our first BFP I think it's a sign we will have none then loads all at once

triggerhappybaby · 22/06/2009 12:54

Nancypreg no it's not stopped in fact it's not changed on iota. I keep expecting the next sneeze to empty the contents of my innards into my pants but nothing as yet. It's all brown though so not sure where it's been lurking for so long. Been blood-free since a week after MC so can't really be any 'remains' I wouldn't think...

Can't believe it's implantation so soon after MC but I suppose stranger things have happened

Summer2008 · 22/06/2009 14:05

triggerhappybaby - I had a ERPC at the end of Feb this year for a MMC. My bleeding stopped after 6 days. 21 days later I had the same as your having right now and I went in for a scan as I was worried. They told me it was old blood.

My AF arrived soon after.

Hope this helps.

NancyPreg · 22/06/2009 16:31

TLC - give it another 3-4 days, then test again if no af...[easier said than done emoticon].

I use the eBay cheap pg tests so it doesn't feel as indulgent or sinful when I test early (well, the earliest I've ever tested is 13dpo ) BUT in view of my last mc, I actually think earlyish testing is no bad thing. For example, when I was pg with DC1 (back in the day when a BFP=baby), I didn't even test until I was about two weeks late . It just didn't occur to me that I could be pg! Anyway, the point is, with my last mc, I tested on 13dpo and got +ve...tested on 15dpo and got a stronger +ve...then tested again on 18dpo and got a weak line. I was totally floored by this as although I'd had two MMC, this was a whole new world of mc to me. SO, my point is that if I hadn't tested as early as I did last month, I wouldn't have seen the line grow stronger and then fainter which although it was heartbreaking to see, it did give me a full 48hrs warning before my mc started spontaneously so I was prepared. If I hadn't tested, I'd have just assumed that my af was a week late and lost that valuable information.

trigger I see that you're on CD25, do you aim to test in the next day or so? Depending on your UCL, it could give you some helpful information...fingers crossed anyway because the not knowing is (almost) as bad as a BFN!

TakeLovingChances · 22/06/2009 17:11

Nancypreg if AF doesn't come in next few days I will test on Friday... will sit on my hands until then if I have to, to prevent temptation of HPT.

I'm sad to learn of all these MC and MMC, I think I'm still naive enough to think that when I get a +ve that it will actually mean I'll carry a baby to full term.

I'm 24 years old, and assumed that stopping the pill and having lots of sex would quickly = a pregnancy! I just do not understand all these girls my age who have unprotected sex once and have a baby! They are lucky and probably don't even know it

triggerhappybaby · 22/06/2009 17:16

Summer that makes a lot more sense, and I fully expect that is what will happen. Nancypreg ff not seen anything tangible by the weekend will test, but not too worked up atm.

NancyPreg · 22/06/2009 17:21

TLC - don't be put off by all the tales of mcs...it hasn't happened to you so there's no need to imagine that it will! That's the danger with getting close to ttc (via a forum such as this) because you're bound to read about a very wide range of experiences, some of which are, sadly, bound to be sad. But there are lots of positive stories to be found too! In fact, I'll bet that the positive stories far outweigh the sad stories!

And you are unbelievably YOUNG YOUNG YOUNG

I've updated my stats below. I'm feeling a little low today, I just found out a good friend with a ds the same age as mine is expecting again - we talked about starting to try for the next one a few months back. I'm happy for her, sad I'm not yet able to join her. Anyhow..
