HOOOOOORRRRRRRAAAAYYYYYYYYY for Beanie!!!!

Am so excited for you (even though early days) and will keep you in my thoughts until you have seen that little heart beat. So pleased for you and Mr Beanie that the IVF was relatively easy. Take it easy and keep us updated with all of your symptoms! Huge hugs! x

jaamy · 14/04/2010 11:25

Hello skibi! You've joined us at an exciting time - beanie has just had a BFP (big fat positive) on a HPT (home pregnancy test) after a long old haul TTC (trying to conceive) and her 1st go of IVF. Yipee!

Add your name to the list (just copy and paste in to a new message but don't forget to update everyone's CDs (cycle days) if you don't do it today. If you do this on tomorrow (thurs) add 1, on Friday add 2, etc... cycle number is the number of menstual cycles you have been TTC, TTC# is the DC you are TTC, and mc is miscarriage, mmc is missed miscarriage. I, for example am on day 8 of my current cycle after trying for 34 cycles to conceive our 3rd child and had miscarriages in March and Sept 08. Hope that makes sense.

Think that's it, shout if you need any more help. I am very interested in whether ASDA does clomid. I am currently having fertility tests and since will be DC3 for me I will have to self fund. Could be straight down to ASDA for me!! Shame it isn't Tesco...I have a loyalty card!

hi to everyone else

sorry for the long absence but i have totally avoided all things TTC (including BDing alot of the time much to DHs dismay) i have started to lurk again but im not back to TTC just yet

hope everyone is doing well

xx ei xx

ClaireDeLoon · 21/04/2010 09:55

LaRag sorry for period arriving and also flight - were you off on holiday? Hoping for a lucky cycle for you this time.

Ei lovely to see you, hope you're OK and feel up to ttc again soon. We're not really trying at the moment either, it's all a bit half hearted - we did it on CD10 this month for example then skipped a week or so and I'm not monitoring my cycle. It's like I want a baby but I never want to get pregnant again for me at the moment.

Beanie I have been thinking of you often, I hope it is all going OK and hope time isn't dragging until the scan too much.

ClaireDeLoon · 21/04/2010 12:53

Well after that post, and thinking hmm CD26 why no spotting so did a test and it's a bfp, 1-2 weeks.

Am shaking.

PandaEis · 21/04/2010 16:23

OH MY GOD!!! claire!!!! massive congrats!! get to th GP and get some monitoring!! excellent news!!

ClaireDeLoon · 21/04/2010 16:31

Thanks Ei, have stopped crying now. DP in shock.

I'm not going to the docs until I'm nearly 8 weeks unless I get pain or bleeding. Given they didn't know what caused the two previous mc's (as in we have never had investigations) I assume that there isn't anything they can do to help this one along. The last time I went to doc at 6 weeks and bless him he's great but he insisted I get scanned then and faught with EPU for an early but it was inconclusive. I would rather wait until 8 weeks when they can say one way or another.

Have been trying really hard to lose weight and have lost 7lbs in 4 weeks on weight watchers and also have been doing 30 day shred dvd which is very hard work so have stopped the dvd and will just get a 30 min brisk walk in every day. Will continue with diet for now just making sure I drink some milk, get lots of fruit and veg and water.

ClaireDeLoon · 21/04/2010 16:32

Just to add - weight watchers isn't a meal replacement diet or anything, it is purely about healthy eating and restricting calories and saturated fat to a level where you aim to lose 1-2lbs a week. So it's not extreme or potentially damaging to me or baby.

beanieb · 21/04/2010 17:10

Claire.

That is bloody amazing and fantastic news! Just saw you post in another thread (the anxiety one) and have rushed straight in here to say massive CONGRATULATIONS. if you need anyone to hold hands with I'm here (posting under DuelingFanjo in other threads) - I am riddled with anxiety over everything from my lack of symptoms to rogue second digital tests. My scan is a week tomorrow - I'll be about 7 +5 by then and dreading it, but I guess by then I will know if it's viable or not.

Waves to Buddha, EI, Jaamy, blackrock, PL, LaRagazzaInglese and Zen. Thank you all for your congratulations. If this sticks I am due around 12th Dec by my calculations.

LaRagazzaInglese sorry to see you back at the top and it sucks about your flight

beanieb · 21/04/2010 17:13

ps - If all goes well, when will you be due Claire?

ClaireDeLoon · 21/04/2010 17:17

Hey beanie - not long to your scan I hope it is all OK and you get to see a heartbeat. Thank you for the congrats (just replied to you in anxiety thread).

Rogue digital tests - they're the devils work I swear, I got so worried last time when it didn't click over to 3 weeks when I expected. Yet I have just bought two twin packs in asda as they're down to £8.50, I must love the torture.

ClaireDeLoon · 21/04/2010 17:19

The mn due date calculator says 30 December.

jaamy · 22/04/2010 14:04

Ahhhhhh, Claire!!!!! Wow! CONGRATULATIONS!

We haven't had anything positive in ages on this thread and now you and Beanie both! This is turning into a lucky thread. I might just hang around a bit!

Beanie - here's to a very fast week and you getting a glimpse of beanie junior. x

ClaireDeLoon · 23/04/2010 09:44

Thanks Jaamy, fingers crossed we get 3rd time lucky!

jaamy · 23/04/2010 11:45

Claire - yes, sending loads of sticky thoughts your way. Take it easy and lots of feet up and spoiling (weight watchers style, of course ).

migola · 23/04/2010 23:08

Hello girls, just thought I'd pop in and say hello, I haven't forgotten about you . Saw the lovely news that beanieb has a BFP, and Clairedeloon too, congratulations to you both, fantastic!
