Good luck Jaamy! I always type Jammy even though I'm thinking Jaamy, then have to go back and change it. Brain and fingers not connected.

PL hope you get that 3rd bar soon, and an egg :D that is so sweet! I just use the clearblue digital wee sticks. What else does the CBFM monitor? Apart from wee?

Beanie glad you got some more clomid! Will you have an appointment with them soon to review things? Is there a limited number of clomid cycles you can have? Fingers crossed for you.

I have booked in to see a medical herbalist for next Tuesday, so see how that goes!

jaamy · 16/09/2009 21:46

Thanks girls, I'm hoping that I will be jammy this month and finally get a sticky bean.

Still no sign of anything and I have been quite regular lately. Knowing my luck AF has been waiting to make an appearance because I've dared to do some exercise this month! Resisting the urge to test until the weekend when I will be 3 days overdue.

Claire - good luck with the herbalist. Hope they have something effective and not too weird and wonderful (though if it does the business, who cares!) at the same time.

I was having reflexology when I conceived DD1 after 4 years of TTC. But that was also shortly after a HCG so may or may not have helped. Was lovely and relaxing anyway!

Beanie - let's hope the cycling works...and the clomid. God to hear you've got more stock in, even though we know you won't need it all.

PL - hope you are merrily bonking away!

No news here. I was on a course today and was going to the loo so much for knicker checking that I'm sure everyone thought I had a problem! Am a bit emotional today, though so think AF is on the way and been playing a very horrid trick on me.

Will test tomorrow am and report back. Am quite nervous because I think this might be our last chance.

Hope Mrs and Mr Beanie are having a lovely shagathon!

Ei - yes, we are in good company here. Though I won't be sorry to see any of you lovely ladies graduate. HOw did the interview go, Ei?

Happy Friday night, everyone.

Sorry to hear this Jaamy.

I had my scan, all normal, two eggs spotted, about to launch. Twenty five day cycle predicted from scan, so maybe in with a chance this month ? Day 23...dodgy stomach, so looks like its on its way, but a better length cycle.

Do you still get symptoms of AF if your are PG ? I am not going to spend more money on tests until after day 25.....

DH still needs to do his bit...

Updated, hope it's right. Blackrock MEH! sorry to see you at the top again.

Am feeling miffed because I went to see a friend at lunchtime who started thrusting evening class booklets at me and telling me that perhaps if I took my mind off things I might get pregnant. As I left she asked me if I would adopt. What annoys me is it took her 18 months to conceive her first child so she should surely know what it's like. Or maybe she just suffered in silence

Anyway - and trying to be relaxed this month despite one or two issues here and there.

Hope all are well?

Went to see the medical herbalist last night - she couldn;t see anything obvious that may have caused my hormones to be acting up. She hasn't given me agnus castus but what she has given me has motherwort in - can you have a look at this link if you have a moment please and tell me honestly - would you take that?

'It should be avoided in pregnancy as large amounts may cause uterine contraction and potential miscarriage.'

I took it last night when I got in and I immediately had a cramp - within 30 mins. This was before I googled what she had given me. Haven't taken any today.

beanieb · 24/09/2009 16:21

How bad was the cramp? When I was taking agnus Castus I had cramp a bit but not very badly. If she has said only take them up to ovulation then that's ok but I wouldn't take them after just incase you do get pregnant.

PistachioLemon · 25/09/2009 09:01

Hi Claire, well I'd probably go back to the herbalist and ask her about it - say about the contraction and about what you've read and see what she says. Then you can decide whether to continue taking it or not.

OP posts:
ClaireDeLoon · 25/09/2009 10:49

Hi PL & Beanie - I rang the centre I saw her in and they got her to call me back. Apparently it is fine in the quantities given. The cramps were very mild and quite short. It could be because my period is due, I think due next Tuesday. Thanks for your advice. Am keeping taking it for now because would really like the mid cycle bleeding to stop and also I get spotting for quite a few days before AF which is quite a recent development.

can't understand why I am on here at 3 am, specially as I am tired after a fraught day and not much sleep last night.

Managed to work myself up into another 'it's never going to happen' tizz today everyone seems so much luckier than me. Should I just give up. Such a long wait until I can test too.

Some people are just so insensitive or maybe I am just so over-sensitive.

hope I have updated this ok.

Sorry it is all getting to you beanie

Comma2 · 28/09/2009 21:11

Hi,

sorry it's getting to you too, even if perfectly understandable. btw, I read a paper where they gave women with unexplained infertility baby aspirin ( I think 53mg?), and it helped quite a lot of them to get pregnant. I took some too when I conceived, but of course have no idea whether it helped or no. Anyway, can't harm though i thought.

Hang in there! Hugs to all.

BFP this morning. Feel so shaky and shocked it has happened after so long. And worried about mc again with age and my bicornuate uterus. But happy for now.
