I got a +ve on a clearblue test Friday two weeks ago, month before I ovulated 2 days after the +ve, so I'm assuming Sunday but maybe it was the Friday itself I ovulated, which would have been CD9 that would make sense for spotting now I suppose, period would then be due Saturday. Oh well.

hi all, have moved everyone on 3 days. Hope that's right?

Woke up this morning in the middle of a dream about testing, wasn't sure what day I was on so tested anyway (DOH!) - BFN. Checked here and I am on CD28 now which means I am late (just) but have no signs of anything happening baby or otherwise Am assuming my cycle may not be back to normal after the miscarriage although a teeny weeny bit of me is hoping that it's the same scenario as the BFP I had in May and that in 2 days time I will get a BFP. Highly unlikely I know but there's always hope I suppose

Whatever I just wish my period would come as I am going to start back on the Clomid and cross my fingers tightly for another succcess.

How is everyone else doing? Claire did it turn out to be your period ?

and ps, I just read back over the end of the 'strictly come dancing' thread and was on CD 30 when I got my BFP last time, with 2 negative tests on CD 26 and 28. Maybe there is hope?

or maybe I am just well and truly back on the TTC train of hope and dispair... gah!

Claire I could whisper implantation bleed but don't want to get your hopes up? If cycles are shorter you can take agnes castus to lengthen don't know if you have tried it?
Pistachio Have you made any decision re the reflexology yet? A number of girls on my other threads swear by it.

Been lurking to check on you guys, we had a 20 wk scan yesterday all went well but the LO decided it didn't want us to know what flavour it is, so crossed its legs and hid its secret Gutted!

hmmm still nothing.

Buddha so glad to hear the 20 week scan went well. LOL at bubs crossing its legs. Is that it in terms of scans or will there be more opportunities to find out the flavour?

Well, I've done some extensive googling and I think I've found some local places that look quite reputable and do both reflexology and accupuncture so once I start working again (hopefully in the next couple of weeks - am just waiting for contract to come through now) I will book an appointment. Work is quite slow for DH at the moment and as he is self-employed we're trying to tighten our belts for the time being so I don't think I can justify the expense until then.

Having said that, I have been eyeing up Clearblue fertility monitors on Ebay this morning - if I can get one fairly reasonably I think I may invest in that as for some reason I don't really trust my ebay cheapy ov tests.

Also, DH has finally booked his sperm tests (yay!). But get this, the earliest appointment available is September. There are either a lot of worried wives in this area or there's something in the water!

PL I sold my fertility monitor when I found out I was pregnant! DOH! Although I had used it for a year and my ovulation date rarely changed so I am just going to wing it from now on. Got mine from ebay for about £50. I have loads of the monitor sticks left which you're welcome to have if you do get one.

PL I got the sticks free as was taking part in a Clearblue trial so you can have them for nothing, doubt I will get another monitor. Do you have CAT (though I am a bit confused by how it works)? if not then I can put my email in here and you could send me your address?

I felt so down last night, just thinking it's never going to happen again. Plus Mr Beanieb was planning the sex we can have this cycle and next (he might be away when I ovulate in September) and it just reminded me I am back on the old TTC train of planned functional sex . A friend of ours has just announced her second pregnancy. I knew she was pregnant as he had already told me but she's due the week after I was supposed to be and it's made me a bit MEH and reminded me that I was actually pregnant a couple of months ago! Plus hers wasn't planned and she's all over facebook telling everyone what a surprise it was. I really really like her and have spoken to her about our difficulties so I know she sympathises but still....

Anyway - am going to take the Clomid tonight and see what happens so have to get positive about that!

Beanie - sending you lots of positive vibes. The clomid has worked for you before and hopefully will do the job again. Hope your DH is around at the crucial time. Is he going far? Could you meet up to do the deed halfway? Might make the "planned functional sex" a bit more interesting, now that you are an old married couple...CONGRATULATIONS BTW!

PL - yes, plenty of the black stuff was consumed (tastes much better when poured in Ireland) and also lots of the sex thing! Didn't realise Guinness was such an aphrodisiac! September isn't such a long time to wait for your DH's test. It will be here before you know it. Bet he can't wait. LOL! at the reflexology. Unable to justify the cost here too ATM.

Blackrock - Sorry to see you back at the top of the class, hun. Would have been nice for you to have had some good news before your appt (I think it's soon, isn't it?). Let's hope we can all take advantage of the summer lunar cycles... I got my last BFP this time last year so I know I'm "ripe" LOL!

Buddha - delighted scan went well even though bean was somewhat uncooperative. Will be a nice surprise!

Beanie hope you're feeling a bit better today? I definitely believe it will happen for you again, and as Jaamy says, the clomid has worked before so there's no reason it won't work again. I like the idea of meeting up halfway, is that possible at all?

Pregnant friends suck don't they. Sometimes I really wonder whether TTC is making me a worse friend to those with kids or who are pregnant. Actually, for me it's not too bad once they are born as I enjoy seeing and playing with them but I do feel very jealous with all the announcements and the pregnancies, probably because I would like to be doing the announcing and being pregnant. It's difficult to know whether they can tell the difference as most friends don't know we're trying but it definitely makes a difference to me.

If you really don't mind, I would love to take your extra sticks off you. My email address is [email protected]. I just missed out on a monitor last night so this time I'm going to be braver, and more importantly, stay by the computer at the end of the auction!
