Hi All, apologies in advance if this has been discussed before but i haven't got time to go through the archives.
My AF was due on Saturday and my cycle is 28 days and as regular as clockwork... until now!! I normally get niggly tummy aches and dull back aches when i'm due on but haven't had anything this month. I did a pregnancy test lastnight which appeared negative. So, i'm at a bit of a loss as to why i'm late. I'm not stressed and i'm not taking medication and my dh and i are currently ttc. Any ideas ladies?? My dh has convinced himself i'm pregnant and that it was just a faulty test. I'm loathed to spend more money on tests at the moment.... but... this is driving me mad!!

I would get another test or get your GP to test for you.

womba1 · 04/05/2005 14:36

Nbg.. i just wish the tests weren't so expensive! We've also recently relocated and as yet haven't got a Dr but i guess i better start looking!

I know the tests are expensive.

TBH I think I may be PG but it's a few days before my AF so I'm going to wait but if I was in your shoes I would buy another.

womba1 · 04/05/2005 14:40

I think i'll get my dh to bring one home with him tonight.. that is is i can wait until 10.30pm!!
Wishing you lots of luck too x

Thanks.

I don't know how you can wait that long!

I'd be straight out buying a test

All the best to you as well.

womba1 · 04/05/2005 14:46

I think it's because the test yesterday was negative, that i don't think i am pregnant. I know mistakes can happen but i also think that maybe a little part of me wants to continue believing i may be and another negative would dash my hopes. I think that just about makes sense!!!

Right, go on get yourself to the chemists and buy another test

First response or Clear Blue Digital.

lucyjo82 · 04/05/2005 14:50

i am going through the same thing, i have decided to wait a little longer and then buy another test

womba1 · 04/05/2005 14:51

My ds is asleep at the moment but if he wakes up soon, i'll go and get one. If he doesn't... i'll wait until tonight!! I suddenly feel very sick...

womba1 · 04/05/2005 14:53

Hi Lucyjo... it's awful isn't it?? It's surprising how quickly you get your hopes up.

Rachey1969 · 04/05/2005 15:12

Hi, have you tried Poundland? I kid you not, tests are only £1 and I got a positive maybe 5 days late - I did a clearblue (for £8!) the next day and it confirmed it. I did an internet search on 'babystart' - the manufacturer - and they are available online for £2 - I really don't think the expensive tests are any better.

Newbarnsleygirl · 04/05/2005 15:12

Never

womba1 · 04/05/2005 15:14

Rachey... you're a star!!! I can get to a Poundland tomorow.. thank you sooooo much for posting!!

Oh yes... I know it sounds unlikely, and no, they are not out of date!
