Hi All, apologies in advance if this has been discussed before but i haven't got time to go through the archives.
My AF was due on Saturday and my cycle is 28 days and as regular as clockwork... until now!! I normally get niggly tummy aches and dull back aches when i'm due on but haven't had anything this month. I did a pregnancy test lastnight which appeared negative. So, i'm at a bit of a loss as to why i'm late. I'm not stressed and i'm not taking medication and my dh and i are currently ttc. Any ideas ladies?? My dh has convinced himself i'm pregnant and that it was just a faulty test. I'm loathed to spend more money on tests at the moment.... but... this is driving me mad!!

How did it go Womba1?

womba1 · 05/05/2005 21:53

NBG.. sorry.. haven't had a chance to get on here all day! I still haven't started my AF and neither have i retested!! My dh forgot to bring a test in with him lastnight and after talking about it this morning, we've decided to leave it until tomorrow. I can't believe i'm remaining so calm about all this... it's kind of nice not knowing. Thanks for asking anyway... Womba xx

OMG, you are calm!

Good luck, fingers crossed for you.

womba1 · 05/05/2005 21:59

Thank you... and as soon as i've tested tomorrow i'll post!
My dh has come to the conclusion that he'd like me to be pregnant with triplets and then i can have my bits taken out as four children would be enough!!! He's so kind and considerate, my old man!!

Cadbury · 05/05/2005 22:01

Hi womba, I've been lurking . Guess, if you've moved that I missed my chance to meet you in town

Keeping everything crossed for you

womba1 · 05/05/2005 22:06

Hi Cadbury... sorry, the whole move eventually happened alot faster than anticipated!! You could always come down to Eastbourne for the day?? It's sooooo lovely here. And thanks for your kind wishes... i think i'm just a little scared to test in case i'm not pregnant.. but i'll find out tomorrow one way or another!!

I know what you mean. Part of you wants to know and part doesn't. I was in the same situation myself a couple of weeks ago (not ttc though) - it turned out I wasn't pg which was fine for me.

Eastbourne is a fab place I've heard. My grandmother lives in Barton on Sea - is that near by?

Will keep checking to see how you are doing.
Big hugs,
cadders xxx

womba1 · 05/05/2005 22:20

I've never heard of Barton-on-sea to be honest but i'm still getting to know the area myself. It would be really nice to meet up with you though so when you visit your grandmother, let me know and perhaps we can try and arrange something.
My dh and i have only been living together again since 5th April because of our housing situation so if i am pregnant, he's going to be patting himself, and "his boys" on the back!!
Take care Cadders xxx

Fingers crossed for you, I finally did my GP test today - due back in about a week! I did a digital test yesterday, just out of interest really. Then I gave the other test in the pack to my friend and she tested positive as well - we couldn't believe it, thought I must have contaminated hers! - I so hope it goes calmly and smoothly for us both...

Distel · 06/05/2005 10:41

Hope you have good news x x x

Toothache · 06/05/2005 10:50

Womba1 - How can you resist testing???!?!? Have you tested again yet?

MINNIE1 · 06/05/2005 11:21

womba1,
I cant wait now..

Worriedbev · 06/05/2005 16:51

Hi everyone
I have tried the poundland sticks and they do work ok, although I didnt get the positive result as I wasnt pg, but expect they will be fine. They worked as well as a normal test as far as I could tell, I am going to get a load more when I go there.
love Bevx

Hi All.. sorry to keep you all in suspense... .... but no, i don't appear to be pregnant.
I seemed to be bleeding a little this morning but not to the usual extent, so i still did a test and it was negative. I'm a bit disappointed but it just means more nookie!!!
Thank you for all your interest... and i really hope that within a few months, i'll be posting great news!!
