WorrisomeHeart · 27/05/2009 22:24

Congrats, congrats congrats Bettymum! I wonder who will be next??

Summer2008 · 28/05/2009 08:04

Bettymum congratulations!!!!!! :-)

Update from me, i have been having cramps now for the last few days too early for AF as ovulated late this month.

Fells like AF cramps but its constant from about lunch through to the rest of the day. Off to the doctors later as i dont normally get this.

How is everyone else? Any symptoms for anyone in the 2WW?

TakeLovingChances · 28/05/2009 08:53

I have major symptoms!

I've been feeling sick for the past 2 days - no actual vomit, but feel a bit ill and also dizzy.

Yesterday my face was very flushed and I felt warm all over - maybe I'm just getting a cold or something, I don't know!

I do have cramps, but still no AF. I'm now on CD 31, I only came off the pill in March so I'm still not sure of my UCL.

I hpt on CD 29, but got BFN I'm trying very hard to hold off testing until at least tomorrow....

I hope that these symptoms aren't just my mind playing tricks on me

I need help!

Josie22 · 28/05/2009 09:31

Morning all. Nothing to report as am in the ever so fun 2ww...

TLC - it sounds promising so will keep my fingers crossed.

Summer 2008 - good luck at the docs (and fingers crossed its the good type of cramping!!). Would be interested to know what they have to say as I mentioned to a nurse that I kept on getting non-af cramping in my 2ww ever since starting ttc - she just looked at me like i was mad and didn't even try to give an explanation. Sometimes I wonder that docs/nurses don't know/care much about female fertility - they should all be made to read "taking charge of your fertility" (which I thoroughly recommend to anyone) and then they might give better advice! Mind you it may just be my crappy london doctors who all seem so stressed out and uninterested.

Right rant over for today!

TakeLovingChances · 28/05/2009 09:36

Another 'symptom' is that I am sooo tired! For the past few days I've been getting waves of tiredness.

I slept for 8 hours last night, but as I type this I am yawning and just want to go back to sleep for a while before I have to go to work (at noon).

No idea if the things I mentioned are symptoms or not.

Summer2008 · 28/05/2009 10:25

TLC - Sounds promising to me. Will keep my fingers crossed for you. What are your cramps like and how long have you had them for?

Josie22 - I will let you know what they say. I am hoping its good cramping but i know its far too early to do a HPT.

Summer2008 · 28/05/2009 10:27

TLC - I just looked at my diary and my first cycle length after coming off the pill was 35 days. Hope this helps.

cupcakefairy · 28/05/2009 10:32

Sorry to be pedantic but I was a day out so just reposting...

Huge congrats to bettymum!

I did another test this morning, and it's even fainter than yesterday! So now I don't know at all!!!! My tummy is quite tender and tea tastes really funny. Am crossing everything that I really am pg and it's not all a figment of an overactive imagination .
I did burst into tears this morning reading an article about an old boy that gardened for years all on his own on a derelict allotment site in Sheffield, and was amazed when veg became trendy and all the plots were taken and now it's all lovely and full of vegetables and he has lots of mates there. I must be pregnant, right??

OP posts:
Summer2008 · 28/05/2009 11:04

Bettymum - Which test was it? Was it the same brand as your previous test? As they have differant sensativity levels. Did you use FMU?

A line is a line and as long as it appeared in the specified time frame then its a positive

TakeLovingChances · 28/05/2009 11:09

summer2008 I know the list says this is my first cycle since coming off pill, but it's actually my 2nd. The first time I put myself on list I wrote it wrong and the other MNers have just kept it that way. My 1st cycle since coming off pill was last month and it was 26 days....

I think I've been having cramps for maybe 2 or 3 days. I did a hpt on Tuesday, but it was negative. Might do one tomorrow to see what it says.

I will keep you all updated

Bettymum · 28/05/2009 11:27

Hi Summer2008, yes, same brand, they're little sticks I got from Access Diagnostics. And I did test first thing. I remember when I got pg with DD it took about 4 days of testing in secret till I thought the line was dark enough to show DH (same sticks). I'm wondering whether to go out at lunchtime and buy an "expensive" test from Boots.

OP posts:
Summer2008 · 28/05/2009 12:42

Bettymum - maybe get a first response just to confirm things for you otherwise you will be worrying all day.

Bettymum · 28/05/2009 13:18

I went to Boots, I got a clear blue, I got a big fat plus sign!
Hoping my boss doesn't ask me what I'm grinning like a loon for
