hi devotion - it was and I promptly burst into tears! obviously I am blaming hormones.

I actually feel remarkably "normal" although strangely a few days ago I did get a couple of dizzy spells (eg when I bent over and came up too quickly) which I never get. About a week ago I was ever so teary about everything ... but I just put that down to stress of wait and this was the first cycle of really trying post mc at the end of March.

Out of interest though, how many of you came off the pill just before ttc? Because it really can take a long time for your body to get back to normalso just relax and bd as much as poss...your baby will come eventually

i know that is true... but its so hard

i really feel like af is about to start any minute now. i have that feeling you get just before...

so annoying!!!

i know its not the end of the world and this month we were not supposed to be really trying but when i realised there was a chance i just got carried away.

It's easily done devotion! Especially on MN here everyone is as obsessed as each other and we can all obssess together and then it just takes over your life! I find it hard not to think about it aaaall the time but it's probably not very healthy.

Forgot to say huge congrats to Happybump too!! Really pleased for you. Am I right in thinking you recently had a mc? If you want some hand-holding come join the Emmsys Onwards and Upwards.. everyone there has been through mc and a few are pregnant again now and supporting each other through it. They're a lovely bunch of ladies.

I jumped straight onto this thread as soon as I saw the title.

I have not actually been ttc but can not tell you how much money i have actually spent on tests in the last year. I have been hoping I would just fall pregnant as it never seems the right time when dh and i discuss it but i'm delighted he agreed to start ttc in a few months....... but this month we had sex three time around ovualtion and once the whole way iykwim so i have a very good chance that i am....... as usual i have all the symptoms but i NEED to hold back from testing until at least wed 27th.

With my last pregnancy i got neg the day i was due and very very faint pos the day after so I want to wait until wed. I also had an early mc last year but not sure i can wait a whole week past due date.

i really need to practice what i teach, i've been telling ttc'ers on other threads to hold back from testing and here i am here asking you lot to tie to my hands.

i'm determined not to go and buy a test until at least tues to test.

so how are you all doing - i hope no-one has given in?

did you feel like you were about to come on just before you found out?

completely - i did the test having just got back from shopping and with DS running around because I was convinced it would be negative, but figured I could at least have ibuprofen for my headache if it was! I'd gone off tea, felt a bit bloated and PMTy and was sure AF was just around the corner!

I'm pretty ok at the moment thanks - still a little in shock (have done 3 tests nowjust to make sure) and feeling queasy with very little appetite. I'm hoping it eases a bit tomorrow as I really don't want to give any clues at work so have to at least act 100% ok even if i don't feel it

And it was cycle 1 i see - thats great!

Some women on here have such patience - I admire them. I am like a little spolit child constantly complaining and I'm only on cycle 1.

Its funny how alot of women feel like af is about to start, i had that with last pregnancy too.

Did you test day after you were due or more?

I could test from today but I want to try and wait.

I'm cd 25 today and determined to wait until Sunday as last month was an unusually long 31 days. Not very hopeful as no symptoms but last month I thought I had loads and got BFN. Waiting for my mum's biopsy results tomorrow morn before I decide if I need to go up to hers for a few days. That will keep me distracted, hopefully!

Thanks Liahgen thats very kind of you, Yep 13 months definitely is soul destroying but i've got to the point now that i don't get all down and emotional when AF arrives as i expect more that AF will are than a BFP, probably the wrong attitude but it's been soooo long TTC thats just the way i expect things to go...

But never mind, we're on holiday this month when i'm supposed to be ov so fingers crossed that may help! a more relaxed approached may be the way forward!
