Congratulations to Happybump . Such good news to hear on a rainy Tuesday morning.

Devotion - your symptoms sound very promising. Especially the wierd taste in the mouth. Fingers crossed for you

Well after a weekend of decorating and baby dancing (after a on opk on Sunday)I can feel myself getting my hopes up already. Now the dreaded 2ww...Saw my eight and a half month pg sis on sunday - am hoping that her pg glow rubbed off on me!
Has anyone else heard that being aroung new born babies can sometimes help you get pg if you are having problems. Not sure if that is possible but then when girls are all together there period hormones can get in sync so maybe its the same type of thing worth a try.

I'm on CD29, have no idea how long my UCL should be cuz I've just come off the pill after being on it for years. Last month (my first period off the pill) came after 26 days, but so far no AF.

I've been feeling that crampy pull feeling that comes with AF for past few days, but still no blood.

I've been tasting a weird taste in my mouth for a few days, but forgot until now that that is a symptom of preg.

I tested yesterday and got BFN Don't know when to test again as I know it could develop into a serious habit!

Any advice from more seasoned MNers??

My stats: ttc 1, cycle 2, ucl ?, cd 29.

still no af here and still moody - we'll see!

TakeLovingChances - because you dont know your UCL i would wait until the end of the week to test if af does not arrive.

with my last prenancy the hormone levels must have been really low because i got a neg when due and pos after and it was with a early test.

so to save yourself getting upset by seeing those BFN' wait untik sunday.

I'm one of the naughty ones that mostly checks in at work so that's why I was quiet over the weekend
Also what with my cold, DD teething, and DH with a bad eye, not much time for checking internet. Fertility Friend is telling me to test tomorrow...temps are still up...trying not to get my hopes up as I think my temperature might be higher because I've got a cold. But I might test tomorrow just in case....

Hello all,

Just hopped on from the Jan bus. AF got me last week..if all goes well this month I would be due on 27 Feb.

Cycle seems to be getting shorter each month. Stopped bf DD in Jan and cycle has been 35, 34, 30, 30 and last month 29. Previously it had been 31 each month. Any ideas anyone?

just checking in, i'm also at work, so only get on here when I can.

Big congrats to HappyBump and i've got my fingers crossed for all of you waiting to test, sounding very promising though TLC, Devotion Bettymum. Let this bus be lucky!

I'll be due around 4th/5th June but circumstances didnt go to plan and not sure we BD enough this month . Typical, always seems to happen, but i'm trying to stay optimistic (kicking myself).

Hi thesoo, welcome! At the risk of repeating myself what you describe is very similar to what I had when I cut down and then stopped BF, my cycles started out long and got shorter and in fact for the first four or five I wasn't actually ovulating I was just having periods. Apparently this is quite normal as the hormones all sort themselves out.

I'm waiting to test tommorrow and it's killing me! Haven't bought a test or even told DH that I'm suspicious that AF hasn't got me...I'm usually very regular. AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!

Oh, that's interesting Bettymum I have been worried about not ovulating (using OPK's for the last few months and not getting many positives) didn't realise it could be related to BF. Feel a bit better now. Here's hoping this is the month that things get moving!
