bfp = Big Fat Positive
bfn = Big Fat Negative (we don't like those)
AF = Aunt Flo (I think u got that one)
DS = Dear/Darling Son
DD = Dear/Darling Daughter

Well... my mil went home and now its back to normal in the bubble household. Day 11 and fingers crossed the clomid works this time round.

You do count from the first day of af not the last right? Should really know that by now!!

Well I'm on CD4 now. Hoping I can talk dh into TTC during August ovulation so we'll find out if bfp/bfn or not in time for Barcelona on 16th Sept. Hoping (but not expecting) to catch on first time around (aren't we all?) so baby will be due before really hot weather kicks in next year If dh doesn't go for the August timing, means I'll have to wait for September ovulation which is predicted to be around 23rd Which is another cycle... Am getting so impatient now cos it's so close.

Anyway, enough of my grumbling!! How is everyone? Has anyone seen Harry Potter yet, I went on Wednesday evening and it was insanely busy and there were people with scars painted on their foreheads and everything - crazy!!
Good film tho - if you've read the books tho it doesn't do the book justice (as always)
Took my mum and dh to see it. Mum is a potter fan like me but dh just went for me iyswim. - anyway it's made dh start reading the books so it must be a cracking film cos that never happens!!!

Hiya, I'm with Kaylo in trying to get preggers so that I'm not all huge, hot and bothered next summer. My mates 7 months just now and she's struggling with the heat!

I'm really hoping that I'm pregnent just now as I don't want the dreaded AF to make an appearance after being on the pill for 6 years. I have a feeling it's even worse than I remember it! Is bad lower back ache a sign? I've had a bad back the last couple of days so here's hoping. Seemed to ovulate rather early but then that might be with just coming off the pill. Hope it's not just sign of early arrival of AF!!!

Well after 2 holidays relaxing in 2 months i think i may have just got a BFP!! Well that should be a Faint Positive... but a line's a line... right????

I have been awol lately-think i've been burying my head in the sand as i cant bear to go back to the docs and listen to his bullshit again.

Af arrived last thurs-almost a month late, and this is the first day its stopped so bding will commence from now on (though dont know if its gonna do much good if ive got a problem in the ovulation dept.)

The thing is i know i got the 21 day test done too early, but i don't think im not ov as ive been getting signs of it the past few months (cramps, ewcm etc). I bought some ov test sticks off amazon (box of 20) and have started them just to see if i ov early/on time/late/at all.

Rtuff what cd did you get your bfp?

I spent months trying to get the right day for my 21 day teast, but i worked out, for me, that if i did opk's day "21" would be 7 days after i got a +ive, i don't know if that helps???

i got my BFP on CD31 of cycle 16ish (lost count in the end!!) I also tested on cd28 and got a BFN so it just shows all that money i've wasted testing early over the past year and a half!

I've done 3 tests now, just to make sure... 3 tests can't be wrong surely! I'm in disbelief, my doc phoned today to say she had both mine and dh tests back and that she's happy to refer us now - typical!

I have been steering clear of mn recently, as I have been very anxious about this pregnancy,and found that the speculation on the pregnancy boards about what symptoms do/don't mean was only making me worse!

However, had 12w scan this morning (when it emerged I am in fact 13w) and all was well with my bean- well, it's much bigger than a bean now! And much more wriggly.

So you see, there is hope. After my mc and months of trying, plus some odd cycles, I thought we wouldn't conceive. But it does happen and beans can stick.

AF arrived this morning. Was hoping with coming off the pill I would getting pregnant quick. Will just have to hope for next cycle.

I'm very new to this TTC game!
I am symptom spotting like mad and have had a weird pain in my stomach on the left hand side low down like a stitch all day... i think I'm just looking for any old sign that this might be the month! I'm on CD21 of a 28 day cycle. Anyone else had this?
I'm doing my own head in already, this could be a bit of an obsession!!!

As for the clomid, i am trying opks this month and then i will go back to doc and ask for some if they show i have def not ov'd.

seany just wanted to say that opks are not the way to find out if your ovualting. they detect a LH surge and u dont always ovulate after 1.

see if you can find attilla. she will explain it properly... she was the 1 who explained to me that opks are useless to ppl with irregular cycles.

like last month... i got a + opk but the blood test confirmed i didnt ovualte.. it may cause more heartache

its day 20 and have had a funny pain down on my left side. not holding out much hope, got my day 21 test on day 22 (monday) so will know by wed wether the 100 mg of clomid worked..

i do have some news tho.

Im leaving after this cycle... i cant be bothered with the emotional rollercoaster that is TTC. but i will be thinking of you all and wishing you the best of luck in getting pregnant and being pregnant.

Seany - Thats exactly what I'm doing!!! In my diary I've written how many days weeks/days until the 20th Aug!! 3 weeks and 4 days!!!! Oh and the managers don't car a hoot about me @ work - they're currently trying to discipline me for taking so much time off work and trying to guilt-trip me because it's been dead busy and I could helped my team/colleagues by answering some calls.....fed of them all to be quite honest, can see me melting down before their eyes again - probably after a negative pg test in a month or so... bugger em!

oh bubble - I really really hope this cycle is the one for you I honestly do. It's good that you've made a decision and I can understand why - all the same you will be missed if you have to leave!! Hoping good news comes your way soon hun - whatever happens, take care!

I went out last night for my friends hen night - to a casino in Leeds - it was sooooo fab! Couldn't drink tho as was driving so it was j2o's for me - good practice I guess Such an amazing night but the men there were a bit OTT!! And more than a little sleazy. Anyway, I didn't get in til half 3 and have been up since half 7 cos DH refused to let me sleep in so I had to get up with kids. I'm sooo sleepy - it's gonna be a playhouse disney day today methinks, easy entertainment just for today

Gonna go now as I have a headache from tiredness and laptop screen not helping!

im not ttc yet, my last pill is this week and then we start the adventure. well kind of, i want to be very careful and very well planned so i'm gonna wait the full recommended three months before actually starting to try... in that time i'm gonna carry on losing weight and getting healthy, start on the folic acid and pay off my credit cards

im sure my family will be supportive and all, but i want them to see i have fully thought everything through and whatever...

hiya - welcome to the thread nattie - you do certainly sound organised - best I could do was look into consolidation for my credit cards or balance t/f - got a great deal with abbey who's offering 0% so went with them!! Happy days.

whitty I'm sorry ur having to wait until Dec before TTC - at least you've got your wedding plans to plunge yourself into! Exciting times that we live in these days!
