Hi pme when are you moving out? This might be the time you get preggers as your not thinking it will happen!! Fingers crossed!!

Joycey29 · 27/05/2009 09:31

Great news iate! Hope she is right!!

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 27/05/2009 09:56

hi joycey how are you feeling?? Hope your well Im tucking into a mahoosive bowl of porridge!

Clwc · 27/05/2009 10:50

Mmmm. Porridge

I had Shredded Wheat Bitesize today. Yum.

I have a bit of a confession... I don't know what CD I'm on (maybe 15) and DP and I haven't even been at it like tortoises, but I've been having thoughts about HPTs. Pink lines have been going through my mind... What's going on???? Grrrrr.

xx

FridaysIminlove · 27/05/2009 10:59

Hello! Posted on this thread last week, hoping to join in with not testing but have been so busy at work - not managed to keep up with thread at all! Rubbish!

I'm now on CD22 and have decided that instead of testing early, I will start temping from next cycle, in an effort to divert my attention.... Have diversion tactics worked for anyone else?

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 27/05/2009 11:00

hey clwc, DH and I only bonked about 4 times last month and had no idea of ovulation dates due to MC so hey it can happen! Im proof if that!

Stay away from the test though you know its farrrrr to early to get a BFP

PistachioLemon · 27/05/2009 11:07

Morning Fridays - temping certainly distracts me and prevents me from testing... you can tell if your period is about to arrive so it takes away the urge to test!

PistachioLemon · 27/05/2009 11:11

iate - porridge - yuck

Clwc - shredded white bitesize - ewww (and stay away from the first response, you know it's too early)

Marmite on homemade wholemeal seeded toast - mmmmmm yummmy. (What? Do I hear you all telling me to stop faffing about and get back to the books? Yeah, you might be right!)

FridaysIminlove · 27/05/2009 11:20

Thanks Pistachio! This sounds like a potential cure!! I guess you go by when your temp drops again to know when period is about to arrive - excellent. Now I just have to go another 10 days without touching any tests and I will actually be trying without testing!! Though I do sometimes have random cycles due to PCOS so there is still scope for unnecessary testing in there ....

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 27/05/2009 11:22

lol lemon i went for porridge as i dont have much food in the cuboards today need to shop, on a plus note its healthy for me and bubba

Plus DH bought 2 big boxes of the stuff few months ago when he felt he wanted to be 'healthy' lol of course it has not been touched since

Clwc · 27/05/2009 11:31

Marmite, yeeeeeuuuuuuuaaaachhhh!! [pukey face] Hehe.

My car's just gone in for an MOT. Wish it luck, everyone!

Fridays, I have PCOS too. It's a b*tch, ain't it?

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 27/05/2009 11:42

good luck to your car! LOL

FridaysIminlove · 27/05/2009 11:43

Clwc, yes indeed.

Ttc#2 and feeling SO grateful I didn't have to 'try' last time - got pg with DD (2.5) after a laparoscopy in a rather unplanned fashion....

It's a bit stressful not knowing if your body is actually working/you're finally pg hence no AF/it's just the sodding PCOS making you late.

On the up side, I've recently gone on a diet and joined the gym and lost a stone - it has made a REALLY BIG difference....

Clwc · 27/05/2009 11:52

Aww. Thanks yummy I'm sure it'll be fine now. lol. xx

Clwc · 27/05/2009 12:03

Fridays, I joined Slimming World two weeks ago, but I'm finding it very complicated, so probably haven't done very well. I'm a self-employed gardener, so, in theory, I should be getting enough exercise - cardio and muscle training! But, PCOS makes me really tired, and my stamina is a bit rubbish, compared to my school days, so I end up working as hard as I can for a couple of hours before I fall asleep! I have now added a lot more walking to my routine. Also, I hope to be put on Metformin in July.

Everyone: Sorry this message wandered off topic. I'll shut up now, and go to collect my car. TTFN. xx

Clwc · 27/05/2009 13:00

She passed!!*

*except for 2 little reg plate bulbs.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 27/05/2009 13:07

wooot!

FridaysIminlove · 27/05/2009 14:15

Clwc, (sorry still slightly off topic) - I started off with Weight Watchers, but found it TOTALLY bewildering and am now using an online calorie tracker which is working for me! It's also free, which of course helps...

I've been taking metformin for a few years, it takes a few weeks for your body to settle downbut it's worth it and has improved my fertility and helped me lose weight!

Love the job! That sounds like enough exercise - surely?!

Clwc · 27/05/2009 14:57

@ yummy

Fridays, I'm going to send you a pm.

xx

Clwc · 27/05/2009 14:59

Oh Fridays. It didn't work. Can you send one to me?

FridaysIminlove · 27/05/2009 16:22

Clwc - hmm, not used pm-ing on here before... got to get to a meeting (yawn) so will get back to you tmrw/sort out whatever you have to do to get pm's...

Clwc · 27/05/2009 18:59

Click the little envelope on the right of my posts.

FridaysIminlove · 28/05/2009 10:39

Clwc - aha, need to pay for membership! That's why it doesn't work!!

Clwc · 28/05/2009 11:28

No. Just alter the e-mail settings in your account. Never mind though. It was only to stop us taking this thread off topic so much, and we've managed to do that anyway

How is everyone? xx

PistachioLemon · 28/05/2009 11:48

Hey Fridays and Clwc - how are you today? Take the thread as much off topic as possible, it's good distraction from testing

No news here. I had a slight wobble last night (okay, actually it was a major tantrum). But I've regained the plot now. CD18 and although I've been temping I'm not sure I've ovulated yet because my temps are all over the place. Ah well. We'll see what happens in about 2 weeks time.

So how's everyone else?
