Evening Liskey, just wanted to say so sorry to hear about your Gran. Hope you're ok, and that the funeral is as nice as these things can be. [hugs]

PL

Liskey · 24/05/2009 21:48

Cheers Pistachio - don't think it'll be till next week (when we're meant to be on holiday as well - only in the UK though).

Keep trying to think of haapy memories at the mo - and not how she was today.

Liskey · 24/05/2009 22:01

Its not really been the greatest of days - just came back from visiting and found a speeding ticket waiting in the post. Though DH has just worked out its him (and he can't get anymore I've told him otherwise he'll be in danger of having to retake his test).

proudestmummyever · 24/05/2009 22:17

Oh Liskey soo sorry to hear about yr gran {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Tht is sad

PL: We did get some sun here, but dreading tmrw, the council coming to basically rip my house apart, have water damage everywhere dwnstairs because of boiler bursting more than a year ago, they told me oh yeah fine to redecorate lay new carpets etc, blah blahblah...well wasn't, and the damp started coming thru my walls and floors, the place is ruined, hope we get bk to normal soon, so upset about it

Still TTC however, hopefully take my mind off it and the work in house doesn't take long, and hope to god I can stay here as work is done

Hope every1 else ok

Liskey · 24/05/2009 22:33

Sorry to hear about you house pme - hope its all fixed soon. We had our downstairs replastered last year and the mess and smell was awful - hope things are better for you.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 25/05/2009 09:22

Liskey im sorry to hear about your gran we are all here for you if you need to cry or rant or anything.

PME good kluck with the council work hope they finish it nice and fast for you!

Lemon - not sure about early scan, first priority is getting past the 6 weeks since MC stage, which is Friday coming and its all a day by day stage at the moment. No idea how to work our how far along I am either which is frustrating all i know is i have sore boobs, peeing more than usual, hormones are doing ok ive not been super bitch i dont think. I'd love to do another test but we cant afford to I get paid in 3 weeks time and hopefully i can buy a digi test by then. But the only reason i would really need to test is if i get any bleeding or anything like that and touch wood all is good atm.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 25/05/2009 11:18

Ok guys just been to tescos they have thier tests on offer again 4 tests for £9!!

I bought one pack only, resisted buying 4 as i knew i didnt need that many and got the biggest BFP ever. In all the tests its never been so clear and dark, i've been in tears and DH was with me watching the test, the line came up within 15 seconds which is fastest time ever!

I'm over the moon and have decided now no more im pregnant but..... Its now an Im pregnant

I know it sounds silly but the tests i did before my MC none were this clear and fast and so now next step is to see how far along we are, and no im not doing the dash to EPU either. Thankyou all for all your support when i had my MC its really appreciated!! xx

PistachioLemon · 25/05/2009 11:37

iate, thats great news, congrats.

liskey, im sorry about yoyur gran

how is everyone else today?

well, am CD9 and scan tomorrow to see how my follicles are simmering along. im dreading it. hate scans. hate docs peering between my legs as if i have a freaky vagina. and to make it worse, i even have to wax because i dont want them to gossip about the undergrowth. still, at least my mood swings have settled down a bit

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 26/05/2009 09:17

lissie good luck for tommorrow!! Dont worry about the undergrowth lmao im sure their not wanting to look at that

OracleInaCoracle · 26/05/2009 09:41

hmm, im not so sure. when i was 38w pg with ds i booked for a wax at 40w, went into hospital the next day and ended up with a cs and an nhs razor job twas v undignified!

Clwc · 26/05/2009 09:52

Condolences to Liskey for the loss of your Gran. She's not suffering or waiting anymore.

Well done iate That kind of news puts a thorn in smile on everyone's face

I just realised: You'll be an iateallthecreameggsyummy mummy

xx

PistachioLemon · 26/05/2009 10:29

Morning all!

Lissie, I worry about these things too! When I had appendicitus I nearly died of shame when they told me that they would take care of things (ie put in a catheter) in case I needed to go to the loo during the operation. I begged them not to and said (as my appendix was bursting) that I would go to the loo first. And all because I hadn't had a wax. Needless to say they just laughed at me and said that they had seen everything before and not to worry!

Clwc - LOL at iateallthecreameggsyummy mummy! Perfect!

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 26/05/2009 10:50

eww razor, maybe a wax may be a good idea.......

LOL at clwc - yummy mummy i like the sound of that!
Suffering with morning sickness a little the last couple days (i think thats what it is anyway!?) like travel sickness esp when im in the car im just feeling sick though at the moment not actually being sick, taking it all as good signs.
Tempted to call the midwife today and see what to do about working out dates etc but i dont want to be bothering then unnessasarily.
My sister is adamant that im alot further along than what i think but im thinking about 5 weeks or so.......
Hope your all having a nice day so far i have 3 days of to chill!
Had to stop DH buying a baby alarm yesterday along with some nursing bras for me on sale in Lidl his reasoning is we should buy bits here and there whenever we see something we might need wheras i think hes shooting the gun a bit, what do you all think??

PistachioLemon · 26/05/2009 11:02

Morning iate yummy mummy.

Obviously I know nothing (not having been pg) but I think I would be tempted to call the midwife and see what they advise about working out dates. They won't think you are bothering them unnecessarily, especially with your history. Why does your sister think you're further on than you think by the way?

Re buying things as you go along - it makes sense, but I'm kind of supersticious so I probably would't. Lots of people I know have though so it's probably just me being silly.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your three day chilling session!

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 26/05/2009 11:43

Ooops Lemon looks like i should have called midwife earlier! Shes booked me in for an appointment next wednesday and said by my symptoms it sound like i could be a couple of months pregnant! Not sure how she has worked out those dates but she is going to do the paperwork for me to have an early scan too.
I thought i was only about 4/5 weeks or so! she said tests can show up early in pregnancy but symptoms like sore boobs and sickness tends to come along a little later .
I'll go along with what she says on the basis that i might find out when lil bubbs is due sooner than i had hoped!!

PistachioLemon · 26/05/2009 11:48

Oh, that's wonderful news. Bring on next Wednesday!

Clwc · 26/05/2009 16:25
