New thread ladies. For those that don't know this is a thread to discourage early testing, dissapointment and bank loans!!

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 16:54

Hehe....I am stepping away seriously...if I see another test(at least til af due) I will scream...thanku nunnie, that means a lot

Liskey · 10/04/2009 16:59

Hi

Welcome to the thread pme - sorry about your mc's and keep away from the tests

I've some cheapie's in the bathroom drawer and kep thiking I wonder what the earliest I can test is - though I know full well that when I was pergnant I didn't have BFP till about 10 - 14 days late anyway.

The thread helps - at least I try and retain some sanity with it!

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 17:36

Afternoon all.
This seems like a nice thread so wondered if i could join in?

Wont beet around the bush me and my DP have been TTC DC1 for about 10month. Been haveing problems with ovulating. . We have a GOF very very regularly, but still no luck. Also, i have been getting very of people around me that are already pg or people who already have a DC, but oh well. I am currently on CD10. So just waiting for ovulatiuon CM if it ever arrives.

nunnie · 10/04/2009 17:49

Hello K4MTTC, welcome, I already have one DC after many years of trying, so I don't feel towards people with children but I did when ttc #1. You are not alone on here there a many wonderful ladies who are struggling to get pregnant with their first and I have been there as I am sure others on here have. Don't give up hope please, keep coming on here and we will try and lift your spirits if you are feeling low, which many if not all ttc's feel at some point. Have you been to your GP about your ovulations problems?
Fingers crossed for a poitive month

Liskey STEP AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 17:59

Thanku liskey, I have 3 tests in my cupboard!! AND ordered 2 more from tescos earlier with my shopping .....u know, I was just thinking, when I fell pregnant with my dd,(my first dc) I wasn't at ALL obsessive and waited a whole 2 weeks after missed period to test and got the BFP, I fell pregnant that very mnth we tried(prev partner), bn with DP 6 years(ds's daddy) and my dd,7 calls him daddy...but when trying for my ds OMG, I was soo bad for testing, took 7 mnths to fall pregnant with him...and my most recent miscarriage, Jan 08, I fell preg in a mnth, WTF?!

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 18:08

hello ladies, cant believe we need a new thread!

PME, it sounds like you have been through the mill, have you been referred? rmc is devestating and affects the way you look at ttc.

K4Mttc, have you seen your gp about your ov probs?

am 8d into 2ww, good job i dont think ive ov'd otherwise i would be idly staring at hpt ads about now

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 18:10

hey lissielouwithbunnyears no i havn't yet but i have been thinking about it. not sure wheather to go now or wait till me and DP have been trying for 12month.

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 18:13

what makes you think you have ov probs? are you using predictor kits? (and you can call me lissie, its much easier )

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 18:16

oki lol and you can call me kay.
no i dont use predictors but i do use a FC.
and my BBT is all over the place. and when i should be ovulating i dont have any CM.
my CM seems to go like this:
AF
creamy white
dry
creamy white
AF

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 18:21

hmm, migt be worth having a word with your gp and requesting day 21 tests, just in case. maybe try a homeopathist. angus castus may help you.

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 18:25

i have been looking at different vitex [angus castus] products. unfortunatly dont really have any money to buy anything atm.
also i have been considering going to the GP but not sure if i should wait until me and DP have been trying for 12month.

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 18:27

i have also been looking at FertileAid.

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 18:27

would prob give it a shot now tbh. are your period regular?

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 18:29

yerr pritty much. i get them every month. just have different cycle lengths.

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 18:33

def go to see gp then. they should at least run some bloods.

Kay4MattTTC · 10/04/2009 18:36

well am giving it some thort. might go get myself an appointment sometime next week mybe.

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 18:45

think you should.

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 19:17

Hi lissielouwithbunnyears, thanks for yr kind words, I was referred but didnt go as my ds's probs were being looked into at the time, and I thought it would tie in with my mc's.

The geneticist says tht he thinks my mc's were just unlucky, and that it has no connection with what my ds has, also the guy who did my 2nd d+c sed he thought I'd bn very unlucky...but if I have another mc I think I will give up, and I will be getting all the relevant prenatal tests in regards to ds's disorder even though less than 1% chance....have bn through the mill, defo, but getting there

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 19:25

can you go for your tests? it may help. i have had 8 mc's and an ep and have had every test undxer the sun. sometimes it helps to just rule things out.

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 20:25

Hey, I could go for tests yes...scared I suppose, I will try ths time, see hw it goes and then get tests, if god forbid same happens again...

I am soo soo sorry to hear about yr losses lissielouwiththerabbitears....it is terrible isn't it? Did u get to the bottom of them? So u don't have any dc? xx

lissielouwithbunnyears · 10/04/2009 20:42

i have 1 ds who is nearly 4. all my losses have been since he was born, but it took years ttc him. nothing they can do. havent found anything, no clotting, no chromosone probs. but my cs was a crash and v traumatic.so pretty sure its got something to do with that. had uterine group b strep and bladder was put in wrong place.

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 20:53

Sorry whats cs?? You had a crash? Soo sorry to hear that..I will go for tests, petrified though

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 20:58

I had group b strep with Jack too...

proudestmummyever · 10/04/2009 21:01

Hehe sorry...must not have bn paying attention a few posts up I called you "lissielouwiththerabbitears"!!! Instead of "lissielouwithbunnyears" haaha
