Hi Paddington21 it's actually Georgimama who's having a horrible period, I hope she feels better soon too.

I'm just having a whinge as I can't see usual signs of ovulation... grrrr!

Also relieved that i'm not as dumb as those on the Apprentice... those sandwiches looked TERRIBLE!!!!!

Morning ladies, hope everyone is feeling OK, especially georgimama & paddington21.

Managed to avoid football & apprentice last night, & spent ages sorting out photos on the PC - whoo hoo, all rock n roll in my house.

Actually trying to do ANYTHING to avoid symptom spotting. Don't usually get hooked up on that but just feel different this month - I know that sounds crazy.

AF not even due yet, let alone late so have ages before I'm going to think about testing.

Argh!!

Hope everyone has a good day, x

'm feeling positive about us all this month!
I'm off to the nurse tonight to check out my low temps and get general pre-conception advice. Thought the appointment was 7:30 this morning so trotted along, rang the bell til someone appeared only to find out its 7:30 tonight.
Yumyum dont feel guilty - we all need to vent somewhere. You are following your heart and 36 is not too old ( I hope as I'm 36 too!).
Hows Georgi and Paddington feeling now?
Wasabi and MRSJ, how are you doing?
I'm still pre-ov, but have bought my first set of OPKs and just waiting for the EWCM before I whip them out and start BDing like a mad thing. Exhausted thinking about it
Then I'll be joining you symptom spotters for a major obsession drive. Bring it on!

Hi ladies - thanks for your concern, this must be the non viper corner of MN!

I'm feeling a bit better, I'm at work today but very washed out. I don't know if this has been a bug or something I've eaten, but about once a year I do have a horrific period coupled with stomach pains, bloatiness, wind (sorry!) - you name it. So it may have been that.

MrsJM - have you hopped off the bus or are you lurking somewhere? Any news?

hiya, happy april everyone!

yum i understand what you mean about getting frustrated with waiting for ov. signs. i'm still bf ds and i have no clue if i'm even having normal cycles yet. af comes pretty regularly but all other signs that i'm actually fertile are non-existent. i just hate the guessing game. i thought i'd be much more excited about ttc and i'm already turning obsessive. urgh i hate feeling like this!

hope you're feeling better georgimama and paddington

glad to hear you're excited about this month donttry how did the appointment with the nurse go? any advice to share with the rest of us?

Hey Girls - please can I hop on the bus? Is there a bar at the back? Was hoping to buy a drink for all those I've been with on previous buses. I was forced off the Nov 2009 bus at last orders when my doc put me on the pill for a month (- did THAT cycle drag on!) so that I could start a cycle aided by fertility drugs....so this is me:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to occupy my mind rather then symptom spot????

Report
pandapop · 02/04/2009 20:22

Hello again, a quick question for any symptom spotters. Is is possible to ovulate early after an early mc? Am sure I saw some egg-white type stuff last weekend when only CD7/8 (sorry if TMI!).

Am now CD 12 but had early mc last month and feel cycle is way out of sync.

Anyone else been in the same boat? Have started on the ovulation pack, but a bit useless if it's already been and gone!

Report
LuckySalem · 02/04/2009 20:33

Oh sorry Georgi. I dont know how I did that. Must have been from copying and pasting. Will try not to buggar it up again

Report
donttrythisathome · 02/04/2009 20:41

Panda, I don't know but i don't see why not. It's possible to ovulate early any month I'd say but EWCM could also make an appearance if your body was trying to ovulate and doesn't. It may be your cycle is adjusting to the hormones from mc. One of the other passengers may be able to give you some proper advice!

I'm back from the nurse and she said my temps were probably normal for me, and if I had hypothyroidism I'd have irregular periods, which I don't.

She booked me in for various tests anyway, progesterone etc as I asked her to. Must say she was really helpful and nice .

Good tip she gave me is that I should BD every 2-3 days, not just around ovulation as this will keep the sperm fresh.

EEK...

Report
pandapop · 02/04/2009 20:59

Thanks for that, will just have to try BD every 2-3 days for freshness -blimey!

Blocka · 02/04/2009 22:08

Hi panda, I had an early mc in Jan and my cyce has been all to pot - last month I was also convinced I ov on about day 8 because there was definate EWCM. So, this month I bought some OPKs and I am on day 10 but no sign of the EWCM and no smiley face on my stick!

I think it takes a couple of months to get back to normal - thats not to say you can't get pg straight way, but you just aren't sure when you are oving.

I think donttrythis's tip is the best one to - do it every couple of days just to be sure. Not tonight though, I am wrecked!!!

Report
Blocka · 02/04/2009 22:09

oh, and I did the same thing, bought the ov kit last month but missed the boat.

You see, you think you are all alone in this and here we all are doing exactly the same thing x

Have a good feeling about this month though! If I was to get PG it would be exactly two years since I got PG with DD which would be nice. So feeling quite optimistic. Hope everyone is feeling good and has a stress-free weekend.
