I think I am CD35 or thereabouts.

I just dont want to waste a test, but then again I dont know if I have the strength to wait another Day!!

Bubblebell1 · 05/04/2009 10:14

if you are on cd35 then you can test at anytime of day, only if your testing early does it need to be a first morning sample. (think that was on the clearblue box when i tested last time.)

im excited for you , i dont know how u have waited this long. im proud of ya!!

MrsMc82 · 05/04/2009 18:10

Hi All... I'd love to join you too - am 26 and just started trying too - bit overwhelmed at how much I can't stop thinking about TTC......

We're trying for our first and this is the first cycle that we've tried. Am on CD18 at mo- dreading driving myself even more mad over next 10 - 14 days when period is due (usually due on CD 28 - 32) I know I ovulated on 15/16 as am using a persona (and have been as contraception for last year or so) and we BD'd on day 12 16 and 17. Just waiting now and trying to remind myself not to get too excited as almost never happens on the first try....

xx

seanybosmummy · 06/04/2009 09:21

Hi MrsMc , Good luck for this month! It would be fantastic if you manage to conceive 1st time and save yourself of the stress of am i/arn't i every month . me+dp have been trying for 11 months so i'm at the point of arrrrrrggggggggghhhhhh at the mo .

Have you recovered from the shock of the party yet bubble? . I'd say you were preeeety tired afterwards lol

Ant any news?????

Antdamm · 06/04/2009 10:14

BFN

maybe its just a repeat of last month.
Am ordering some tests off net, so will wait til they arrive to test again.

Bubblebell1 · 06/04/2009 10:32

Morning girls!

hi and welcome mrsmc. i wish you all the luck in the world on this ttc rollercoaster fingers crossed you get lucky first time.. i did with my ds' but this time im not so lucky ive been ttc since oct and af is due this weekend so fingers crossed for me too.

Ant im so sorry. i was sure you would get a +ive this morn. perhaps you have ovd later than first thought and a bfp is too early to show up.

seany im fully recovered from the party . but now i have the easter holidays to contend with!!!!!! im taking the boys out today to make the most of the sunny weather.

how is everyone.... im due on this wkend and keep thinking thataf is just not gonna show up and not have a bfp either. i can never tell if ived ovd even when i use opks.. there is always that doubt iykwim??? i wish that it was more obvious when you ov. like your hair changed colour or something!!

seanybosmummy · 06/04/2009 13:27

Ant im so sorry, but its not over til af arrives so don't give up hope!! xx

lol bubble i like that idea!! Though i don't think i like the idea of everyone being able to physically see that im fertile

How is everyone else today?

MumOfBaby · 07/04/2009 08:04

I'm pregnant!!!!!!!! I only just joined.

Remember I said the witch had arrived? It disappeared. Then when we had 'BD' or whatever lol, there was a little bit.

DP just knew (again) and went out to get me a test and it was positive last night! I took another two, both positive, 1-2 weeks since conception, and then took a cheap test after I'd drunk loads and loads of water but it was negative- then ages later showed up positive. Weird.

Anyway, 3 were positive so I'm preg lol.

Only thing is, we get married abroad in 20 weeks- a) is my dress going to fit, B) are there any problems around flying? There are lots of people going and it's been a very dear do so I don't want to have to cancel it. But I'm sure it'll be fine won't it?

Even though I wanted to start trying for a baby, we've only had sex three times this month, and we actually avoided ovulation time because of the wedding. We just said if it happens we won't be disappointed sort of thing. And it was our first proper month of no condoms. Had such a stressful month with Ofsted and moving house and stuff, I didn't think for a second it'd happen.

I'm so nervous lol.

And giddy.

DS is 10 months old so it's going to be a case of 2 under 2!

My best friend has been trying for a year and I told her I would start properly 'trying' until July (which was true) so she's probably going to be a little peeved, but she's really nice so I'm sure she'll be fine.

Better go and see if an antenatal thread has started for xmas babies!

I wish you all loads of luck and I'm sending baby dust your way. It will happen, don't fret!

seanybosmummy · 07/04/2009 09:28

Hi everyone!

Congratulations mumof!!!! thats great news, really pleased for you!! What is your due date? you must be quite confused as to the date with af showing up last week and then disappearing again. How long was the witch there for?

joy did you enjoy your minibreak?

Ant how are you feeling today? hope you and ds are better.

Just wondering if anyone can shed a bit of light on something for me. I had spotting and old blood on 27th+28th March and Af arrived in full flow on 29th(7days late) which means im now on cd 10,going on 1st day of full flow. I usually have a regular 30 day cycle. Yesterday I had some pinky cm and alot of cramps, some really sharp ones. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

MumOfBaby · 07/04/2009 10:16

Due 10th Dec. Just had a bit of blood when i wiped and then the next day a tiny bit of black blood.

Have you done a test? My friend is having periods through her pregnancy.

Bubblebell1 · 07/04/2009 12:55

Morning ladies!

Mumofbaby thats brilliant news! congratulations

Seany sorry i dont know what it could be. i know that when i had my mc at 6wks in feb it started with spotting and then full flow then my whole cycle was wierd.. short and crampy. maybe something similar has happened to you? since feb ive been noting all my symptoms in the hope that it will shed some light into whats causing my irregular cycles.

im on cd24, i dont feel pg. im just waiting now to test on fri mon. thats it AF doesnt arrive first!

how is everyone else?

seanybosmummy · 07/04/2009 13:45

Thanks bubble it's all so . I'll be keeping everything crossed for you xx

mumof i think i had a chemical pg last month as i got a bfp then a bfn and a bfn blood test, but af was a week late so im just totally pissed off with it all.

Antdamm · 07/04/2009 14:05

Hey Ladies,

Congrats MumofBaby

Today I have a splitting headache and i think my cold is finally moving on. Small Yay.
Think tests will come in post tomorrow, so will retest on thursday.

I still have no feeling the AF is on her way, am hoping that its not another long wait for her to arrive - giving me false hope.

Maybe, my long wait will be 9months. [crazed lady emoticon]

Hold in there Bubble

MrsMc82 · 07/04/2009 16:56

congrats MumofBaby from me too

Thanks for the luck ladies... will think good thoughts for you all too

xx

ray81 · 07/04/2009 17:24

Seany - I believe it could be Ovulation get bding !!!! the book i have says that some women have cramps and blood when Ovulating.

Mumofbaby - congratulations thats realy good news however the 3rd test that you did could be an evoporation line they say not to read tests after half an hr for this reason.
You are ok to fly from 16 weeks so you shouldnt have a problem with the wedding although not sure the dress will fit at that stage

Bubble i realy realy hope that youu get your BFP this month. How are you felling!!!!

Mrsmc Hi hope you have good luck this month, think i replied to you on another thread i realy hope it has worked for you.

Ant - its not over until Af arrives you never know you could have Ovulated later than you thought and therefore i would test in a few days.

Well today is 6 weeks to the day and the 2mc before the one in nov i started bleeding dead on 6 weeks to the day in the morning and the last one was at 5 and a half weeks. I have been fine today (touch wood) i relay hope this is all a good sign that everything is going to be ok.
Am very very tired and was sick yesterday, have been feeling alittle sick today but have not been sick so that is good. Feel like i could fall asleep wher i stand.
Am not maoning guys am very happy i have all these symptoms and long may it continue.

MumOfBaby · 08/04/2009 09:08

Hi all. Did another test yesterday and it was positive, and another this morning and the line was even darker positive. So I guess it's true. That's 6 tests now lol.

Going to the doctors tomorrow morning and I actually feel really nervous which is weird. Think I'm expecting someone to say I'm just dreaming it lol.

Thanks for all the congratulations.

Ray, hope today goes well for you. You're the first person I've ever come across who is enjoying morning sickness, but as you said, long way it continue

seanybosmummy · 08/04/2009 09:16

Ray i thought thats what it might be though i was a bit confused cause it seems to be a bit early for ovulation doesn't it? I think if af had came on time this wouldve been the time i would technically be ov [fed up trying to guess emotion], im just taking each day as it comes+staying positive (though we did get bding last nite ). Ray you are being very brave, pg symptoms are in full flow for you, just keep your chin up, I know everything will work out for you this time!!! xxxxx

Ant good luck for tomorrow . Ray is right, you def could have ov'd late and therefore not show pos yet

How is everyone else today?

Bubblebell1 · 08/04/2009 10:40

Hey girls!

hope your well..

Ray im keeping everything crossed that this pg is the 1 that lasts . im sure that it will but i know how nerve wracking this first trimester is.

Ant glad your feeling better.

Seany if it is ov then u better get at it

im ok, got the horrible pre af pains and am in a bad mood, af will be here soon. i can tell.

ray81 · 08/04/2009 10:53

Mumof - congratulations on the further +ive its such exciting news isnt it and i know the feelings of excitment and nervousness.
Personally i havent been to the docs as yet, i am under the EPU and have a scan booked for the 17th which is a week fri but am going to go in and make an appointment with the doc for either tomorrow or tues, will be 7 weeks on tues and down here we see the MW at 8 weeks so wont have long to wait for that and then further scan at 12 weeks so pefully should go quickly. I start a new job on the 20th and will be 8 weeks so with the training and everything it should help to keep my mind off it all.
Feeling sick again today am so pleased, obviously i would rather not have the MS as didnt have it with DD but if its a choice of this or Mc then i choose this!!! was up 4 times last night to go to the toilet (god knows what i will be like when i am further along) so am feeling incredibly tired, i could go on holiday with the bags under my eyes .

Seany, have you has EWCM as well, if you have then i would say you are def ovulating. The thing is although i may be early this month the times you Ov could be different every month, i know myself that my cycles ranged from 28 to 35 days and therefore has quite a big window. Even when i was on the clomid my cycles changed even though i took the tablets at the same time. the first time i took them i Ov on cd14 the next time it was cd13 and i fell then Mc and this time i was cd15. I think our bodies just do what they want to. another thing you should do is work out yur LP (time from Ov til Af) it can range between 10-16 days i was 16 days and therefore knew after Ov when to expect af, i wasnt left wondering then when it would arrive and if i was late could test i found it helped so much as wasnt left wondering every month why i was late. I hope this helps and would just recommend that you bd as much as you can over the next week or so.

seanybosmummy · 08/04/2009 13:14

thanks ray that info is really helpful, i did have ewcm yest so i guess i am ov! yippee lol i was in a big bad mood with dp last night and was in no mood to bd but had him bding anyway which is awful of me .

I also just found out this morning that my sil is pg with #2 and although i am so pleased for her, i am jealous and upset .

Im sure your relishing the pg symptoms ray even though they are horrible .

bubble don't lose hope xx

Joy27 · 08/04/2009 14:50

Hello!

I'm back, had a fab time but have come back to some pretty high drama at work (am still on leave but getting phone calls which are stressing me out). Each time I get some time off work I feel so much more relaxed- I wonder whether stress is holding me back ttc-wise.

There's so much to catch up on- I'll have to go back and read the thread and see what's happening. In the mean time I hope all are well and everything going to plan!

I'm on CD17 at the moment, had EWCM on CD15, so not quite out of the game yet.

Ant from a quick scan of the posts, I gather you are waiting to test. Any news? (Apols if I've got wires crossed)

Antdamm · 08/04/2009 15:03

Hey Ladies,

Tests arrived in post this afternoon. So, will be retesting tomorrow. (fingers crossed)
Do you think I should hold off til Friday/Saturday to test? In case(banging head against wall at craziness) I have ov'd late??

Joy - Glad you are back. I expect you were busy
Re your job - is it always high stress? Or is it a busy time of year for you? Will it be calming down anytime soon?

Bubble - as you have said to me. Its not over until she shows up. Dont give up.

ray81 · 08/04/2009 19:05

Joy welcome back glad you had a nice time.

Re the stress - my old job used to be very stressfull and funnily enough i feel in Nov just before i was made redundant, although knew from July that i was leaving in Nov so had chilled completely and then have fallen 4 months later, everyone has been saying to me what a different person i am so much more relaxed and chilled about everything. I cant say for sure that the stress stopped me falling but i would bet that it contributed.

Been having some pains today, nothing too bad but its making me paranoid that am going to lose - please please let me keep this little one.

seanybosmummy · 08/04/2009 21:55

Hi joy welcome back,im glad you have came back nice and relaxed . that sucks that you are being bombarded with work issues though, they obviously can't cope without you-do you think it will settle down soon?

ray hopefully it is just your womb stretching that is causing the pains, i had pretty bad ones when i was pg with ds and the epu told me thats prob what they were.

ant do you think you could contain yourself until fri or sat???? what cd are you on now?

Hope everyone else are well. Ive been on a healthy eating diet since monday and im DYING for a bar of chocolate (im a choc addict ) but have had to settle myself with an orange instead booooooo

Bubblebell1 · 09/04/2009 08:04

morning girls!

welcome back joy! glad you had a good time, shame about work tho but proves how wonderful you are

Ray try not to worry about the pains, im sure they are just normal early pg pains. i was told that with each subsiquent pg you feel the aches and pains more so perhaps that what it is. When i was pg with ds2 i had terrible pains and went to hosp. thinking the worst and they saw him on a scan well it looked like a prawn but it turned out to be him

hows things Seany? ant have you tested?

i woke early this morn i feel sick. not like im going to be sick but queasy iykwim?
af isnt here yet but still have cramps and its cd26 today!! this time last cycle af was here so im gonna wait til monday to test but i dont hold out much hope.

its ds1s 8th birthday today! i cant believe how quickly its gone!

hope your all well..
