Josie22 · 05/02/2009 12:12

Hi - please can I join. Am 29 and in first month of TTC. Feeling rather baby obsessed at the moment as having cramps (not af ones as a week too early) and felt sick this morning. Sure its in my head but...

bubblebell1 · 05/02/2009 13:01

hi josie! good luck trying.. hope you get lucky

oneyummymummy · 05/02/2009 18:31

HI EVERYONE! Where has everyone gone....this thread is getting a little quiet and slowing down a lot.

I think it may be because everyone is waiting for ovulation and once this comes aeround, we will all be back on for advice, moaning and hopeing!

Hi josie Good luck, baby dust your way. Is this your first? Where abouts are you?

Antdamm · 06/02/2009 11:09

Hi all,

Ive been hiding a bit, because Im driving myself a bit mad. I have felt naseous (sp?) a couple of times over the last two days - usually late at night/early in morning. So who knows. Will be getting another hpt tonight at the shops - to see once and for all.

Surely, since am 18days late now, if i were pg, it would be a strong positive and not a feint one?????

Anyway, it started snowing again yesterday, so i have been playing in it with my wee boy and the neighbours kids. But the rain does keep comin (its Ireland) and washing some of it away, but its been snowing again this morning. Yay

Antdamm · 06/02/2009 11:10

Sorry forgot to ask, how is everyone else?

When is AF due for all, are any of u on the 2ww??

fairyanne · 06/02/2009 13:09

Hi,
Please can I join, I'm 27 and TTC our first baby. I'm now on cycle 4 and am so happy/ relieved as finally an ovulation test showed lines ! I had been starting to think it would never happen as have been on the rollercoaster of interpreting cramps, spotting etc each month without knowing when I have been ovulating. Good luck to everyone I hope it's our month!

p.s. I'm CD9 UCL 29

oneyummymummy · 06/02/2009 15:10

Hi ant make sure you let us know! Im sure by now it should be a strong line but I think it really depends on each person!

Welcome fairy Sounds like you have got into the swing of things. I think maybe I should invest in ovulation tests, but they are so damm expensive I think I would give up after a month!

I think we should start a new list, I cant find the last one... I'll start it off....

Hello, I am 28 and we're going to start TTC in April. Good luck everyone.

Blues · 07/02/2009 12:22

Hi there, I'm new to this. I'm 30 and have been trying the past year. Getting a bit stressed about it now as a lot of my friends seem to be pregnant or already have babies and I'm starting to feel a bit left out. I've started doing the ovulation kits but they didnt detect a LH surge so now I'm starting to panic. Anyone else out there that has experienced this? I'm now starting to think that I'm not actually releasing any eggs even though I do get the signs of ovulation i.e discharge / pains.

altagloria · 07/02/2009 12:33

Hi everyone, have been reading for a few weeks but this is my first post.

I'm 29 and TTC #1. I was on the pill for about ten years and came off it at the start of December last year. Had one period at start of Jan meaning I'm now on CD35... no sign of AF but I don't know how long my cycle is so I can't say I'm late!

I felt like I ovulated a couple of weeks ago - had a pain I remember from before I was on the pill and cervical mucus changed for a few days. Did BD a few times around that time.

Should I test yet or wait a bit longer? Feel like nothing's happening at the moment, with no symptoms of pg or AF!

bubblebell1 · 07/02/2009 16:51

Hi to fairy blues broody and altagloria good luck and i hope your all lucky soon

alta i came off the pill in oct and didnt get AF til jan 4th. im on cd35 too and no AF and no BFP.. i hope its completly dif for you. if u think its been 2 wks since u ovulated then u can test it should show up

altagloria · 07/02/2009 16:57

Hi bubblebell thanks.

I think I might try tomorrow morning with first wee but am convinced it'll be negative cos I don't feel any different!

Sorry you have no AF or BFP either... I guess the body can take a while to sort itself out after years on the pill. Hope it doesn't take you long though, good luck.

And good luck to everyone on here too

oneyummymummy · 07/02/2009 19:46

Hi blues and altergloria and broody Yay, more TTC buddies!

Baby Dust to all, Ive tried to update list....hope I got it right

Altergloria TTC#1 Cylce1 CD35 UCL?
Bubblebell1 TTC#3 Cycle2 CD35 UCL???
oneyummymummy TTC#2 Cycle3 CD10 UCL???
fairyanne TTC#1 Cycle4 CD9 UCL29
Blues TTC#1 Cycle12 CD? UCL?
Broody TTC#1 Cylce? CD? UCL?

Any news from ant? bubble have you tested again?

alter you should be able to get a BFP, that is if you did ov two weeks ago? If your not sure then it could be a long cycle after the pill? I hope its not the latter.

broody good luck for April, Im sure I will still be here TTC, so I look forward to us agonising together!

blues sorry to hear that its taking a little while for you. Hopefully the support you will get on here will help you to get a BFP!

oneyummymummy · 07/02/2009 19:49

alter forgot to say.....Don't forget to let us know how it goes tomorrow!

We expect an update as soon as you can see a result .....forget your DP....we want to know FIRST

altagloria · 07/02/2009 21:05

oneyummymummy I will! Getting excited about it, trying to reign it in though given the much higher chance of getting a BFN...

It's possible it's a long cycle, back in the mists of time I remember having quite a long cycle. And it wasn't regular either unfortunately.

Baby dust for all...

oneyummymummy · 08/02/2009 08:46

alter SNAP! My cycles aren't regular either....bit of a guessing game really! That is probably why I should try Ov kits.

OOOOOOO....you must have tested by now.....fingers crossed.

altagloria · 08/02/2009 08:48

OMG BFP.

On Clearblue test not a cheapie so should be reliable... but should I do a second one to make sure? Only had one so will have to send DH out to the shop in his pyjamas!

I'm seeing my mum and dad this afternoon, is it too early to tell them or should we just go for it, I don't think I can go through the afternoon without the stunned expression I have on my face just now and questions will be asked.

They don't know we were trying but my mum has been desperate to be a granny since I hit puberty well not quite but not far off.

bubblebell1 · 08/02/2009 09:44

OMG ALTA im so pleased congratulations yes it is def reliable i would tell them.. ive even told everyone we r trying to concieve shout it from the roof tops

altagloria · 08/02/2009 09:57

Thank you bubblebell!

I think I will have to tell them. Will take ear plugs for me and DH as she may get dangerously high-pitched.

Can't quite believe it myself.

I really hope you get your BFP soon bubble, I'm sure you'll have no probs once the pill-effects have worn off.

altagloria · 08/02/2009 11:19

oneyummymummy sorry was in a bit of a tizz earlier.

Damn those irregular cycles. I was starting to chart my temperature but not till a few days ago so I don't know if it would have told me when ovulation was. The kits are probably worth a try.

Good luck

Joy27 · 08/02/2009 13:40

Hi ladies!

Back from my snowy holiday now- it was great, and I didn't obsess or even think about ttc although I was on the 2ww. Now of course can think of little else.

Lots has been happening on this thread- a bit much to keep up with so I'll just say hello to the newcomers, congrats to Altergloria and fingers crossed for the rest of us! How is everyone?

I'm on CD30 and trying not to hope too desperately. Since my mc last July my cycles have been 28 days max- APART from last month when it was 31. So I can't read much into it- and I think I can feel that my period is on its way

My boyfriend is getting his hopes up a bit too. He is symptom spotting more than me. TBH I tend to spot period syptoms rather than pg. I just can't dare to believe I could be pg.

If is af not here by Tues I'll test I think.

Antdamn and bubblebell- what news? I know you were both in limbo. Anyone else waiting for af or bfp?

That's enough from me. Here's the latest list:

Altergloria TTC#1 Cylce1 CD35 UCL?
Bubblebell1 TTC#3 Cycle2 CD35 UCL???
oneyummymummy TTC#2 Cycle3 CD10 UCL???
fairyanne TTC#1 Cycle4 CD9 UCL29
Blues TTC#1 Cycle12 CD? UCL?
Broody TTC#1 Cylce? CD? UCL?
Joy27 TTC#1 Cycle 7 since mc CD30

Antdamm · 08/02/2009 14:28

Hey ladies,

I only managed to get an hpt late last night as we were snowed in, couldnt even get into town - roads were icy as hell.

So, did hpt this morning and it was a BFN, so I am convinced that I'm definitely not PG. But I cant explain why I am 3wks late and did have a BFP a couple of weeks ago, and a somewhat feint line last week.

So im depressed and confused. I hope others are having a better time of it.

Congrats Alta!!!

Joy27 · 08/02/2009 14:34

Antdamn poor you. Have you been to your GP? There's nothing more confusing than not knowing what's going on with your body, especially where ttc and pregnancy are involved. I think many of us here have had some horribly confusing experience, whether it's a mc, neverending cycles or whatever. So feel free to offload here. And get to your doc to see if he/she can help you understand what's going on.
