Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

oh head im sorry.... i wont give up my day job to read tea leaves just yet

wish my af would come

HeadFairy · 09/12/2008 18:07

Well, it's stopped for now, but I'm feeling rather crampy so I think it's just a matter of time. Poor you. It's not often we think "I wish af would come". I don't know if it's the right thing to say, but I hope it comes soon. I'm off to stock up on Robitussin and grapefruit juice

spats · 09/12/2008 18:46

AF got me today as well. Felt very teary at work and was sent home coz crying. THink may have a bug as well. However does mean get to drink on my b'day on 20th and at the xmas party on 23rd and on xmas day. Also thanks (i think) to agnus castus i had a respectable 12 days luteal phase this month instead of a 10 , maybe 11 day, so next month if i take it again may do even better. Which thread you all going to, is there a sept one? x

bubblebell1 · 09/12/2008 18:48

aww spats im sorry that AF has turned up... there are 2 sept threads come and join

ThePippy · 09/12/2008 18:51

Hello, sorry for not responding to all the encouraging messages to me - I am under the control of the internet police at work and I didn't want them seeing me looking at conception chat rooms, and have been too busy in the evenings to even log on!

Well, I am home alone tonight (hubby at his Xmas party) with a stinking cold, and as I was feeling sorry for myself I decided it would be nice to have a glass (or several) of wine. However as I am CD 28 today with the visit from AF due tomorrow I figured I should cave in to the callings from the medicine cabinet and test just to make sure - I figured I would know it was BFN by tomorrow anyway so being disappointed a day early wouldn't matter.

Anyway, I am now shaking because I got a BFP!!!! I am very happy and very scared at the same time after loosing my last baby and only finding out at my 12 weeks scan. I don't know what to do with myself and I can't even talk to my hubby until tomorrow cos he will no doubt come in far too drunk to have a reasonable discussion with.

I do so desperately hope this one works out, I'm not sure I could cope with another loss!

Anyway, here is the updated list...Good luck to everyone else still awaiting their result for this month...

Really sorry spats, I posted that before I read your post. Sorry if I sounded really insensitive, I know how miserable it is when AF arrives!

bubblebell1 · 09/12/2008 18:56

CONGRATULATIONS thepip

im soo pleased its about time we had another BFP

sending sticky thoughts to you

HeadFairy · 09/12/2008 18:57

Aw, thepippy, that's great news, what a lovely suprise for you. You are good aren't you, I'd have just drunk the wine and then done a guilt test the next day. My spotting has stopped for now, so I'm not giving up just yet, but I'm also telling myself it's only a matter of time, so I'm not too disappointed when it does happen.

Sorry to hear about af spats I'll probably see you on the September thread in a few days.

ThePippy · 09/12/2008 19:08

Thanks girls.

Headfairy, I am not that good, but I just guilted myself into thinking everything I did caused the MC that I am super paranoid now.

Thanks for the sticky thoughts bubblebell1 - I hope they work!

I will have to go and lurk on the pregnancy room now too - how exciting!

spats · 09/12/2008 19:25

congrats thepip. Don't worry about crossing poss, i have done that also and made boobs in the past. Have fun on the pregnancy threads and good luck. x

smallone · 09/12/2008 19:28

Sorry to those who've been visited by AF

bubblebell Hugs to you, If I was you I wouldn't be able to do anything but bite my hands off. I hope you get your answer sooner rather than later. Good or bad.

Congrats to thepippy my cycle buddy, thats making me a bit twitchy to test tomorrow! But I'm resolved to wait til at least fri. So remind me of that!

wishing please send some of your patience my way! I hope you can keep as strong as you seem to be now.

ThePippy · 09/12/2008 19:47

Thanks SmallOne, and don't test yet! I only did it because of my need to drink wine at every opportunity

I will be thinking of you on Friday and sending lots of baby dust your way

Issy42 · 09/12/2008 19:59

Congratulations ThePippy .

Sorry to those whose AF arrived .

Thanks for the good wishes sans04, hope the plan works for you this month.

Wishing and bubblebell - hope you get some answers soon.

olivo · 09/12/2008 20:14

Congratulations, thepippy! great to hear some positive news.
sorry to those who AF has visited.
Is everyone off to hte spetmeber threads - am i going to be left all alone?
smallone, good luck for Friday.
ilovebeingamummy, if you're around, so sorry to hear your news.
still not sure what is going on in my cycle, thought i had ov-ed but now more ov symptoms! it can't happen nmore than once per cycle, can it?

HeadFairy · 09/12/2008 21:48

I'm still here olivo. So grimly determined that whatever month the next baby is born in he/she will damn well celebrate their birthday in August

Spotting has stopped I now have a very odd burning sensation behind my pubic bone. V odd, trying not to think about what it might be. It's prob cos I've been at my desk all day and these jeans aren't the loosest (or I'm not the slimmest )

HeadFairy · 09/12/2008 21:49

What other ov signs have you got olivo? I often get a second batch of ewcm after I've ov'd which is a hormonal blip I believe.

HomeintheSun · 10/12/2008 07:55

Congratulation ThePippy I'm still lurking waiting for the BD'ing to start CD10 today, I'm out babysitting tonight, Thurs, Fri and Sat so will have to find the time and energy to fit it in.

girlwithacurl · 10/12/2008 10:00

Congratulations thepippy really pleased for you. Hope it works out for you this time, I second the sticky thoughts!

Olivo I am still here... same as you not sure if I have ov'd yet as I thought I had, OPK's and EWCM, but no temperature rise yet... not sure what to think and poor DP is exhausted

bluesatinsash · 10/12/2008 12:59

Congrats thePippy!!! Feel free to join us on the ante-natal, there's lots of hand holding as quite a few of us have had mcs and need the extra support.

spats - sorry to hear the witch got you this month, but encouraging that your luteal phase is legnthening.

baby dust to all x

olivo · 10/12/2008 15:01

ooooh, headfairy, i hope it's implantation! lol at celebrating in August! I had more EWCM and a darkish line ( but not darker!)on an OPK - BUT they were out of date! today my temp has noticeably gone up, so maybe I've only just ov-ed. having realised that last week maybe wasn't it, we bd mon and tues night so i pray that we may have caught it.
girlwithacurl - my dh is a bit fed up of the BDing on demand! I had the same. pos OPK, EWCM and sharp pains, so no idea.
blue, nice to hear from you, hope all is well.

HeadFairy · 10/12/2008 15:56

It may well have been Olivo, all signs of af have gone away again. No spotting, nothing. So fingers crossed. I'm not testing til cd32, that's my lucky day, had two bfps on cd 32 so got to hang on until sunday at least. Gotta dash, I'm supposed to be on a course, will check in later.

smallone · 10/12/2008 16:01

Good luck everyone, I'm out.

Might turn up on the sept thread after christmas. Generally p'd off with the whole thing. As dd was an accident I really hadn't bargained on it taking 5+ months. How wrong can you be? Think I'm gonna dig my old persona monitor out and see if it helps.

x

olivo · 10/12/2008 16:43

sorry to hear that smallone. take care, enjoy Christmas and drop back in when yuo feel ready.

Sunnydale · 10/12/2008 16:46

Sorry Smallone, best of luck for next month. Pippy, many congrats! Lovely news for Christmas. Enjoy it and please try not to worry. Headfairy, can we discuss the burning feeling behind your pelvic bone? Coz I have it too. I am trying so hard not to symptom spot, and anyway I'm only on CD22 so I doubt I'd have any symptoms this early anyway. But there is something going on down there. I can't bear the waiting to find out what. Half of me is hopeful and the other half is telling me not to be so ridiculous. Torture. Am just trying to take my mind off it, but pretty hard when DD LITERALLY talks about her "baby sister" every five seconds. And oh, I so want to give her one for Christmas! Sorry, rant over - thinking of us all and sending babydust, and baby dust-infused tampons for those with AF (eeew, those sound gross, sorry!)

LollysMum1 · 10/12/2008 19:42

Hi all, well I think I maybe out too. Feel so despondent about the whole thing as for the first month felt really confident that I'd def ov'd and done lots of BDing at the right time. There I was expecting a normal 14 days to wait after OV for AF and the bloody witch turns up a week early. So now I've convinced myself I have a v short LP problem and going to GP on Fri. been trying for over a year now and save for a MC in the summer, sweet FA. I did think it could be implantation bleeding as OV was 8 days ago or so but it's now been going for 24 hours on and off so unlikely I guess.

On a lighter note, congrats to thepippy. Sorry smallone that you're in the same boat.
