Hi ladies!

Hope you find the new thread!!!

OP posts:

Hi cam thanks for the congrats.

i dont know if it will work for you but i followed the sperm meets egg plan this month.
You BD from CD8 everyother day and then do OPks from CD10 when you get your +ive on OPKs you BD for 3 days in a row and then miss a day and then again on the 5th the theory is that you are bound to hit the spot.
Me and DH followed this but we BD morning and night on Bd days and inbetween when we could. i also took aspirin for the first 2 weeks to help lining and took showers instead of baths as didnt want to wash any of the sperm away.

its has worked and i was taking clomid too so perhaps you could give it a try you never know.
Good luck and baby dust to you

clairebear88 · 11/11/2008 11:43

OMG Ray

Big congrats to you and DH I really hope this is a sticky one for you. I have missed cd8 as now on cd11 but am just gonna bd loads and follow your plan next month.
Keep us updated on this thread as its so nice to hear good news.

Take care and look after yourself

Cam - Sorry your aunt has shown up, I really hope the last month of clomid is a winner and you will be celebrating big time on your bday. Good luck

Great news ray! Congrats !!
Hope it will be a safe and uncomplicated 9mths for you
do share with us your symptoms b4 a BFP
Cam 75, fingers crossed for you this on this last cycle..
Claireear, we didnt forget you..how can we? btw 2ww is 2 week wait.. n hopefully the results is good..

ray81 · 11/11/2008 12:35

hey nandos,

i didnt have an awful lot of symptoms i must say not usual ones anyway.

I normally get Sore BB and had none.

I havent been sleeping well which is unusual for me, and have been having very strange dreams. Night sweats and waking up feeling like i have wet myself, which was quite awful.
Feeling tired although not majorly but just like i have no energy at all. and irritable like i want to kill someone!!!
i also had a very overwhelming feeling just after Ov that it has worked and i actually felt PG. Very thick and creamy Cm and bowels playing up (sorry Tmi).

I realy dont know why i did the test this morn as Af wasnt due til fri but when i woke up i had the overwhelming urge to do it. at first it was just one line but after the full 3 mins it was 2 and i thought was imagining it but DH could see it to so was def there.
i have just been and brought the CB digital Pg test which tells you how far you are and i'm going to wait til fri morn and do it then.

i'm alittle worried as have very bad bachache today and this is a normal Af symptom and also funny pains in the womb area although i must say that they are not af pains but sharp little pains that come and go.

I am going to make an appointment with the doc for later in the week and see what he says as have had the 2 mc before. I have also decided that i will pay to have a scan at 7 weeks to make sure everything is ok.

clairebear88 · 11/11/2008 15:21

Hi Ray

Sounds like implantation pains so that sounds good. Funnily enough my mum said to me the other day that when she fell for me she had a week of really bad nightmares so all looks good for you.
I hope you have a smooth sailing pregnancy and keep us posted on your progress.

Nandos - I hate the 2ww . Thanks for not missing me out lol

pinkie08 · 11/11/2008 17:50

yeah!!!!! finally i have my clomid. rang and rang and rang the secretary of my consultant so much so i think she did it to get me off her back. Was slightly gutted though as the first chemist i took it too said they couldnt read it and i had to go bk to the hospital was not happy. But all sorted now, just took it to another chemist.
So just got to wait for af now then i can start taking it. Although it not to turn up and me be pg would be better. Af due tomorrow then due to start first clomid sat. anyone on same day would love some support.
hope everyones ok n keeping their head up.
fingers crossed and baby dust to all.

sarashy · 17/11/2008 11:24

Why do our bodies do this to us. It just doesnt seem fair. Af was due on friday and never showed up. so i been really good n stepped away from the testing kits. this morning thought right im 3-4 days late ill do a test. to be honest was beginning to get my hopes up only to be totally deverstated when it showed negative. So here i am, no af so cant start clomid, crying my eyes out. I really just want to go bk to bed and hide under the duvet. I dont know how much more disappointment i can take.

pinkie08 · 17/11/2008 12:02

Hi sarashy

Please dont cry (((((hugs)))))

I went through the same thing for my first round of clomid but when the AF arrived i really felt that i was moving forward with the ttcing.

The other side is that its not over til the AF gets you.

Be positive you'll get there in the end.

Lots and lots of ((hugs))

thanks Pinkie. Well bad news af arrived, but as you say at least now i can start the clomid in the morning. Decided sat here crying wasnt doing me any good so i just went and bought myself a new kitchen instead lol!! Funny what my husband will agree to when im upset. Just having a down day, ill pull myself out of it eventually. just wonder sometimes how many more times i can though, n when just to give up.
Book my appointment for my day 12 scan, they said about doing an internal scan? has anyone else had this?
x

pinkie08 · 18/11/2008 10:29

HI,

Sarashy

I had a few when they were checking my ovaries and insides due to recurrent miscarriages.

It painless but they and you get to see more details.

They use a probe that goes in and move that around, i dont remember and discomfort just abit but you get used to that too

clairebear88 · 18/11/2008 16:45

Hi

Sarashy - i know its not fair but at least we know when we finally are blessed with kiddies we will be ready and full with love to give.We all have good and bad days but carry on reguardless, tomorrow is another day so hope you feel better today.
I had an internal scan a couple of weeks ago and they are nothing to worry about, they couldnt find my left ovary so had to route around a bit which was a bit uncomfy but no biggy. You will be fine im sure. As pinkie said its a probe shape and just move about to get a good look at everything.

Hope everyone is doing ok

cx

sarashy · 18/11/2008 17:24

Took my first clomid today and so far fingers crossed i feel fine.
hope everyones ok

pinkie08 · 19/11/2008 09:24

HI Sarashy

Those little tablets they are not too bad, drink plenty of water, i only get the overheating thing so i think i've been lucky but be positive.

Are you having any blood tests later on in the month?

I had a few pains in my ovaries yesterday evening and into the night so hopefully the clomid has woken the ovaries up properly this month. Only one more set of tablets left before the consultant does further tests. YUCK am hoping the clomid works !!

ray81 · 19/11/2008 15:35

Hi guys,

thought id update you all. Went to hosp yesterday and they have said i am miscarrying as hormones are so low just waiting to start to bleed now.

I may join you all again in a few months but right now just cant even think of trying again, i cannot spend another 4 years TTC to fall and then lose this early.
The only consolation i have is that as this will be the 3rd one at least they will investigate but as with the infertility they prob wont find anyhting wrong and then i'll be back to square one again.
Perhaps i just need to face up to the fact that i amm never going to have anymore children its obvioulsy not meant to be and i need to accept that and move on with my life opr at least try to.

God i was so so so happy (sobs) why why why does this always happen to me.

Oh I am so so sorry to hear what has happened.

Take care of yourself, take some time out like you plan.

I know it is no consolation whatsoever at the moment, but I had a friend who miscarried 3 times in a row and for the fourth pregnancy she was monitored every other week all the way through and is now at home with her 2 month old baby girl.

It will happen! Don't lose hope.

Just take the time now to recover from the physical and emotional roller coaster. Hope to see you back before too long.

Take care of yourself ok....
