TTC September/October 26

I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.

Hope you're both doing ok! I had one in January (cycle 3), we're still trying now. Just started cycle 13. It gets easier as time goes on. I put a lot of pressure on myself in the cycles after as everyone said you're super fertile after. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself, it may happen quickly it may not. I've read lots of threads and it seems it can be anywhere from the next cycle to 18 months after. I think it's just luck of the draw. Take care of yourself.

With my chemical I would have known as well as I was a week late. I still early test every month as I want to know what's going on. I actually find it easier to see negative tests then I would just randomly having bleeding one day as I can mentally prepare myself for AF. Also if I'm negative 11/12dpo I count myself out and I like knowing where I stand each month. Having repeated chemicals is something that needs investigation so I'd like to know about it so that's another reason I early test. It's different strokes for different folks though. Some people find early testing too hard so do whatever works for you <3

Sorry to see this but don't lose hope, if it's happened before it can and will happen again! But it's an unbelievable downer to try for so long, as you know I'm in the same boat and we've never even had one BFP. Currently with AF and she's extra heavy and mean this month :(
My hycosy is just over a week away now, I will keep you updated with how it goes and keep my fingers crossed for me and you both. 🤞 🩷

So today is CD1 of my 10th postpartum cycle for trying for baby No.2. At the beginning of last month I started to find this ttc journey a bit hard. I got really sad on 10 dpo of the last cycle and then got upset again this afternoon.I stayed away from mumsnet for 1 month. Now I am feeling better so I have decided to come back. I am going to wait for 4 more cycles because by then it will be one year of trying. If nothing happens, I will think about the next step. Hopefully I would not have to go through this. New cycle, new hope! Good luck to everyone here.🍀

I just caved and tested at 8/9DPO.

It looks a bit flooded to me but I don’t think I’ve had one this strong, I’ll see if I can try again later with a SMU but if this is an evap it’s the craziest one I’ve gotten.

I want to let myself be excited and ignore the “what if” for now.

Main symptom for me has been trapped gas and extremely argumentative which is really unlike me. I mean literally picking arguments at work for things I absolutely would have ignored - I thought it was stress but also know that my patience has gone right down 🫣

So sorry to hear you are feeling down. This TTC journey is so hard. Sounds like we started trying around the same time, December last year? How old is your little one?

I’ve booked an appointment at my GP for next week already 😬 hoping they will agree to do blood tests, even if they won’t refer until December 🤞

I have started trying since the end of January when my little one was 9 months old. Yes I have seen your name appearing in every monthly ttc thread since then. I remember I talked to you at the very beginning about regulating your cycle. 🙂 It is really kind of you to reply to my comment and I hope you will get your blood test soon. Though you do see some people posting their BFP pictures while joining monthly ttc thread, you also have a place to vent out your feelings and there is a chance that one or two people might be in the same boat as you. If I get more worried or desperate sooner than I said, I will consider doing private blood tests to save time. Fingers crossed for both of us.

By the way, I have started to use Apple watch since the beginning of last cycle, only during the nights. That is why I knew I was not pregant on 10 dpo because my RHR didn't go up then my Ovusense confirmed it on 11/12 dpo. It saved me the pain to do a pregancy test and wait for the result. From this cycle, I will wear it every day and also I am curious about my health in general.

It’s been a long journey for both of us! So many monthly threads! My cycle has, for the last few cycles been fairly regular, 35-37 days-ish which is pretty good for me! I feel the myo-inositol is doing something. But still not pregnant!

I know what you mean about the “can I join?” with a BFP picture 😂 I try to ignore and think they probably just confused between this board and the pregnancy board! It’s getting to the point when I wonder if I need a “long term TTC-ers” thread! It’s such a different feeling 10 months in.

Interesting about the Apple Watch! I haven’t got a wearable but have seen several people say this, saves a little of the BFN pain. Might have to get one soon!

Tested 8dpo with about 5th morning urine 😂 my first test had a weird line on it so don't really want to count. Second test had something on it when it was drying but now it's dry, there's nothing there so im counting that as negative!

Not overly optimistic this cycle due to having zero symptoms! but, will carry on testing over the next few days as i know it's so early!

ah good point @Saffie920 this was the second one where there was something when it was wet, but nothing when it dries! i'm pretending the first test doesnt exist for now!
