So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

I'm 9dpo today. Will test tomorrow morning at 10dpo and ordered a load more tests that will come tomorrow😅

Thank you. I think due date will be mid April if its definitely positive and I am hopefully able to make it that far in this pregnancy🤞🏻

Fair enough! 40 weeks will be mid-April if I get a positive in the coming days (and assume will be the same for others)

Ah how lovely! I hope to get to 2 but don’t know if I’ll need to stop to get pregnant

Tested again this morning at 10dpo and its looking more clearer. It looks pink in rl and dont need my torch light on to see it😅. Ive got some clearblue tests coming today so will see what shows up on them.

Just hopping over from the July thread. Currently at what I believe is 12DPO, but could well be 11/10 as I’m not tracking ovulation.

I took this test yesterday where this line appeared within 5 mins, but then didn’t seem to be there when I checked 2 hours later. I’ve had some awful evap lines with the boots early response but what do you ladies make of this? I’m trying so hard not to get my hopes up, every month I feel like I have all the symptoms and sometimes even convince myself the tests are positive just to be disappointed.

First image is without flash and second image is with - I’m colourblind so can’t even tell if the line is pink or not.

My app is saying I’m 3 dpo and I’m starting to feel hopeful that I have actually ovulated. My Lh is continuing to drop, was at 0.3 yesterday, and my EWCM has dried up! Which it didn't when I failed to ovulate last cycle. So 🤞 for a short cycle this time! Would be 35 day cycle, which feels like a miracle after my 83 day cycle last time!

Oooooh @DancingThroughLife02 I definitely see a slight shadow there! Can’t tell if it’s pink from that photo. But I’ve also seen awful evaps with Boots tests and I’m not sure the line on that test goes all the way to the top. Can you get hold of a different brand? Feel you would get a straight answer on a FRER.

I’m trying to hold off testing until at least Wednesday now as I also think I tested far too early, but definitely think this might be worth ordering some FRERs for.

I might be very unlucky as I’ve had evaps on every single brand of test, including clear blue and FRER!

Ah im sorry to hear that your cycles are still so long, it’s so disheartening when everyone else’s TWW ends up as a month long wait instead.

That’s awesome 🙂 even just getting back to 30-ish day cycles is a big win for this time even if it ends up bfn.

That sounds really bad! Can’t believe you have had so many evaps! Especially on a FRER, I’ve always found them really reliable. The pink dye Clear Blue are supposed to better than the blue dye Clear Blue? Or maybe a digital? I think you would get a positive on one of those by Wednesday?

Thanks for the 🤞, definitely need the luck! I have been taking myo-inositol for 4 months now, maybe it is finally having an effect. It is suppose to take 3 months to regulate cycles so 🤞 that this is it. It definitely is so disheartening, waiting so long to ovulate, all those months I’ve missed!

Thank you 🥰 it’s definitely much easier to talk to others going through similar isn’t it. Most of our friends are either pregnant with their second or have already had more than one. Really feels like it’s just us struggling. Obviously I am very grateful to have our daughter, and can’t imagine how hard it is for people trying for their first ❤️

Thank you for that advice, I have actually just filled in an econsult with the GP so I will see what they say. I do have some history which may warrant them investigating things a bit earlier as well so fingers crossed!

@Silverglass Definitely! A 35 day cycle is within the normal range, it would be so good! Also would save me money on ovulation tests 😂 last cycle I used 80!

Ah this is great! I’m going to have a 40+ day cycle again. Also taking my-inositol so feeling hopeful it could reduce mine down by a week or so too.

Sorry to hear you are still suffering with long cycles too! It is so hard waiting to ovulate. I’m finding the will I/ won’t I ovulate much tougher than the TWW.

My cycle length is all over the place. Had a couple of 35 day cycles and then some super long, over 60 days ones! I think I often try to ovulate around CD20, as I always seem to get a Lh surge around then, but then if it doesn’t work my body seems to take another 20-25 days to try again and then another 20-25 days if that still doesn’t work! I’m hoping the myo-inositol could reduce my cycle length to 28, I’ve seen some brilliant results online so 🤞

How long have you been taking myo-inositol for? I take the Ova one, quite expensive but seemed to have good reviews.

Ahh 28 days would be amazing! I’ve been taking it 5 weeks so far and I take the free soul one. Will you continue it once you’re pregnant or will you stop it? I wasn’t sure what’s recommended

I also find the waiting to ovulate difficult. I haven’t found the Tww too awful but I’ve got work to think about this month

Yep, such a loooong cycle! Putting it down to an anovulatory cycle as I had a bit of spotting when my period was due. Taking myo-insitol now to hopefully regulate them.

I'm still in limbo. Was on the pill till about 4 weeks ago. Had positive ovulation test just no period or positive pregnancy tests. I had a faint one a few weeks ago but its since been negative so not sure what's going on

A positive ovulation test? You might have a short Lh surge like me. Mine goes up peaks and nack down in the space of only a day or two

My AF started on time yesterday, that's my 11th cycle finished with nothing at all. I called the hospital today to book in for the hycosy procedure that I'm due. It won't be until October but it feels like the next steps we are ready for. Really hoped we wouldn't have to be going down for further investigations but we don't really have a choice now. There's definitely something wrong with me, I've always had painful periods and was always told it was normal and to shut up and put up. Feeling a bit bitter about all the times I was ignored and basically lied to about what's normal and what isn't..
