I wanted to update the thread this morning as I have had a confusing morning with tests. I've been keeping an eye on my LH as you guys suggested, and this morning I got my strongest positive ever, 1.25. My peak 11 days ago was only 0.84 then it came clearly back down.

I did a pregnancy test as I know the hormones can cross react but I really don't think I can see anything.

I'm cd35 today this would officially be my latest ovulation if it is ovulation.

I'm having hormonal symptoms of some sort but I don't know what's what anymore, feeling very frustrated and absolutely not like DTD in the slightest!

Oh @SKLM that is an absolute head melt, so do u think u didn’t actually ovulate that time 11 days and this is the true peak? What CD are u now?

im 8 dpo and really dunno what to think, i had a RHR drop on 6 and 7 dpo, up slightly now today so no clue what’s happening. I am absolutely exhausted and went to bed with toddler yesterday evening at 8.30pm. All wee twinges and pains gone so I’ve no idea. Af prob on its way 🤷🏼‍♀️

@DmcinT maddening isn't it. I find it so exhausting being so constantly in tune with your body, it's hard to focus on anything else. What day is your period due? When will you test?

I'm cd35. Have just baked a cake and am now eating it out of frustration. It's not even properly cooled down yet 😩

@SKLM Yeah I’m the same, find it very hard to focus on anything else, I deff become quite obsessed!
So I’m usually spot on 28 days but this cycle I ovulated a bit earlier on CD 12 (with stopping breastfeeding I assume) so I’m assuming that means AF is due by CD 24/ 25 ish? Which will be Monday/Tuesday

This morning I asked DH was he still taking supplements, he said he was but he wants this to be the last month with the pressure of trying and performing on those days! I know what he means and we agreed we’d take a break over the summer months but it’s deff upset me 🤷🏼‍♀️

@SKLM that sounds to me like this is your “real” peak - so frustrating for you to be back to the start of the wait!! We also have waaaay less sex on the tww so I’d be missing it completely if I had a later surge 🙈🙈

@DmcinT sorry to hear you feel upset with your husband, I probably would react the same way. When you say summer off, how do you feel about it? Will you be avoiding sex or just not being regimented with dates and tracking ect?

@SKLM sorry to see the negative tests .. but very positive LH strip. That’s crazy. Did you ever start recording your temp? If you didn’t, it could be a good idea to start tracking it? Even though the ovulation strips are good, I think considering how up and down your cycles are, it’d be a good idea to have a second source of information too. That’s just me throwing thoughts at you though, I really don’t know enough about it. It must be so frustrating for you.

I am 13dpo today. I haven’t tested. Period is due any time, so I’m just waiting for it to start. I feel really tired today and I’ve had a few twinges, so I imagine it’ll be soon.

@DmcinT that's a hard thing to hear from your husband. I worry about mine saying it too. How long is he thinking for? The older I get I feel like every ovulation is precious. Hope you are okay X

@PandaLife if we are not successful this time I will have to start temping, I don't think I can deal with the constant uncertainty anymore!

So we've dtd to cover today. My LH has peaked and fallen in less than 24 hours, I guess I would have ovulated today or early hours tomorrow. Might set an alarm to get one more in before our toddler wakes up in the morning 😫So sick of this cycle.

My peak came out at 1.87 once it had sat for ten mins, I rescanned it. Crazy.

Hi ladies! Got my peak yesterday, dtd Tuesday and tonight (ovulation) so we shall see what this cycle has in store. You’d think it would be so easy to catch it..why is it so hard!

I asked gpt and it sees a v faint line also 😅 like it is deff so faint but it is deff there.
I am exhausted all day the last 2 days and went to bed with my toddler around 8pm both nights, couldn’t keep my eyes open, but that could just be progesterone too, who knows.
please god it’s slightly more visible tomorrow.

How u feelin @SKLM are u counting as 1 dpo now or what u thinking?

@DmcinT I remember suddenly having that fatigue with my son, it hit me like a wall and I had to sleep really early.

I'm feeling quite deflated and sad, I hope we caught my ovulation. Yes i'm counting today as 1dpo, my cm was very egg white and copious but it is drying up now. Flo reckons this will be a 50 day cycle for me now. I'm starting to think that maybe we will try for the next year until i'm 40, I'm asking myself a lot of questions about whether I can put up with trying and my cycle being so difficult.

Yay thank you. I was wondering when we would start a new one haha. I think I’m in my luteal phase somewhere because my boobs finally started hurting but don’t think we ovulated when I thought I did. At least I’m looking forward to my cycle being back! Lol

Crazy same thing has happened to me. You know I was on the pcos reddit and it looks like a lot of people with pcos get a weird wonky cycle around spring, even if they are usually regular. I asked chat gpt and they said it’s something to do with the seasons changing and daylight and melatonin etc. happens to me every spring!

Hoping I’m ok to join! Just starting the process (for the second time) this month after coil removal in Feb and trying to get my head around it all. I previously had an early MC a few years ago followed by about 10 months of trying before I had my son so trying to mentally prepare for things not happening quickly and be “chilled” about it (hahahahahahahahahahaha). Currently on CD29, although I didn’t ovulate until CD17-18 so actually only 11-12 DPO. Had a negative test today (albeit not with FMU) and trying to accept that my period is defo going to arrive in the next day or two but also my brain is still trying to convince me that 11-12 DPO is technically still early enough that it just might not be showing up. Has anyone ever had a negative at 12 DPO that turned positive at 14 DPO?

My af is sending me down a frustrating path again. Was due to start yesterday and still hasn’t come. I’ve been crampy, boobs hurt, lots of cm which I keep thinking is my af and I’m absolutely exhausted. I did a test yesterday morning and it was negative so I very much doubt that is the reason. Maybe I ovulated later than though which is annoying because I didn’t track LH properly this cycle and we haven’t dtd much … so maybe we missed the window completely 😫

@SKLM that is really tough going with irregular cycles, it’s hard with regular cycles but the uncertainty around O and tww for u is another level, I’m sorry ur going through this. Sorry if u have mentioned but have u been to gp about them or seen a specialist etc.. to discover why it’s happening?

@PandaLife so frustrating having a bfn and af being delayed, although maybe implantation was later and it’s just not showing yet?

im so glad ye see something there, i was thinking i was going mad! Althou its so faint, if i look back i can see it sometimes and think there’s nothing there other times. Convincing myself of both scenarios all day lol

@PandaLife really sorry to hear AF is giving you the run around. Did this happen for you a couple of cycles ago too? So frustrating. Maybe when you get your peak test you do ovulate on the later side of things? Or, you could be pregnant.. keep us updated. Sending positive vibes.

@DmcinT I have pcos plus endometriosis. Somehow got lucky with my first, conceived first cycle trying not long after coming off the pill! Not all of my cycles are this unpredictable. I've had two very long ones in a row but before that 3 regular. Good luck testing tomorrow 😀

Ah yes @SKLM i rem u saying this now, those long cycles are tough going. It’s holding that hope for so long is exhausting

well i tested this morning and i dunno, i think it’s either negative or v v faint again. Gpt sees a line, im not so sure. Thoughts?

@DmcinT I feel like there is something really faint there. I find those tests a bit tough to read, when I've used them I found they flooded quite easily. Does the line appear more clearly in real life I think Mumsnet takes the image quality down a bit
