TTC Baby number 2

Little background started trying in May 2025. Conceived in June however had a MMC at 12 week. Scan end of August, ended in medical miscarriage at the start of September.
I had a chemical beginning of December.
baby number 1 was so easy and quick and I’m struggling atm with two losses, the new year and no pregnancy :(
I am looking to start a thread so that women in a similar situation can post and share their experiences on what can be a very lonely ttc journey ❤️

@mumofro private because I've already got 1, NHS won't help me now. I also did private testings after 2 miscarriages before my first, IMO it was totally worth it because the results got me on the pathway for NHS IVF (which I didn't need in the end) and progesterone pessaries to support my next pregnancy... It was £470 to test us both at kings fertility clinic

Hi guys I got faint positives this morning on Clear blue and first response. My private dr has given me progesterone.
im only 10dpo so very early days. I bled on my chemical at 11dpo in December. Also have high NK cell cytoxicity. So I’m feeling very nervous, because my dr said i would likely need ivf for a successful pregnancy 🥺 I’m hoping the progesterone helps x

Congrats! Hopefully the progesterone does the trick! Fully understand the anxiety, just take one day at a time ❤️

How's everyone doing?? I feel like I'm going slightly insane. BFN yesterday at 10dpo, but I had a random nosebleed (never happens), have had tonnes of watery cm and today I feel nauseous! I'm out of tests so haven't tested this morning but gonna have to go buy one. But in all 3 previous pregnancies I would have been positive by yesterday, feel like I'm imagining all these symptoms and sending myself loopy🫠

Ok today's test is also negative. EFF all these symptoms. I am definitely out.

It's so confusing, I'm sorry @Tor88, I try to keep positive until my period but usually fail at actually doing that. I'm cd 16 and a bit confused, usually get a bit of a rise, one dark line that's 1+ then it drops quite quickly but this month it's quite different. Guess I'll keep up my hobby of testing 😅

Although the strips can be helpful i never found them that great aside from having a rough idea of when i ovulate. I don't bother with the strips anymore as I find that cervical mucus is usually a good indicator instead and you can tell just from when you wipe so it's very easy. Could that be a good indicator for you if the ovulation tests aren't giving a clear result?

Hi guys I have a feeling a may be having another chemical. Top is 11dpo and second is. 13dpo. I would expect to see a lot darker line by now too :(

You’re still very early, and in the early stages the HGC takes 48 hours to gradually increase so fingers crossed everything is perfectly fine ❤️ @Lola266

Hey guys thought I’d jump on. I’m TTC baby no2, came off contraception May 2025, been trying since with a “if it happens it happens” attitude, until recently when I started tracking bbt and opks religiously, still no baby in sight.

Have you tried any other type of brands of tests? When are you due on your period? Any period signs? Have everything crossed for you x

This is my clear blue. Latest one today is 15dpo. I had a negative CB weeks indicator yesterday at 14DPO. My period is about a day or two late. Xx

The line is still definitely there so hopefully it’s just taking a little longer for levels to increase. I’ve heard that’s happened to many women. Try and stay positive xx

Hi guys, looks like I’ve had a chemical tests are negative today. Been cramping all day but no blood yet.
also had my partner semen analysis which showed low count and consecration and also a high Round cell concentration which indicate dna fragmentation that can also cause misscariages.

we have now decided to go down the IVF route ❤️

I’ve had a positive test this month. I think I ovulated early and I’m not getting my hopes up too much yet. Hope everyone is doing ok x

Morning! I’m currently 7dpo and AF is due on Thursday. Hoping to hold out until Tuesday/wednesday to test. Have been thrown a bit of a curve ball though 🙈 I had a lump in my abdomen looked at and was told it was likely just scar tissue. However now they are saying they don’t know what it is, and want to do a ct and/or small biopsy on the cancer 2 week referral. We would obviously still be happy if was preg this month, but now worried it may complicate the tests I need 🙁
How are you @mumofro? do you think you’ll test early or try to wait out AF? 😊

We are now 6 months into TTC No2 with no luck yet since my MMC at 12 weeks last year. Finding it really disheartening and difficult to understand why it just isn’t happening. I think I’m putting too much pressure on it as the age gap is getting bigger all the time.

Hi guys good luck all this month ❤️ we have had a lot of news since about my partners sperm etc so it seems to be both of us that is linked to the RPL. It’s been a hard couple of weeks since the miscarriage. But hopefully start egg retrieval next month. It’s weird to not be trying and although it’s nice having this time not peeing on sticks i feel a bit lost with it all.
all I would say is I wish we had his tests done after the first miscarriage and saved us all this heartache 🥹

No success the first month, shame as I felt pregnant with super sore boobs! Just bought the Pregnacare Before Conception vitamins today to take rather than just folic acid on it's own though so hopefully they'll help! I wanted to start taking vitamin D anyway and it's included so bonus. Nice to feel like I'm doing something to help my chances.

My temp dropped & resting heart rate lowered last night so I think this may be a chemical 😒 my tests still positive but still not dark lines.

How are you @wonderlust07what’s happened with the tests? Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

I am 8dpo today, going to try and stretch until 10 to test but it’s always tricky. Only current symptom is lower belly period like pains. X

They’re darker than they were but still not really dark at all but I’m not sure if that means much. My temp is back up but it was boiling at Legoland last night.
