Little background started trying in May 2025. Conceived in June however had a MMC at 12 week. Scan end of August, ended in medical miscarriage at the start of September.
I had a chemical beginning of December.
baby number 1 was so easy and quick and I’m struggling atm with two losses, the new year and no pregnancy :(
I am looking to start a thread so that women in a similar situation can post and share their experiences on what can be a very lonely ttc journey ❤️

I am CD2 xx

9dpo BFN 😞

Firsttimerugbymum · 28/01/2026 10:51

Hello!

Hoping I can join. TTC number two for two cycles now.

Not very long, but I conceived first time round super quickly so my expectations are a little off.

Since having number 1 my hormones are all out of whack and I tend to get a lot of spotting my concerns me. I'm also still breastfeeding which is worrying me too

BFN on 12dpo so pretty sure I'm out this month

9dpo BFN 😞

9 dpo is early - hoping you get your positive soon

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 19:03

Hi everyone, could I join? Am 6 cycles in to trying for no2. Am 37, had 2 miscarriages before my son so booked in for testing in a few weeks assuming this cycle is unsuccessful (8dpo BFN) to tentatively move towards possible IVF. Am starting to get nervous about what this journey could look like whilst also holding on to the fact that 6 cycles is nothing really and it might just all be fine....

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 19:03

Someone on here asked about aspirin - I took this from day 1 in my only successful pregnancy!! Along with progesterone. So would do both again...

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 19:05

@mumofro I took the pessaries! Not very fun but it all worked out great...

@ThatMintMember gosh you poor thing, I had 2 miscarriages before my first and I'm doing EMDR now to try and process one of them as it was verrrrry medically traumatic so I feel you, it's hard going back in for more after that experience, take care of yourself!! And yes we must advise everyone to take the out cold surgical route!! I'm praying I have no more miscarriages in my future but also trying to hold how likely it could be...

Oh yes definitely recommend the surgical route! It got me back on my feet way sooner than the medication route. I'm sorry you've been through similar and hope the EMDR works for you!

I can't say I'm optimistic for trying again, I feel like I'll fall pregnant and then lose it again :( but if I don't at least try I'll never have another baby. I haven't raised my first baby thinking he was my last, I want to do it all again and be a second time parent!

mumofro · 28/01/2026 20:07

Relooked at my test from this morning and this is how it looks now, bloody clear blue evap lines 😖😖

That's so frustrating! You'd think the expensive tests wouldn't do that.

I've always used the Easy@Home tests from Amazon I've never ever had an evap line (I've taken over 50 tests over the years). I'd recommend them as they're cheaper for when we're taking lots of tests!

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 20:39

@mumofro mine from today is exactly the same!! 2/3 have an evap, it's obviously got my hopes up but they've both only appeared hours later when I know I shouldn't have looked 🥺🥺 and the third is stark negative. And they claim to be pretty accurate at this point (5 days pre period). UGH.

Also re the above re easy @ home I have also used tonnes of these but I did have an evap last month! It was maddening, I thought it was it but all the tests after were negative and my period came right on time..

Give me the strength to not look again after the timing window ffs

mumofro · 28/01/2026 21:10

How rubbish does it feel ☹️☹️ praying that somehow by a miracle I do a test tomorrow morning and it changes to a positive but I already know I’m out this month. When will you test again @Tor88X

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 21:55

@mumofro I'm feeling the same 🥺 I did another test this eve (4 today! Evaps have sent me...) and I swore I'd throw it away after 10 mins, it was negative at the 10 minute mark and is now buried in the bin. I'll test again first thing tomo but I think I must be out... I'm either 8 or 9 dpo today so we're on similar schedules. Every time I've been pregnant (3x) it's been a blazing positive by 11dpo... Crazy process isn't it...

mumofro · 29/01/2026 09:24

Hi lovelies. Negative test this morning 10dpo. How crappy is this journey :/ I can’t focus on anything else at the moment!! How’s everyone getting on x

CrazyKJ · 29/01/2026 09:45

Also negative this morning, don’t know why I do it to myself 🙈 Only 9dpo so could still go either way, that being said I don’t feel preg so I suspect it’s not going to be our month X

Tor88 · 29/01/2026 10:06

same also negative, 9dpo which sounds early but 4 days til AF so I'm sure that means I'm out - given the ultra earlys say it's 99% accurate at this point! Haaaaate this part of this process

Lola266 · 29/01/2026 13:02

I had a negative this morning. 9dpo period due Monday/ Tuesday.
Feels like I can see something but probs have line eyes 😂

So tricky to tell in a picture, fingers crossed for you - maybe too soon to show up? At least we’re all similar cycles, so can lean on each other !!

mumofro · 29/01/2026 13:15

Do you all track your BBT? X

Tor88 · 29/01/2026 15:15

@mumofro yeah I do, I do BBT and clearblue digital ovulation sticks AND opks just for good measure 😂😂

ThatMintMember · 29/01/2026 16:40

I'm very much just in the run up to our first try this year and being productive with the time. I'm doing some pre-nesting 🤣 i get horrific morning sickness so it's best to start with a clean house before it all gets neglected. I'm also exercising and attempting to lose some weight, it can only help and it'll be good for my mental health too! This is all just incase i get pregnant but it'll all stop if I do haha.

Can’t really tell from the photo. In my last pregnancy I could’ve sworn I saw something the night before (thought I was going crazy 😂) and then was faintly positive the next morning so fingers crossed!! 🤞

Tor88 · 30/01/2026 10:33

Negative again today, 10dpo, and got hideous period cramps, so just want period to arrive now so I can move on from this month. One more cycle to go before our first round of testing for possible IVF 🙃😅

Is your testing via NHS or are you going privately? I am due to next see the recurrent miscarriage unit in June, however it feels like it’s forever away, and kind of thinking to just go privately now…
